1 (KAT) Manasses mal dvanásť rokov, keď začal kraľovať, a päťdesiatpäť rokov kraľoval v Jeruzaleme. Meno jeho matky bolo Hafsiba.

6 (KAT) Previedol svojho syna cez oheň, zaoberal sa veštením a čarodejníctvom, obstaral si vyvolávačov duchov a hádačov, robil teda množstvo vecí, ktoré sa Pánovi nepáčia, aby ho popudzoval.
6 (VUL) et traduxit filium suum per ignem et hariolatus est et observavit auguria et constituit pythones et haruspices multiplicavit, ut faceret malum coram Domino et irritaret eum.
6 (UKJV) And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

7 (UKJV) And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

10 (VUL) Locutusque est Dominus in manu servorum suorum prophetarum dicens:
10 (UKJV) And the LORD spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,

11 (KAT) „Pretože Manasses, kráľ Júdu, páchal tieto ohavnosti a konal horšie, než konali pred ním Amorejčania, ba svojimi modlami zviedol aj Júdu na hriech,
11 (VUL) “ Quia fecit Manasses rex Iudae abominationes istas pessimas super omnia, quae fecerunt Amorraei ante eum, et peccare fecit etiam Iudam in idolis suis,
11 (UKJV) Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, and has done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12 (KAT) toto hovorí Pán, Boh Izraela: Hľa, ja privediem nešťastie na Jeruzalem a na Júdu, že každému, kto bude o tom počuť, bude cvendžať v obidvoch ušiach.
12 (VUL) propterea haec dicit Dominus, Deus Israel: Ecce ego inducam mala super Ierusalem et Iudam, ut quicumque audierit, tinniant ambae aures eius.
12 (UKJV) Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever hears of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13 (KAT) A na Jeruzalem roztiahnem mieru Samárie a váhu Achabovho domu a Jeruzalem vytriem, ako sa vytiera misa: vyutiera sa a obráti hore dnom.

16 (KAT) Manasses vylieval aj nevinnú krv v takom veľkom množstve, že vrchom naplnila Jeruzalem, okrem hriechu, na ktorý naviedol Júdu, keď robil, čo sa Pánovi nepáči.
16 (VUL) Insuper et sanguinem innoxium fudit Manasses multum nimis, donec impleret Ierusalem usque ad summum, absque peccatis suis, quibus peccare fecit Iudam, ut faceret malum coram Domino.
16 (UKJV) "Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD. "

18 (KAT) Potom sa Manasses uložil k svojim otcom a pochovali ho v záhrade jeho domu, v záhrade Ozu. Namiesto neho sa stal kráľom jeho syn Amon.
18 (VUL) Dormivitque Manasses cum patribus suis et sepultus est in horto domus suae, in horto Oza; et regnavit Amon filius eius pro eo.
18 (UKJV) And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his position.

19 (KAT) Amon mal dvadsaťdva rokov, keď sa stal kráľom, a dva roky kraľoval v Jeruzaleme. Meno jeho matky bolo Mesalemet, dcéra Harusa z Jeteby.
19 (VUL) Viginti et duo annorum erat Amon, cum regnare coepisset, duobusque annis regnavit in Ierusalem. Nomen matris eius Mesallemeth filia Harus de Ieteba.
19 (UKJV) Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

22 (UKJV) And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

23 (UKJV) And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.
