17 (KJV) And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.
17 (ROH) A povedal som im, aby išli k Iddovi, hlave to v mieste Chasifii, a vložil som do ich úst slová, jako majú hovoriť Iddovi, Achivovi, Netinejcom, v mieste Chasifii, aby nám doviedli svätoslužobníkov pre dom nášho Boha.

20 (ROH) A z Netinejcov, ktorých bol dal Dávid a kniežatá k službe Levitom, Netinejcov dvesto dvadsiatich. Tí všetci boli pomenovaní podľa mena.

21 (CPDV) And I proclaimed a fast in that place, beside the river Ahava, so that we might afflict ourselves in the sight of the Lord our God, and so that we might request of him the right way for us, and for our sons, and for all our substance.
21 (KJV) Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
21 (ROH) A vyhlásil som tam pôst, pri rieke Ahave, aby sme sa ponižovali pred svojím Bohom hľadajúc od neho priamu cestu pre seba, pre svoje deti a pre všetko svoje imanie.

22 (CPDV) For I was ashamed to petition the king for assistance and for horsemen, who would defend us from the enemy along the way. For we had said to the king: “The hand of our God is over all those who seek him in goodness. And his authority, and his strength and fury, is over all those who forsake him.”
22 (KJV) For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

23 (CPDV) And so we fasted and begged our God for this; and as a result, we prospered.
23 (KJV) So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
23 (ROH) A tak sme sa postili a hľadali sme o to svojho Boha, a vyslyšal nás.

24 (CPDV) And I separated twelve from among the leaders of the priests: Sherebiah, and Hashabiah, and with them ten of their brothers.
24 (KJV) Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,
24 (ROH) A oddelil som dvanástich z kniežat kňazov: Šerebiáša, Chašabiáša a s nimi desiatich z ich bratov.

25 (CPDV) And I weighed out to them the silver and the gold, and the vessels consecrated to the house of our God, which had been offered by the king, and by his counselors and his leaders, and by all those of Israel who had been found.
25 (KJV) And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellers, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:
25 (ROH) A odvážil som im striebro a zlato a tie nádoby, obeť to pozdvihnutia domu nášho Boha, ktorú obetovali kráľ a jeho radcovia a jeho kniežatá a celý Izrael, všetci, ktorí sa tam našli.

26 (CPDV) And I weighed out to their hands six hundred fifty talents of silver, and one hundred vessels of silver, and one hundred talents of gold,
26 (KJV) I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;
26 (ROH) A tedy odvážil som do ich ruky striebra šesťsto päťdesiat hrivien a strieborných nádob sto hrivien, zlata sto hrivien,

27 (CPDV) and twenty gold bowls which had the weight of one thousand coins, and two vessels of the finest shining brass, as beautiful as gold.
27 (KJV) Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.
27 (ROH) dvadsať zlatých pohárov v hodnote tisíc daríkov a dve nádoby z medi výborného lesku, vzácne jako zlato.

28 (CPDV) And I said to them: “You are the holy ones of the Lord, and the vessels are holy, with the silver and the gold, which has been offered freely to the Lord, the God of our fathers.
28 (KJV) And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.
28 (ROH) A riekol som im: Vy ste svätí Hospodinovi, i tie nádoby sú sväté, a striebro a zlato je dobrovoľná obeť, daná Hospodinovi, Bohu vašich otcov.

29 (CPDV) Watch and guard them, until you weigh them out before the leaders of the priests and the Levites, and the rulers of the families of Israel in Jerusalem, into the treasury of the house of the Lord.”
29 (KJV) Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.
29 (ROH) Pozorujte a strážte to, dokiaľ to neodvážite pred kniežatami kňazov a Levitov a pred kniežatami otcov Izraela v Jeruzaleme, v komorách domu Hospodinovho.

30 (CPDV) Then the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, so that they might carry these to Jerusalem, into the house of our God.
30 (KJV) So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
30 (ROH) A tak prevzali kňazi a Leviti váhu striebra a zlata a nádoby, aby to dopravili do Jeruzalema, do domu nášho Boha.

31 (CPDV) Therefore, we set out from the river Ahava, on the twelfth day of the first month, so that we might travel to Jerusalem. And the hand of our God was over us, and he freed us from the hand of the enemy and of those who lay in ambush along the way.
31 (KJV) Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

32 (CPDV) And we arrived at Jerusalem, and we stayed there for three days.
32 (KJV) And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.
32 (ROH) A tak sme prišli do Jeruzalema a sedeli sme tam tri dni.

33 (CPDV) Then, on the fourth day, the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed out in the house of our God, by the hand of Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the priest; and with him was Eleazar, the son of Phinehas, and with them were the Levites, Jozabad, the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, the son of Binnui.
33 (KJV) Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
33 (ROH) A štvrtého dňa bolo odvážené striebro a zlato a nádoby v dome nášho Boha do ruky Meremóta, syna Uriáša, kňaza, a bol s ním Eleazár, syn Pinchasov, a s nimi Jozabad, syn Ješuov, a Noadiáš, syn Binnujov, Levitovia.

34 (CPDV) This was done according to the number and weight of everything; and every weight was written down at that time.
34 (KJV) By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.
34 (ROH) Všetko podľa počtu a podľa váhy, a tedy zapísaná bola všetka váha toho času.

35 (CPDV) Moreover, those who came from the captivity, the sons of the transmigration, offered holocausts to the God of Israel: twelve calves on behalf of all the people of Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve he-goats for sin. All these were a holocaust to the Lord.
35 (KJV) Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.
35 (ROH) Tí, ktorí prišli zo zajatia, synovia prestehovania, obetovali Bohu Izraelovmu zápalné obeti, dvanásť juncov za celého Izraela, deväťdesiatšesť baranov, sedemdesiatsedem oviec a dvanásť kozlov na obeť za hriech; to všetko bola zápalná obeť Hospodinovi.

36 (CPDV) Then they gave the edicts of the king to the rulers who served in the sight of the king, and to the governors beyond the river, and they exalted the people and the house of God.
36 (KJV) And they delivered the king's commissions unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.
36 (ROH) A oddali vladárom kráľovým nariadenia kráľove a vojvodom za riekou. A tak pomáhali ľudu a domu Božiemu.
