1 (KAT) V štyristoosemdesiatom roku po východe synov Izraela z egyptskej krajiny, vo štvrtom roku Šalamúnovho kraľovania nad Izraelom, v mesiaci ziv - to je druhý mesiac - začal stavať Pánovi dom.
1 (VUL) Factum est igitur quadringente simo et octogesimo anno egres sionis filiorum Israel de terra Aegypti, in anno quarto, mense Ziv — ipse est mensis secundus — regni Salomonis super Israel, aedificare coepit domum Domino.
1 (UKJV) And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

2 (KAT) Dĺžka chrámu, ktorý kráľ Šalamún staval Pánovi, bola šesťdesiat lakťov, jeho šírka dvadsať a jeho výška tridsať lakťov.
2 (VUL) Domus autem, quam aedificabat rex Salomon Domino, habebat sexaginta cubitos in longitudine et viginti cubitos in latitudine et triginta cubitos in altitudine.
2 (UKJV) And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.

3 (KAT) Predsieň pred budovou chrámu mala dĺžku dvadsať lakťov pred šírkou chrámu, šírku desať lakťov pred dĺžkou chrámu.
3 (VUL) Et porticus erat ante templum viginti cubitorum longitudinis iuxta mensuram latitudinis templi et habebat decem cubitos latitudinis ante faciem templi.
3 (UKJV) "And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house. "

4 (KAT) Na chráme dal urobiť husto zamrežované okná.
4 (VUL) Fecitque in templo fenestras cum marginibus et cancellis.
4 (UKJV) And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

5 (KAT) K múrom domu dookola primuroval prístavby, k múrom domu okolo budovy aj príbytku a dookola vybudoval poschodia.
5 (VUL) Et aedificavit contra parietem templi tabulata per gyrum in parietibus domus per circuitum templi et Dabir et fecit latera in circuitu.
5 (UKJV) And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:

6 (KAT) Spodná prístavba bola päť lakťov široká, stredná šesť lakťov široká a tretia sedem lakťov široká, lebo na múroch chrámu urobil zvonku dookola výstupky, aby nemusel rýpať múry domu.
6 (VUL) Tabulatum, quod subter erat, quinque cubitos habebat latitudinis et medium tabulatum sex cubitorum latitudinis et tertium tabulatum septem habens cubitos latitudinis; gradus enim posuit in domo per circuitum forinsecus, ut non ingrederentur trabes in muros templi.
6 (UKJV) The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.

8 (VUL) Ostium lateris inferioris in parte erat domus dextrae, et per cochleam ascendebant in medium latus et a medio in tertium.
8 (UKJV) The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

9 (KAT) Keď dokončil vymurovanie domu, pokryl ho cédrovými hradami a doskami.
9 (VUL) Et aedificavit domum et consummavit eam; texit quoque domum laquearibus cedrinis.
9 (UKJV) "So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar. "

10 (KAT) Prístavby k celému domu primuroval vo výške päť lakťov a spojil ich s domom cédrovými hradami.
10 (VUL) Aedificavit ergo stratum contra omnem domum quinque cubitis altitudinis et iunxit domui lignis cedrinis.
10 (UKJV) And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

11 (KAT) Vtedy Pán oslovil Šalamúna:
11 (VUL) Et factus est sermo Domini ad Salomonem dicens:
11 (UKJV) And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,

12 (KAT) „O tomto dome, ktorý mi staviaš, (vedz): Ak budeš kráčať podľa mojich prikázaní, plniť moje ustanovenia a zachovávať všetky moje príkazy a budeš sa podľa nich riadiť, na tebe splním svoje prisľúbenia, ktoré som dal tvojmu otcovi Dávidovi.
12 (VUL) “ Domus haec, quam aedificas, si ambulaveris in praeceptis meis et iudicia mea feceris et custodieris omnia mandata mea gradiens per ea, firmabo sermonem meum tibi, quem locutus sum ad David patrem tuum;
12 (UKJV) "Concerning this house which you are in building, if you will walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with you, which I spoke unto David your father: "

13 (KAT) Budem bývať uprostred synov Izraela a neopustím svoj ľud izraelský.“

13 (UKJV) And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

15 (UKJV) And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the ceiling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.

16 (KAT) Dvadsať lakťov od zadného múru domu postavil z cédrových dosiek priečku od dlážky až po hrady. Tak vytvoril vnútri príbytok, čiže veľsvätyňu.
16 (VUL) Aedificavitque viginti cubitorum a posteriore parte templi tabulis cedrinis a pavimento usque ad superiora; et fecit ei intrinsecus Dabir, id est sancta sanctorum.
16 (UKJV) And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.

17 (KAT) Sám chrám pred ňou bol dlhý štyridsať lakťov.
17 (VUL) Porro quadraginta cubitorum erat ipsum templum ante illud.
17 (UKJV) And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.

18 (KAT) Znútra bol teda dom cédrový s rezbami kolokvintových ružíc a pootvorených kvetov. Všetko bolo z cédra, kameň vidieť nebolo.
18 (VUL) Et cedrus in domo intrinsecus sculptas habebat colocynthidas et calices apertos florum. Omnia cedrinis tabulis vestiebantur, nec omnino lapis apparere poterat in pariete.
18 (UKJV) "And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen. "

19 (KAT) Dnu, vnútri domu, urobil príbytok, kde mali uložiť Pánovu archu zmluvy.

20 (UKJV) "And the oracle in the front part was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar. "

21 (KAT) Potom Šalamún obtiahol aj chrám znútra rýdzim zlatom a platne pripevnil zlatými klincami.
21 (VUL) Domum quoque operuit Salomon intrinsecus auro purissimo et posuit catenas aureas ante Dabir.
21 (UKJV) "So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold. "

22 (KAT) A tak celý dom obtiahol zlatom, úplne celý dom. Aj celý oltár, ktorý bol pred príbytkom, obtiahol zlatom.
22 (VUL) Nihilque erat in templo, quod non auro tegeretur; sed et totum altare Dabir texit auro.
22 (UKJV) And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.

23 (KAT) Potom dal v príbytku urobiť dvoch cherubov z olivového dreva. Ich výška bola desať lakťov.
23 (VUL) Et fecit in Dabir duos cherubim de lignis oleastri decem cubitorum altitudinis.
23 (UKJV) And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.

24 (KAT) Päť lakťov bolo jedno krídlo a päť lakťov druhé krídlo cheruba: desať lakťov od konca jedného krídla po koniec druhého krídla.
24 (VUL) Quinque cubitorum ala cherub una et quinque cubitorum ala cherub altera, id est decem cubitos habentes a summitate alae unius usque ad alae alterius summitatem.
24 (UKJV) And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.

25 (KAT) Aj druhý cherub mal desať lakťov; obaja cherubi mali rovnaké rozmery a rovnaký tvar.
25 (VUL) Decem quoque cubitorum erat cherub secundus, mensura par et effigies una erat duobus cherubim;
25 (UKJV) And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.

26 (UKJV) The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.

27 (KAT) Cherubov umiestil dnu, do najvnútornejšieho domu. Cherubi mali roztiahnuté krídla: krídlo jedného sa dotýkalo steny a krídlo druhého cheruba sa dotýkalo druhej steny a vprostred chrámu sa im krídla dotýkali vzájomne.
27 (VUL) Posuitque cherubim in medio templi interioris; extendebant autem alas suas cherubim, et tangebat ala una parietem et ala cherub secundi tangebat parietem alterum; alae autem alterae in media parte templi se invicem contingebant.
27 (UKJV) "And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. "

28 (KAT) Aj cherubov obtiahol zlatom.

29 (KAT) Na všetky steny chrámu dookola dal povyrezávať rezby v podobe cherubov, paliem a polootvorených kvetov vo vnútornej i vonkajšej budove.
29 (VUL) Et omnes parietes templi per circuitum scalpsit variis caelaturis; et fecit in eis cherubim et palmas et calices apertos florum intrinsecus et foras.
29 (UKJV) And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.

30 (KAT) Aj podlahu domu obtiahol zlatom vo vnútornej i vonkajšej budove.
30 (VUL) Sed et pavimentum domus texit auro intrinsecus et extrinsecus.
30 (UKJV) And the floors of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.

31 (KAT) Na vchod do príbytku urobil dvere z olivového dreva, veraje boli päťuholníkové.
31 (VUL) Et pro ingressu Dabir fecit valvas de lignis oleastri postesque cum marginibus quinque.
31 (UKJV) And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.

32 (KAT) Obe krídla dverí boli z olivového dreva. Dal na ne povyrezávať rezby v podobe cherubov, paliem a polootvorených kvetov a obtiahol ich zlatom; totiž cherubov i palmy potiahol zlatom.
32 (VUL) Et in duabus valvis de lignis oleastri scalpsit cherubim et palmas et calices apertos florum et vestivit ea auro operiens tam cherubim quam palmas et cetera auro.
32 (UKJV) "The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees. "

35 (UKJV) And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.

36 (UKJV) And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.

37 (KAT) Vo štvrtom roku v mesiaci ziv boli položené základy Pánovho domu.
37 (VUL) Anno quarto fundata est domus Domini in mense Ziv;
37 (UKJV) In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:

38 (KAT) A v jedenástom roku v mesiaci bul - to je ôsmy mesiac - bol dom dokončený so všetkým svojím náradím a príslušenstvom. Staval ho sedem rokov.
38 (VUL) et in anno undecimo, mense Bul — ipse est mensis octavus — perfecta est domus in omni opere suo et in universis utensilibus; aedificavitque eam annis septem.
38 (UKJV) And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
