1 (KJV) Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
1 (ROH) A synovia Izraelovi čo do svojho počtu, hlavy otcov a velitelia tisícov a stov a ich úradníci, ktorí slúžili kráľovi vo všetkých veciach oddelení, ktoré prichádzaly a odchádzaly mesiac po mesiaci, po všetky mesiace roka; jedného oddelenia bolo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

2 (KJV) Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
2 (ROH) Nad prvým oddelením prvého mesiaca bol Jašobám, syn Zabdielov, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

3 (KJV) Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
3 (ROH) Zo synov Fáresových bol jeden hlavou všetkým veliteľom vojsk, prvého mesiaca.

4 (KJV) And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
4 (ROH) A nad oddelením druhého mesiaca bol Achochovec Dodai, a vojvodom jeho oddelenia bol Miklot, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

5 (KJV) The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
5 (ROH) Veliteľom tretieho vojska tretieho mesiaca bol Benaiáš, syn Jehojadu, najvyššieho kňaza, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

6 (KJV) This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
6 (ROH) Ten istý Benaiáš bol hrdinom medzi tridsiatimi a nad tridsiatimi, a vojvodom jeho oddelenia bol Ammizabad, jeho syn.

7 (KJV) The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
7 (ROH) Štvrtého oddelenia štvrtého mesiaca bol veliteľom Azael, brat Joábov, a Zebadiáš, jeho syn, po ňom, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

8 (KJV) The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8 (ROH) Piateho oddelenia piateho mesiaca bol veliteľom Šamhút Jizrachitský, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

9 (KJV) The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9 (ROH) Šiesteho oddelenia šiesteho mesiaca bol veliteľom Híra, syn Ikkeša Tekoanského, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

10 (KJV) The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10 (ROH) Siedmeho oddelenia siedmeho mesiaca bol veliteľom Chelec Pelonský zo synov Efraimových, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

11 (KJV) The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
11 (ROH) Ôsmeho oddelenia ôsmeho mesiaca bol veliteľom Sibbechai Chušatský zo Zerachovcov, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

12 (KJV) The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
12 (ROH) Deviateho oddelenia deviateho mesiaca bol veliteľom Abiézer Anatótsky z Benjaminovcov, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

13 (KJV) The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
13 (ROH) Desiateho oddelenia desiateho mesiaca bol veliteľom Maharai Netofatský zo Zerachovcov, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

14 (KJV) The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
14 (ROH) Jedenásteho oddelenia jedenásteho mesiaca bol veliteľom Benaiáš Piratonský zo synov Efraimových, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

15 (KJV) The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15 (ROH) Dvanásteho oddelenia dvanásteho mesiaca bol veliteľom Cheldai Netofatský z Otniela, a na jeho oddelenie išlo dvadsaťštyri tisíc.

16 (KJV) Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
16 (ROH) Krome toho boli nad pokoleniami Izraelovými zvláštni vojvodovia; vojvodom Rúbenovcov bol Eliézer, syn Zichriho; Simeonovcov Šefatiáš, syn Maachu;

17 (KJV) Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
17 (ROH) Levitov Chašabiáš, syn Kemuelov; Áronovcov Cádok;

18 (KJV) Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
18 (ROH) synov Júdových Elihu z bratov Dávidových; Izachárovcov Omri, syn Michaelov;

19 (KJV) Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
19 (ROH) Zabulonovcov Jišmaiáš, syn Obadiášov; synov Naftaliho Jerimót, syn Azrielov;

20 (KJV) Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
20 (ROH) synov Efraimových Hozeáš, syn Azaziášov; polovice pokolenia Manassesovho Joel, syn Pedaiášov.

21 (KJV) Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
21 (ROH) druhej polovice pokolenia Manassesovho v Gileádsku Jiddo, syn Zachariášov; Benjaminovcov Jaasiel, syn Abnerov;

22 (KJV) Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
22 (ROH) Dánovcov Azarel, syn Jerochámov. To boli velitelia pokolení Izraelových.

23 (KJV) But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
23 (ROH) Ale Dávid ich nespočítal všetkých, tých, ktorí boli vo veku od dvadsať rokov niže, lebo Hospodin povedal, že rozmnoží Izraela jako hviezdy nebies.

24 (KJV) Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
24 (ROH) Joáb, syn Ceruje, bol započal počítať, ale nedokončil; lebo preto povstal hnev na Izraela, ani nebol zaznamenaný ten počet do počtu letopisov kráľa Dávida.

25 (KJV) And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
25 (ROH) A nad pokladmi kráľovými bol Azmávet, syn Adielov, a nad pokladmi na poli, v mestách a vo vsiach a baštách bol Jehonatán, syn Uziášov.

26 (KJV) And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
26 (ROH) Nad tými, ktorí robili prácu na poli obrábajúc zem, bol Ezri, syn Kelubov.

27 (KJV) And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
27 (ROH) Nad vinicami Šimei Rámatský a nad tým, čo bolo vo viniciach, nad pokladmi vína, Zabdi Šifemský.

28 (KJV) And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
28 (ROH) Nad olivami a nad sykomorami, ktoré boly na nížinách Bál-chanán Gederský a nad pokladmi oleja Joas.

29 (KJV) And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
29 (ROH) Nad veľkým statkom rožným pasúcich v Sárone Šitrai Sáronský a nad veľkým statkom rožným po dolinách Šafat, syn Adlaiho.

30 (KJV) Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
30 (ROH) Nad veľblúdami Obil Izmaelský a nad oslami Jechdeiáš Meronotský.

31 (KJV) And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
31 (ROH) A nad drobným stádom Jazíz Hagarský. Tí všetci boli správcami majetku, ktorý mal kráľ Dávid.

32 (KJV) Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counseller, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:
32 (ROH) A Jehonatán, strýc Dávidov, bol radcom, rozumný to muž, a pisárom, znalým písma, a Jechiel, syn Chachmoniho, bol so synmi kráľovými.

33 (KJV) And Ahithophel was the king's counseller: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:
33 (ROH) A Achitofel bol radcom kráľovým a Chúšai Arechitský priateľom kráľovým.

34 (KJV) And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.
34 (ROH) A po Achitofelovi bol Jehojada, syn Benaiášov, a Ebiatár, a veliteľom vojska kráľovho bol Joáb.
