1 (UKJV) So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
1 (LS) Après qu'on eut amené l'arche de Dieu, on la plaça au milieu de la tente que David avait dressée pour elle, et l'on offrit devant Dieu des holocaustes et des sacrifices d'actions de grâces.

2 (UKJV) And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
2 (LS) Quand David eut achevé d'offrir les holocaustes et les sacrifices d'actions de grâces, il bénit le peuple au nom de l'Eternel.

3 (UKJV) And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
3 (LS) Puis il distribua à tous ceux d'Israël, hommes et femmes, à chacun un pain, une portion de viande et un gâteau de raisins.

4 (UKJV) And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
4 (LS) Il remit à des Lévites la charge de faire le service devant l'arche de l'Eternel, d'invoquer, de louer et de célébrer l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël.

5 (UKJV) "Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals; "
5 (LS) C'étaient: Asaph, le chef; Zacharie, le second après lui, Jeïel, Schemiramoth, Jehiel, Matthithia, Eliab, Benaja, Obed-Edom et Jeïel. Ils avaient des instruments de musique, des luths et des harpes; et Asaph faisait retentir les cymbales.

6 (UKJV) Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
6 (LS) Les sacrificateurs Benaja et Jachaziel sonnaient continuellement des trompettes devant l'arche de l'alliance de Dieu.

7 (UKJV) Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
7 (LS) Ce fut en ce jour que David chargea pour la première fois Asaph et ses frères de célébrer les louanges de l'Eternel.

8 (UKJV) Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
8 (LS) Louez l'Eternel, invoquez son nom! Faites connaître parmi les peuples ses hauts faits!

9 (UKJV) Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk all of you of all his wondrous works.
9 (LS) Chantez, chantez en son honneur! Parlez de toutes ses merveilles!

10 (UKJV) Glory all of you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
10 (LS) Glorifiez-vous de son saint nom! Que le coeur de ceux qui cherchent l'Eternel se réjouisse!

11 (UKJV) Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
11 (LS) Ayez recours à l'Eternel et à son appui, Cherchez continuellement sa face!

12 (UKJV) "Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; "
12 (LS) Souvenez-vous des prodiges qu'il a faits, De ses miracles et des jugements de sa bouche,

13 (UKJV) O all of you seed of Israel his servant, all of you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
13 (LS) Race d'Israël, son serviteur, Enfants de Jacob, ses élus!

14 (UKJV) "He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. "
14 (LS) L'Eternel est notre Dieu; Ses jugements s'exercent sur toute la terre.

15 (UKJV) "Be all of you mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; "
15 (LS) Rappelez-vous à toujours son alliance, Ses promesses pour mille générations,

16 (UKJV) "Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; "
16 (LS) L'alliance qu'il a traitée avec Abraham, Et le serment qu'il a fait à Isaac;

17 (UKJV) And has confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
17 (LS) Il l'a érigée pour Jacob en loi, Pour Israël en alliance éternelle,

18 (UKJV) "Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; "
18 (LS) Disant: Je te donnerai le pays de Canaan Comme l'héritage qui vous est échu.

19 (UKJV) When all of you were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.
19 (LS) Ils étaient alors peu nombreux, Très peu nombreux, et étrangers dans le pays,

20 (UKJV) "And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; "
20 (LS) Et ils allaient d'une nation à l'autre Et d'un royaume vers un autre peuple;

21 (UKJV) He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
21 (LS) Mais il ne permit à personne de les opprimer, Et il châtia des rois à cause d'eux:

22 (UKJV) Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
22 (LS) Ne touchez pas à mes oints, Et ne faites pas de mal à mes prophètes!

23 (UKJV) "Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; show forth from day to day his salvation. "
23 (LS) Chantez à l'Eternel, vous tous habitants de la terre! Annoncez de jour en jour son salut;

24 (UKJV) "Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. "
24 (LS) Racontez parmi les nations sa gloire, Parmi tous les peuples ses merveilles!

25 (UKJV) For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
25 (LS) Car l'Eternel est grand et très digne de louange, Il est redoutable par-dessus tous les dieux;

26 (UKJV) For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
26 (LS) Car tous les dieux des peuples sont des idoles, Et l'Eternel a fait les cieux.

27 (UKJV) "Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. "
27 (LS) La majesté et la splendeur sont devant sa face, La force et la joie sont dans sa demeure.

28 (UKJV) Give unto the LORD, all of you families of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
28 (LS) Familles des peuples, rendez à l'Eternel, Rendez à l'Eternel gloire et honneur!

29 (UKJV) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
29 (LS) Rendez à l'Eternel gloire pour son nom! Apportez des offrandes et venez en sa présence, Prosternez-vous devant l'Eternel avec de saints ornements!

30 (UKJV) Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
30 (LS) Tremblez devant lui, vous tous habitants de la terre! Le monde est affermi, il ne chancelle point.

31 (UKJV) Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigns.
31 (LS) Que les cieux se réjouissent, et que la terre soit dans l'allégresse! Que l'on dise parmi les nations: L'Eternel règne!

32 (UKJV) Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
32 (LS) Que la mer retentisse avec tout ce qu'elle contient! Que la campagne s'égaie avec tout ce qu'elle renferme!

33 (UKJV) Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he comes to judge the earth.
33 (LS) Que les arbres des forêts poussent des cris de joie Devant l'Eternel! Car il vient pour juger la terre.

34 (UKJV) "O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever. "
34 (LS) Louez l'Eternel, car il est bon, Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours!

35 (UKJV) And say all of you, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.
35 (LS) Dites: Sauve-nous, Dieu de notre salut, Rassemble-nous, et retire-nous du milieu des nations, Afin que nous célébrions ton saint nom Et que nous mettions notre gloire à te louer!

36 (UKJV) Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
36 (LS) Béni soit l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, D'éternité en éternité! Et que tout le peuple dise: Amen! Louez l'Eternel!

37 (UKJV) So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
37 (LS) David laissa là, devant l'arche de l'alliance de l'Eternel, Asaph et ses frères, afin qu'ils fussent continuellement de service devant l'arche, remplissant leur tâche jour par jour.

38 (UKJV) "And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters: "
38 (LS) Il laissa Obed-Edom et Hosa avec leurs frères, au nombre de soixante-huit, Obed-Edom, fils de Jeduthun, et Hosa, comme portiers.

39 (UKJV) And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
39 (LS) Il établit le sacrificateur Tsadok et les sacrificateurs, ses frères, devant le tabernacle de l'Eternel, sur le haut lieu qui était à Gabaon,

40 (UKJV) "To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel; "
40 (LS) pour qu'ils offrissent continuellement à l'Eternel des holocaustes, matin et soir, sur l'autel des holocaustes, et qu'ils accomplissent tout ce qui est écrit dans la loi de l'Eternel, imposée par l'Eternel à Israël.

41 (UKJV) "And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endures for ever; "
41 (LS) Auprès d'eux étaient Héman et Jeduthun, et les autres qui avaient été choisis et désignés par leurs noms pour louer l'Eternel. Car sa miséricorde dure à toujours.

42 (UKJV) And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.
42 (LS) Auprès d'eux étaient Héman et Jeduthun, avec des trompettes et des cymbales pour ceux qui les faisaient retentir, et avec des instruments pour les cantiques en l'honneur de Dieu. Les fils de Jeduthun étaient portiers.

43 (UKJV) And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
43 (LS) Tout le peuple s'en alla chacun dans sa maison, et David s'en retourna pour bénir sa maison.
