1 (KAT) Keď Božiu archu doniesli, postavili ju uprostred stanu, ktorý pre ňu postavil Dávid, a obetovali celopaly a pokojné obety pred Bohom.
1 (VUL) Attulerunt igitur arcam Dei et constituerunt eam in me dio tabernaculi, quod tetenderat ei David, et obtulerunt holocausta et pacifica coram Deo.
1 (UKJV) So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

2 (KAT) Keď Dávid dokončil celopaly a pokojné obety, požehnal ľud v Pánovom mene.
2 (VUL) Cumque complesset David offerens holocausta et pacifica, benedixit populo in nomine Domini.
2 (UKJV) And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

3 (KAT) Potom nadelil všetkým Izraelitom, mužom i ženám, každému bochník chleba, mäso (?) a hroznový koláč.
3 (VUL) Et divisit unicuique de Israel a viro usque ad mulierem tortam panis et laganum palmarum et palatham.
3 (UKJV) And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

4 (KAT) Potom z levitov ustanovil pred Pánovu archu služobníkov, aby pripomínali, oslavovali a vychvaľovali Pána, Izraelovho Boha.
4 (VUL) Constituitque coram arca Domini de Levitis ministros, qui recordarentur operum eius et glorificarent atque laudarent Dominum, Deum Israel:
4 (UKJV) And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

5 (KAT) Vedúcim bol Asaf, druhý po ňom Zachariáš, potom Jahiel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Matatiáš, Eliab, Banaiáš a Obededom. Jehiel hral na harfe a citare a Asaf na cimbale.
5 (VUL) Asaph principem et secundum eius Zachariam, porro Iehiel et Semiramoth et Iahiel et Matthathiam et Eliab et Banaiam et Obededom et Iehiel in organis psalterii et citharis, Asaph autem, ut cymbalis personaret,
5 (UKJV) "Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals; "

6 (KAT) Kňazi Banaiáš a Jeziel však ustavične trúbili pred Božou archou zmluvy.
6 (VUL) Banaiam vero et Iahaziel sacerdotes, ut canerent tubis iugiter coram arca foederis Dei.
6 (UKJV) Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 (KAT) V ten deň odovzdal Dávid do rúk Asafa a jeho bratov prvú oslavu Pána:
7 (VUL) In illo die, tunc fecit David prima vice confiteri Domino per manum Asaph et fratrum eius:
7 (UKJV) Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

8 (KAT) „Oslavujte Pána, vzývajte jeho meno, rozhlasujte jeho skutky medzi národmi.
8 (VUL) “ Confitemini Domino, invocate nomen eius, notas facite in populis opera eius.
8 (UKJV) Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

9 (KAT) Spievajte mu a hrajte, rozprávajte o jeho obdivuhodných skutkoch.
9 (VUL) Canite ei et psallite et narrate omnia mirabilia eius.
9 (UKJV) Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk all of you of all his wondrous works.

10 (KAT) Jeho svätým menom sa honoste; nech sa radujú srdcia tých, čo hľadajú Pána.
10 (VUL) Laudate nomen sanctum eius, laetetur cor quaerentium Dominum.
10 (UKJV) Glory all of you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

11 (KAT) Hľadajte Pána a jeho moc, hľadajte vždy jeho tvár.
11 (VUL) Quaerite Dominum et virtutem eius, quaerite faciem eius semper.
11 (UKJV) Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

12 (KAT) Pamätajte na divy, čo učinil, na jeho znamenia a na výroky jeho úst,
12 (VUL) Recordamini mirabilium eius, quae fecit, signorum illius et iudiciorum oris eius,
12 (UKJV) "Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; "

19 (UKJV) When all of you were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

20 (KAT) a od kmeňa prechodili ku kmeňu, z jedného kráľovstva k inému národu,
20 (VUL) Et transierunt de gente in gentem et de regno ad populum alterum;
20 (UKJV) "And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; "

21 (KAT) nedovolil, aby im niekto krivdil; i kráľov karhal kvôli nim:
21 (VUL) non dimisit quemquam calumniari eos, sed increpuit pro eis reges:
21 (UKJV) He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

22 (KAT) »Netýkajte sa mojich pomazaných, neubližujte mojim prorokom.«
22 (VUL) “Nolite tangere christos meos et in prophetis meis nolite malignari”.
22 (UKJV) Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

23 (KAT) Spievaj Pánovi, celá zem! Zvestujte jeho spásu deň čo deň.
23 (VUL) Canite Domino, omnis terra, annuntiate ex die in diem salutare eius.
23 (UKJV) "Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; show forth from day to day his salvation. "

24 (KAT) Ohláste jeho slávu pohanom a jeho zázraky všetkým národom.
24 (VUL) Narrate in gentibus gloriam eius, in cunctis populis mirabilia illius.
24 (UKJV) "Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. "

25 (KAT) Lebo veľký je Pán a veľkej chvály hoden, viac ako všetkých bohov treba sa ho báť.
25 (VUL) Quia magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis et horribilis super omnes deos;
25 (UKJV) For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

26 (KAT) Lebo ničoty sú všetci bohovia pohanov, ale Pán stvoril nebesia.
26 (VUL) omnes enim dii populorum inania, Dominus autem caelos fecit.
26 (UKJV) For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

27 (KAT) Vznešenosť a krása pred ním, moc a radosť tam, kde on je.
27 (VUL) Magnificentia et pulchritudo coram eo, fortitudo et gaudium in loco eius.
27 (UKJV) "Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. "

28 (KAT) Vzdávajte Pánovi, rodiny národov, vzdávajte Pánovi slávu a česť,
28 (VUL) Afferte Domino, familiae populorum afferte Domino gloriam et imperium;
28 (UKJV) Give unto the LORD, all of you families of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

29 (KAT) vzdávajte Pánovi slávu hodnu jeho mena. Prineste obetné dary a vstúpte pred jeho tvár, klaňajte sa Pánovi v posvätnom rúchu.
29 (VUL) date Domino gloriam nominis eius, levate oblationem et venite in conspectu eius et adorate Dominum in decore sancto.
29 (UKJV) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

30 (KAT) Nech sa pred ním chveje celá zem; on upevnil zemekruh, nepohne sa.
30 (VUL) Commoveatur a facie illius omnis terra; ipse enim fundavit orbem immobilem.
30 (UKJV) Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

31 (KAT) Tešte sa, nebesia, plesaj, zem; nech hlásajú medzi pohanmi: »Pán kraľuje!«
31 (VUL) Laetentur caeli, et exsultet terra, et dicant in nationibus: “Dominus regnat!”.
31 (UKJV) Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigns.

32 (KAT) Nech more zahučí a čo ho napĺňa, nech plesá pole a všetko, čo je na ňom.
32 (VUL) Tonet mare et plenitudo eius, exsultent agri et omnia, quae in eis sunt.
32 (UKJV) Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

33 (KAT) I zajasajú stromy lesa pred Pánom, že prichádza súdiť zem.
33 (VUL) Tunc laudabunt ligna saltus coram Domino, quia venit iudicare terram.
33 (UKJV) Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he comes to judge the earth.

34 (KAT) Oslavujte Pána, lebo je dobrý, lebo jeho milosrdenstvo trvá naveky.
34 (VUL) Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, quoniam in aeternum misericordia eius.
34 (UKJV) "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever. "

35 (KAT) Povedzte: »Zachráň nás, Bože, náš spasiteľ, zhromaždi a vysloboď nás z krajín pohanských, aby sme mohli tvoje sväté meno velebiť a honosiť sa tvojimi chválospevmi.
35 (VUL) Et dicite: “Salva nos, Deus salvator noster, et congrega nos et erue de gentibus, ut confiteamur nomini sancto tuo et exsultemus in carminibus tuis.
35 (UKJV) And say all of you, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.

36 (KAT) Nech je zvelebený Pán, Boh Izraela, od vekov až naveky.«“ A všetok ľud nech privolá: „Amen!“ a: „Chvála Pánovi!“
36 (VUL) Benedictus Dominus, Deus Israel, ab aeterno usque in aeternum” ”. Et dixit omnis populus: “ Amen! ” et “ Laus Domino! ”.
36 (UKJV) Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

38 (UKJV) "And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters: "

39 (KAT) Kňaza Sadoka a jeho bratov (nechal) ako kňazov pred Pánovým príbytkom na výšine, ktorá bola v Gabaone,
39 (VUL) Sadoc autem sacerdotem et fratres illius sacerdotes coram habitaculo Domini in excelso, quod erat in Gabaon,
39 (UKJV) And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40 (KAT) aby na zápalnom oltári ustavične ráno i večer prinášali Pánovi celopaly podľa všetkého toho, čo je napísané v Pánovom zákone, ktorý uložil Izraelu.
40 (VUL) ut offerrent holocausta Domino super altare holocautomatis iugiter, mane et vespere, iuxta omnia, quae scripta sunt in lege Domini, quam praecepit Israeli.
40 (UKJV) "To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; "

41 (KAT) A s nimi Hemana a Idutuna a ostatných vybraných, ktorí boli vypočítaní podľa mien, aby oslavovali Pána, lebo jeho milosrdenstvo trvá naveky.
41 (VUL) Et cum eis Heman et Idithun et reliquos electos, qui nominatim memorati sunt ad confitendum Domino: “ Quoniam in aeternum misericordia eius ”.
41 (UKJV) "And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endures for ever; "

42 (KAT) A u nich, u Hemana a Idutuna, trúby a cimbaly, aby hrali na nich a na všetkých Božích hudobných nástrojoch. Idutunových synov (ustanovil) k bráne.
42 (VUL) Et cum eis Heman et Idithun canentes tuba et quatientes cymbala bene sonantia et omnia musicorum organa ad canendum Deo; filios autem Idithun fecit esse portarios.
42 (UKJV) And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

43 (KAT) Potom odišiel všetok ľud, každý do svojho domu, a Dávid sa vrátil požehnať svoj dom.
43 (VUL) Reversusque est omnis populus unusquisque in domum suam et David, ut benediceret etiam domui suae.
43 (UKJV) And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
