Kniha Ezdrášova

1 (HEM) והתנבי חגי נביאה וזכריה בר עדוא נביאיא על יהודיא די ביהוד ובירושלם בשם אלה ישראל עליהון׃
1 (KAT) Prorokoval však prorok Aggeus a Idov syn Zachariáš a prorokovali tým Židom, ktorí boli v Judei a v Jeruzaleme, v mene Izraelovho Boha, ktorý vládol nad nimi.
1 (UKJV) Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.

2 (HEM) באדין קמו זרבבל בר שאלתיאל וישוע בר יוצדק ושריו למבנא בית אלהא די בירושלם ועמהון נביאיא די אלהא מסעדין להון׃
2 (KAT) I chytili sa Šealtielov syn Zorobábel a Josadakov syn Jozue a začali stavať Boží chrám v Jeruzaleme a ruka v ruke s nimi pracovali Boží proroci a podporovali ich.
2 (UKJV) Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

3 (HEM) בה זמנא אתא עליהון תתני פחת עבר נהרה ושתר בוזני וכנותהון וכן אמרין להם מן שם לכם טעם ביתא דנה לבנא ואשרנא דנה לשכללה׃
3 (KAT) V tom čase prišiel k nim vladár Záriečia Tatenai, Šetar Bozenai a ich spolupracovníci a opýtali sa ich: „Kto vám dovolil stavať tento chrám a opravovať tieto hradby?“
3 (UKJV) At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who has commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?

4 (HEM) אדין כנמא אמרנא להם מן אנון שמהת גבריא די דנה בנינא בנין׃
4 (KAT) Ďalej sa ich spytovali: „Ako sa volajú mužovia, čo stavajú túto budovu?“
4 (UKJV) Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?

5 (HEM) ועין אלההם הות על שבי יהודיא ולא בטלו המו עד טעמא לדריוש יהך ואדין יתיבון נשתונא על דנה׃
5 (KAT) Ale Božie oko spočívalo na starších Židoch, a tak im neprerušili prácu, kým sa nepredostrie správa Dáriovi a kým odtiaľ nedostanú rozhodnutie o tom.
5 (UKJV) But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.

6 (HEM) פרשגן אגרתא די שלח תתני פחת עבר נהרה ושתר בוזני וכנותה אפרסכיא די בעבר נהרה על דריוש מלכא׃
6 (KAT) Odpis listu, ktorý poslal vladár Záriečia Tatenai, Šetar Bozenai a ich spolupracovníci Afarsechičania spoza Rieky kráľovi Dáriovi.
6 (UKJV) The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king:

7 (HEM) פתגמא שלחו עלוהי וכדנה כתיב בגוה לדריוש מלכא שלמא כלא׃
7 (KAT) Poslali mu správu a v nej bolo napísané toto:
7 (UKJV) "They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace. "

8 (HEM) ידיע להוא למלכא די אזלנא ליהוד מדינתא לבית אלהא רבא והוא מתבנא אבן גלל ואע מתשם בכתליא ועבידתא דך אספרנא מתעבדא ומצלח בידהם׃
8 (KAT) „Kráľovi Dáriovi dokonalý pokoj! Nech je známe kráľovi, že sme sa vypravili do júdskej krajiny k domu veľkého Boha. Stavajú ho z kvádrov. Steny obkladajú drevom. Pracuje sa usilovne na tom diele a ono im rastie pod rukami.
8 (UKJV) Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is built with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goes fast on, and prospers in their hands.

9 (HEM) אדין שאלנא לשביא אלך כנמא אמרנא להם מן שם לכם טעם ביתא דנה למבניה ואשרנא דנה לשכללה׃
9 (KAT) Opýtali sme sa teda starších a takto sme im vraveli: »Kto vám dovolil stavať tento chrám a opravovať tieto hradby?«
9 (UKJV) Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?

10 (HEM) ואף שמהתהם שאלנא להם להודעותך די נכתב שם גבריא די בראשיהם׃
10 (KAT) Opýtali sme sa ich aj na ich mená, aby sme ti dali vedieť, aj sme zaznačili mená mužov, ktorí sú ich náčelníkmi.
10 (UKJV) We asked their names also, to certify you, that we might write the names of the men that were the chief of them.

11 (HEM) וכנמא פתגמא התיבונא לממר אנחנא המו עבדוהי די אלה שמיא וארעא ובנין ביתא די הוא בנה מקדמת דנה שנין שגיאן ומלך לישראל רב בנהי ושכללה׃
11 (KAT) Odpovedali nám takto: »My sme služobníci Boha nebies a zeme a staviame tento chrám, ktorý bol postavený už dávno pred mnohými rokmi. Staval ho a aj postavil veľký izraelský kráľ.
11 (UKJV) And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was built these many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and set up.

12 (HEM) להן מן די הרגזו אבהתנא לאלה שמיא יהב המו ביד נבוכדנצר מלך בבל כסדיא וביתה דנה סתרה ועמה הגלי לבבל׃
12 (KAT) Potom však, keď naši praotcovia popudili na hnev nebeského Boha, vydal ich do rúk babylonského kráľa, Chaldejca Nabuchodonozora, ktorý zboril tento chrám a ľud presídlil do Babylonu.
12 (UKJV) But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.

13 (HEM) ברם בשנת חדה לכורש מלכא די בבל כורש מלכא שם טעם בית אלהא דנה לבנא׃
13 (KAT) Ale v prvom roku babylonského kráľa Kýra kráľ Kýros vydal nariadenie postaviť tento Boží chrám.
13 (UKJV) But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

14 (HEM) ואף מאניא די בית אלהא די דהבה וכספא די נבוכדנצר הנפק מן היכלא די בירושלם והיבל המו להיכלא די בבל הנפק המו כורש מלכא מן היכלא די בבל ויהיבו לששבצר שמה די פחה שמה׃
14 (KAT) Ba ešte aj zlaté a strieborné nádoby, ktoré patrili Božiemu domu a ktoré Nabuchodonozor pobral z jeruzalemského chrámu a odniesol do babylonského chrámu, kráľ Kýros vyniesol z babylonského chrámu a odovzdal ich istému mužovi menom Sasabasár, ktorého vymenoval za vladára,
14 (UKJV) "And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor; "

15 (HEM) ואמר לה אלה מאניא שא אזל אחת המו בהיכלא די בירושלם ובית אלהא יתבנא על אתרה׃
15 (KAT) a povedal mu: »Vezmi tieto nádoby, choď a ulož ich v jeruzalemskom chráme! Nech sa stavia Boží dom na tom mieste, kde stál!«
15 (UKJV) And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be built in his place.

16 (HEM) אדין ששבצר דך אתא יהב אשיא די בית אלהא די בירושלם ומן אדין ועד כען מתבנא ולא שלם׃
16 (KAT) Nuž a tento Sasabasár došiel, postaral sa o základy jeruzalemského chrámu Božieho a odvtedy sa stavia dosiaľ, ale dostavaný nie je.«
16 (UKJV) Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now has it been in building, and yet it is not finished.

17 (HEM) וכען הן על מלכא טב יתבקר בבית גנזיא די מלכא תמה די בבבל הן איתי די מן כורש מלכא שים טעם למבנא בית אלהא דך בירושלם ורעות מלכא על דנה ישלח עלינא׃
17 (KAT) A tak teraz, ak kráľ uzná za dobré, nech sa pátra v kráľovskej klenotnici tam v Babylone, či je to tak, že kráľ Kýros vydal rozkaz stavať Boží chrám v Jeruzaleme. Nech nám teda kráľ pošle rozhodnutie v tejto veci!“
17 (UKJV) Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
