1 (SVD) فلما صلّى عزرا واعترف وهو باك وساقط امام بيت الله اجتمع اليه من اسرائيل جماعة كثيرة جدا من الرجال والنساء والاولاد لان الشعب بكى بكاء عظيما
1 (VUL) Dum ergo oraret Esdras et imploraret flens et prostratus ante templum Dei, collectus est ad eum de Israel coetus grandis nimis virorum et mulierum et puerorum; et flevit populus fletu multo.
1 (KAT) Kým sa Ezdráš modlil a kým sa vyznával s plačom, ležiac (dolu tvárou) pred Božím príbytkom, poschodil sa k nemu veľký zástup Izraelitov, mužov, žien a detí, a ľud plakal usedavým plačom.
1 (UKJV) Now when Ezra had prayed, and when he had confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation of men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.

2 (SVD) واجاب شكنيا بن يحيئيل من بني عيلام وقال لعزرا اننا قد خنّا الهنا واتخذنا نساء غريبة من شعوب الارض. ولكن الآن يوجد رجاء لاسرائيل في هذا.
2 (VUL) Et respondit Sechenias filius Iehiel de filiis Elam et dixit Esdrae: “ Nos praevaricati sumus in Deum nostrum et duximus uxores alienigenas de populis terrae. Nunc autem spes est in Israel super hoc:
2 (KAT) Vtedy sa ozval Šechaniáš, Jechielec z Elamových synov, a povedal Ezdrášovi: „Prehrešili sme sa proti svojmu Bohu tým, že sme si vzali za ženy cudzinky z národov krajiny. Ale ešte je nádej pre Izrael.
2 (UKJV) And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.

3 (SVD) فلنقطع الآن عهدا مع الهنا ان نخرج كل النساء والذين ولدوا منهنّ حسب مشورة سيدي والذين يخشون وصية الهنا وليعمل حسب الشريعة.
3 (VUL) percutiamus foedus cum Domino Deo nostro, ut proiciamus universas uxores et eos, qui de his nati sunt, iuxta voluntatem Domini et eorum, qui timent praeceptum Domini Dei nostri, et secundum legem fiat.
3 (KAT) Zaviažme sa teraz slávnostne svojmu Bohu, že zapudíme všetky ženy aj tých, ktorí sa z nich narodili, keď ty, pane, a tí, čo sa boja prikázania nášho Boha, odporúčate tak urobiť. Nech sa teda postupuje podľa zákona!
3 (UKJV) "Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law. "

4 (SVD) قم فان عليك الأمر ونحن معك. تشجع وافعل
4 (VUL) Surge, tuum est decernere, nosque erimus tecum; confortare et fac ”.
4 (KAT) Vstaň, lebo ty to musíš nariadiť, a my ti pomôžeme! Pusť sa mužne do toho!“
4 (UKJV) "Arise; for this matter belongs unto you: we also will be with you: be of good courage, and do it. "

5 (SVD) فقام عزرا واستحلف رؤساء الكهنة واللاويين وكل اسرائيل ان يعملوا حسب هذا الأمر فحلفوا.
5 (VUL) Surrexit ergo Esdras et fecit principes sacerdotum et Levitarum et omnem Israel iurare, ut facerent secundum verbum hoc, et iuraverunt.
5 (KAT) Ezdráš teda vstal a vyzval popredných kňazov, levitov a celú izraelskú pospolitosť, aby prisahali, že sa zaväzujú konať podľa tohto slova. A tak prisahali.
5 (UKJV) Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they swore.

6 (SVD) ثم قام عزرا من امام بيت الله وذهب الى مخدع يهوحانان بن الياشيب. فانطلق الى هناك وهو لم يأكل خبزا ولم يشرب ماء لانه كان ينوح بسبب خيانة اهل السبي.
6 (VUL) Et surrexit Esdras ante domum Dei et abiit ad cubiculum Iohanan filii Eliasib et pernoctavit ibi; panem non comedit et aquam non bibit, lugebat enim transgressionem eorum, qui venerant de captivitate.
6 (KAT) Ezdráš sa zdvihol spred Božieho domu, išiel do izby Eljašibovho syna Jochanana a tam prenocoval; ale nejedol chlieb a nepil vodu, lebo žialil pre hriech tých, čo prišli zo zajatia.
6 (UKJV) Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression of them that had been carried away.

7 (SVD) واطلقوا نداء في يهوذا واورشليم الى جميع بني السبي لكي يجتمعوا الى اورشليم.
7 (VUL) Et missa est vox in Iuda et in Ierusalem omnibus filiis transmigrationis, ut congregarentur in Ierusalem;
7 (KAT) Potom vyhlásili po Júdsku a po Jeruzaleme, aby sa všetci presťahovalci poschodili do Jeruzalema.
7 (UKJV) "And they made proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem unto all the children of the captivity, that they should gather themselves together unto Jerusalem; "

8 (SVD) وكل من لا يأتي في ثلاثة ايام حسب مشورة الرؤساء والشيوخ يحرّم كل ماله وهو يفرز من جماعة اهل السبي
8 (VUL) et omnis, qui non venerit in tribus diebus iuxta consilium principum et seniorum, auferetur universa substantia eius, et ipse abicietur de coetu transmigrationis.
8 (KAT) Každému, kto sa nedostaví do troch dní podľa uznesenia vrchnosti a starších, nech kliatba stihne celý jeho majetok a on sám nech je vylúčený z obce tých, čo prišli zo zajatia!
8 (UKJV) And that whosoever would not come within three days, according to the counsel of the princes and the elders, all his substance should be forfeited, and himself separated from the congregation of those that had been carried away.

9 (SVD) فاجتمع كل رجال يهوذا وبنيامين الى اورشليم في الثلاثة الايام اي في الشهر التاسع في العشرين من الشهر وجلس جميع الشعب في ساحة بيت الله مرتعدين من الأمر ومن الامطار.
9 (VUL) Convenerunt igitur omnes viri Iudae et Beniamin in Ierusalem tribus diebus, ipse est mensis nonus vicesimo die mensis, et sedit omnis populus in platea domus Dei, trementes pro peccato et pluviis.
9 (KAT) Do troch dní sa poschodili do Jeruzalema všetci mužovia (pokolenia) Júdovho a Benjamínovho. Bolo to v deviatom mesiaci, dvadsiateho toho mesiaca. Celý národ sedel na priestranstve pred Božím príbytkom a triasol sa pre samu vec i pre lejaky.
9 (UKJV) "Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of God, trembling because of this matter, and for the great rain. "

10 (SVD) فقام عزرا الكاهن وقال لهم. انكم قد خنتم واتخذتم نساء غريبة لتزيدوا على اثم اسرائيل.
10 (VUL) Et surrexit Esdras sacerdos et dixit ad eos: “ Vos transgressi estis et duxistis uxores alienigenas, ut adderetis super delictum Israel.
10 (KAT) Vtedy vstal kňaz Ezdráš a povedal im: „Prehrešili ste sa tým, že ste sa poženili s cudzinkami, a tak ste rozmnožili previnenie izraelského ľudu.
10 (UKJV) And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, All of you have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.

11 (SVD) فاعترفوا الآن للرب اله آبائكم واعملوا مرضاته وانفصلوا عن شعوب الارض وعن النساء الغريبة.
11 (VUL) Et nunc date confessionem Domino, Deo patrum vestrorum, et facite placitum eius et separamini a populis terrae et ab uxoribus alienigenis ”.
11 (KAT) Preto sa teraz vyznajte Pánovi, Bohu svojich otcov, urobte mu po vôli a oddeľte sa od národov tejto krajiny a od cudzineckých žien!“
11 (UKJV) Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

12 (SVD) فاجاب كل الجماعة وقالوا بصوت عظيم كما كلمتنا كذلك نعمل.
12 (VUL) Et respondit universa multitudo dixitque voce magna: “ Iuxta verbum tuum ad nos, sic fiat.
12 (KAT) Celé zhromaždenie odpovedalo veľkým hlasom: „Sme povinní urobiť tak, ako nám hovoríš.
12 (UKJV) Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As you have said, so must we do.

13 (SVD) الا ان الشعب كثير والوقت وقت امطار. ولا طاقة لنا على الوقوف في الخارج والعمل ليس ليوم واحد او لاثنين لاننا قد اكثرنا الذنب في هذا الأمر.
13 (VUL) Verumtamen quia populus multus est et tempus pluviae, et non sustinemus stare foris, et opus non est diei unius vel duorum — multi quippe peccavimus in sermone isto —
13 (KAT) Ale ľud je početný, je čas dažďov a nevydržíme stáť vonku, a potom to nie je práca na jeden deň ani na dva, lebo sme sa veľmi mnohí previnili v tejto veci,
13 (UKJV) But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without, neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed in this thing.

14 (SVD) فليقف رؤساؤنا لكل الجماعة وكل الذين في مدننا قد اتخذوا نساء غريبة فليأتوا في اوقات معينة ومعهم شيوخ مدينة فمدينة وقضاتها حتى يرتد عنا حمو غضب الهنا من اجل هذا الأمر.
14 (VUL) constituantur principes in universa multitudine; et omnes in civitatibus nostris, qui duxerunt uxores alienigenas, veniant in temporibus statutis, et cum his seniores per civitatem et civitatem et iudices eius, donec avertatur ira Dei nostri a nobis super peccato hoc ”.
14 (KAT) preto prosíme, nech naši predstavení zastupujú celú obec a všetci, čo sa v našich mestách poženili s cudzinkami, prídu v určenom čase so staršími a so sudcami jednotlivých miest, kým sa od nás neodvráti páľa hnevu nášho Boha pre túto vec.“
14 (UKJV) Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.

15 (SVD) ويوناثان بن عسائيل ويحزيا بن تقوة فقط قاما على هذا ومشلام وشبتاي اللاوي ساعداهما.
15 (VUL) Tantummodo Ionathan filius Asael et Iaasia filius Thecue steterunt contra hoc, et Mosollam et Sabethai Levites adiuverunt eos.
15 (KAT) Iba Azahelov syn Jonatán a Tikvov syn Jachziáš sa vzopreli proti tomu; Mešulam a levita Šabetai ich podporovali.
15 (UKJV) Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them.

16 (SVD) وفعل هكذا بنو السبي وانفصل عزرا الكاهن ورجال رؤوس آباء حسب بيوت آبائهم وجميعهم باسمائهم وجلسوا في اليوم الاول من الشهر العاشر للفحص عن الأمر.
16 (VUL) Feceruntque sic filii transmigrationis. Et elegit Esdras sacerdos viros principes familiarum iuxta domus patrum eorum, omnes autem per nomina eorum, et sederunt in die primo mensis decimi, ut quaererent rem.
16 (KAT) Ale presťahovalci urobili tak. Kňaz Ezdráš si vybral mužov, hlavy rodov podľa jednotlivých domov. Všetci boli zaznačení podľa mena. Oni zasadli v prvý deň desiateho mesiaca a skúmali tú vec.
16 (UKJV) And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.

17 (SVD) وانتهوا من كل الرجال الذين اتخذوا نساء غريبة في اليوم الاول من الشهر الاول
17 (VUL) Et absolverunt causam cunctorum, qui duxerant uxores alienigenas, intra diem primam mensis primi.
17 (KAT) Do prvého dňa prvého mesiaca skončili prípad všetkých, čo sa poženili s cudzinkami.
17 (UKJV) And they made an end with all the men that had taken strange wives by the first day of the first month.

18 (SVD) فوجد بين بني الكهنة من اتخذ نساء غريبة. فمن بني يشوع بن يوصاداق واخوته معشيا واليعزر وياريب وجدليا.
18 (VUL) Et inventi sunt de filiis sacerdotum, qui duxerant uxores alienigenas. De filiis Iesua filii Iosedec et de fratribus eius: Maasia et Eliezer et Iarib et Godolia;
18 (KAT) Vyšlo najavo, že z kňazských Synov si pobrali cudzie ženy títo: Zo synov Josadakovho syna Jozueho a z jeho bratov Maáseiáš, Eliezer, Jarib a Gedaliáš.
18 (UKJV) "And among the sons of the priests there were found that had taken strange wives: namely, of the sons of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah. "

19 (SVD) واعطوا ايديهم لاخراج نسائهم مقرّبين كبش غنم لاجل اثمهم.
19 (VUL) et dederunt manus suas, ut eicerent uxores suas et pro delicto suo arietem offerrent.
19 (KAT) Zaručili sa, že svoje ženy prepustia a že budú za svoj poklesok obetovať barana zo stáda.
19 (UKJV) "And they gave their hands that they would put away their wives; and being guilty, they offered a ram of the flock for their trespass. "

20 (SVD) ومن بني امير حناني وزبديا.
