1 (KJV) Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
1 (KAT) Synovia Izraela podľa ich počtu, pohlavári rodín, velitelia tisícok a stotín a ich pisári, ktorí boli k službám kráľovi podľa jednotlivých oddielov, ktoré v každom mesiaci roka, mesiac za mesiacom prichádzali a odchádzali - jeden oddiel bol dvadsaťštyritisíc.

2 (KJV) Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
2 (KAT) Nad prvým oddielom v prvom mesiaci bol Zabdielov syn Jesboam. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

3 (KJV) Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
3 (KAT) Bol z Fáresových synov, pohlavárom všetkých kniežat vojska v prvom mesiaci.

4 (KJV) And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
4 (KAT) Nad oddielom druhého mesiaca bol Ahohovec Dodai, (jeho oddiel a Makelot) knieža. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

5 (KJV) The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
5 (KAT) Veliteľom tretieho vojska v treťom mesiaci bol Banaiáš, syn kňaza Jojadu, pohlavár. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

6 (KJV) This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
6 (KAT) Tento Banaiáš bol hrdinom tridsiatich a nad tridsiatimi. Nad jeho oddielom bol jeho syn Amizabad.

7 (KJV) The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
7 (KAT) Štvrtý vo štvrtom mesiaci bol Joabov brat Asael a po ňom jeho syn Zabadiáš. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

8 (KJV) The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8 (KAT) Piaty v piatom mesiaci bol Jezrahita, knieža Samaot. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

9 (KJV) The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9 (KAT) Šiesty v šiestom mesiaci bol Hira, syn Tekuana Akesa. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

10 (KJV) The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10 (KAT) Siedmy v siedmom mesiaci bol Heles, Faloňan zo synov Efraima. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

11 (KJV) The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
11 (KAT) Ôsmy v ôsmom mesiaci bol Chusiťan Sobochai zo Zarahovcov. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

12 (KJV) The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
12 (KAT) Deviaty v deviatom mesiaci bol Anatoťan Abiezer z Benjamínovcov. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

13 (KJV) The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
13 (KAT) Desiaty v desiatom mesiaci bol Netofaťan Marai zo Zarahovcov. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

14 (KJV) The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
14 (KAT) Jedenásty v jedenástom mesiaci bol Faratoňan Banaiáš zo synov Efraima. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

15 (KJV) The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15 (KAT) Dvanásty v dvanástom mesiaci bol Netofaťan Holdai, Otnielovec. V jeho oddiele bolo dvadsaťštyritisíc.

16 (KJV) Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
16 (KAT) Nad kmeňmi Izraela boli: Nad Rubenovcami Zechriho syn, knieža Eliezer. Nad Simeonovcami Maáchov syn Safatiáš.

17 (KJV) Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:

18 (KJV) Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:

19 (KJV) Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
19 (KAT) Nad Zabulonovcami Abdiášov syn Jesmaiáš. Nad Neftalimovcami Ozrielov syn Jerimot.

20 (KJV) Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
20 (KAT) Nad Efraimovcami Ozaziášov syn Ozeáš. Nad polovicou Manassesovho kmeňa Fadaiášov syn Joel.

21 (KJV) Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
21 (KAT) Nad polovicou Manassesovho kmeňa v Galaáde Zachariášov syn Jado. Nad Benjamíncami Abnerov syn Jasiel.

22 (KJV) Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
22 (KAT) Nad Danovcami Jerohamov syn Ezrihel. To sú kniežatá izraelských kmeňov.

23 (KJV) But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
23 (KAT) Dávid nechcel spísať ich počet od dvadsaťročných nižšie, lebo Pán prisľúbil, že synov Izraela rozmnoží ako hviezdy na nebi.

24 (KJV) Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
24 (KAT) Joab, syn Sarvie, začal sčítanie, ale nedokončil ho, lebo preto prišiel hnev na Izraelitov. Preto sa ten počet ani nedostal medzi číslice Letopisov kráľa Dávida.

25 (KJV) And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
25 (KAT) Nad pokladmi kráľa bol Adielov syn Azmot, nad pokladmi však, ktoré boli na poli, v mestách, dedinách a vo vežiach, bol Oziášov syn Jonatán.

26 (KJV) And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
26 (KAT) Nad robotníkmi na poli, ktorí obrábali pôdu, bol Chelubov syn Ezri.

27 (KJV) And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
27 (KAT) Nad vinohradmi Semeiáš z Rámy, nad zásobami vína, ktoré boli vo vinohradoch, bol Zabdiáš zo Sefami.

28 (KJV) And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
28 (KAT) Nad olivami a sykomorami, ktoré boli na Nížine, bol Bálchanan z Gaderu, nad zásobami oleja Joas.

29 (KJV) And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
29 (KAT) Nad dobytkom, ktorý bol na paši v Sárone, bol Setrai zo Sáronu a nad dobytkom, ktorý bol v dolinách, bol Adliho syn Safat.

30 (KJV) Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
30 (KAT) Nad ťavami bol Izmaelita Ubil, nad oslami Jadiáš z Meronotu

31 (KJV) And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
31 (KAT) a nad ovcami Agarejec Jaziz. Títo všetci boli správcami majetku, ktorý mal kráľ Dávid.

32 (KJV) Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counseller, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:
32 (KAT) Dávidov strýc Jonatán, radca, múdry muž a pisár, s Hachomonovým synom Jahielom boli pri kráľových synoch.

33 (KJV) And Ahithophel was the king's counseller: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:
33 (KAT) Achitofel bol kráľovým poradcom a Arachita Chusai bol kráľovým priateľom.

34 (KJV) And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.
34 (KAT) Achitofelovým nástupcom bol Banaiášov syn Jojada a Abiatar. Kráľovým vojvodcom bol Joab.
