1 (KJV) And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.
1 (ROH) A stalo sa štyristo osemdesiateho roku po vyjdení synov Izraelových z Egyptskej zeme, štvrtého roku, mesiaca zíva, ktorý je druhý mesiac, kraľovania Šalamúnovho nad Izraelom, že začal staväť dom Hospodinovi.

2 (KJV) And the house which king Solomon built for the LORD, the length thereof was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.
2 (ROH) A dom, ktorý staväl kráľ Šalamún Hospodinovi, bol šesťdesiat lakťov dlhý, dvadsať široký a tridsať lakťov vysoký.

3 (KJV) And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was the breadth thereof before the house.
3 (ROH) Sieň pred chrámom domu bola dvadsať lakťov dlhá, pred šírkou domu, desať lakťov široká, pred domom.

4 (KJV) And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.
4 (ROH) A spravil domu obloky, zvonku široké, do vnútra úžené.

5 (KJV) And against the wall of the house he built chambers round about, against the walls of the house round about, both of the temple and of the oracle: and he made chambers round about:
5 (ROH) A pribudoval na stenu domu prístavok naokolo, na steny domu naokolo chrámu i svätyne svätých, a narobil izieb dookola.

6 (KJV) The nethermost chamber was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad: for without in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests round about, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house.
6 (ROH) Spodný prístavok bol vnútri päť lakťov široký, stredný bol šesť lakťov široký, a tretí bol sedem lakťov široký, pretože dal porobiť ústupky na stene domu zvonku naokolo, aby hrady nedržaly vo stenách domu.

7 (KJV) And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
7 (ROH) A dom, keď bol staväný, staväný bol z hotového kameňa, už tak dopraveného z lomu, a tak ani kladiva ani sekery ani vôbec nijakého nástroja železného nebolo počuť pri dome, keď bol staväný.

8 (KJV) The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
8 (ROH) Dvere do strednej izby boly na pravej strane domu, a po točitých schodoch chodili hore do strednej a zo strednej hore do tretej.

9 (KJV) So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar.
9 (ROH) A tak staväl dom i dokonal ho a pokryl dom hradami a cedrovými doskami.

10 (KJV) And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: and they rested on the house with timber of cedar.
10 (ROH) A vystavil prístavbu k celému domu; päť lakťov bola jej výška, a držala sa domu cedrovými hradami.

11 (KJV) And the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying,
11 (ROH) A stalo sa slovo Hospodinovo k Šalamúnovi povediac:

12 (KJV) Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:
12 (ROH) Čo do tohoto domu, ktorý staviaš, ak budeš chodiť v mojich ustanoveniach a budeš činiť moje súdy a ostríhať všetky moje prikázania chodiac v nich, postavím svoje slovo pri tebe, ktoré som hovoril Dávidovi, tvojmu otcovi.

13 (KJV) And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
13 (ROH) A budem bývať prostred synov Izraelových a neopustím svojho ľudu Izraela.

14 (KJV) So Solomon built the house, and finished it.
14 (ROH) A tedy Šalamún staväl dom i dostavil ho.

15 (KJV) And he built the walls of the house within with boards of cedar, both the floor of the house, and the walls of the cieling: and he covered them on the inside with wood, and covered the floor of the house with planks of fir.
15 (ROH) A vystavil steny domu vnútri z cedrových dosiek; od podlahy domu až po steny stropu pokryl drevom vnútri, a podlahu domu pokryl jedľovými doskami.

16 (KJV) And he built twenty cubits on the sides of the house, both the floor and the walls with boards of cedar: he even built them for it within, even for the oracle, even for the most holy place.
16 (ROH) A tedy vystavil tých dvanásť lakťov steny od zadnej časti domu z cedrových dosiek, od podlahy až po steny, a vystavil mu to, totiž domu, vnútri za príbytok Boží, za svätyňu svätých.

17 (KJV) And the house, that is, the temple before it, was forty cubits long.
17 (ROH) Dom bol na štyridsať lakťov; to bol predný chrám.

18 (KJV) And the cedar of the house within was carved with knops and open flowers: all was cedar; there was no stone seen.
18 (ROH) A tedy cedrina bola na dome zvnútra, rezby v podobe divých uhoriek a otvorených kvetov. Všetko to bola cedrina; nebolo vidieť kameňa.

19 (KJV) And the oracle he prepared in the house within, to set there the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
19 (ROH) A príbytok, svätyňu svätých, pripravil vnútri prostred domu, aby ta dal truhlu smluvy Hospodinovej.

20 (KJV) And the oracle in the forepart was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
20 (ROH) Vnútro svätyne svätých malo dvadsať lakťov dĺžky, dvadsať lakťov šírky a dvadsať lakťov svojej výšky, a pokryl ho čistým zlatom a pokryl aj cedrový oltár.

21 (KJV) So Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold: and he made a partition by the chains of gold before the oracle; and he overlaid it with gold.
21 (ROH) A tedy Šalamún pokryl dom zvnútra čistým zlatom a vnútro svätyne svätých povliekol zlatými reťazmi a tak tedy ju pokryl zlatom.

22 (KJV) And the whole house he overlaid with gold, until he had finished all the house: also the whole altar that was by the oracle he overlaid with gold.
22 (ROH) A pokryl celý dom zlatom až i dokonal celý dom, i celý oltár, ktorý patril svätyni svätých, pokryl zlatom.

23 (KJV) And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree, each ten cubits high.
23 (ROH) A v svätyni svätých spravil dvoch cherubov z olivového dreva; obidvoch výšky bolo po desiatich lakťoch.

24 (KJV) And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits.
24 (ROH) Päť lakťov bolo jedno krýdlo cheruba, a päť lakťov bolo druhé krýdlo cheruba; desať lakťov bolo od konca jeho jedného krýdla po koniec jeho druhého krýdla.

25 (KJV) And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size.
25 (ROH) A taktiež i druhý cherub bol na desať lakťov, jednu a tú istú mieru a jednu a tú istú podobu mali obidvaja cherubi.

26 (KJV) The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.
26 (ROH) Výška jedného cheruba bola desať lakťov a tak i druhého cheruba.

27 (KJV) And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house.
27 (ROH) A dal cherubov doprostred vnútorného domu, a roztiahli krýdla cherubov tak, že krýdlo jedného sa dotýkalo jednej steny, a krýdlo druhého cheruba sa dotýkalo druhej steny, a čo do ich krýdel vystretých doprostred domu, dotýkali sa; krýdlo sa dotýkalo krýdla.

28 (KJV) And he overlaid the cherubims with gold.
28 (ROH) A pokryl cherubov zlatom.

29 (KJV) And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.
29 (ROH) A všetky steny domu dookola vyzdobil rytými rezbami cherubov, paliem, rozvitých kvetov zvnútra i zvonku.

30 (KJV) And the floor of the house he overlaid with gold, within and without.
30 (ROH) A podlahu domu pokryl zlatom zvnútra i zvonku, pred cherubínmi i za nimi.

31 (KJV) And for the entering of the oracle he made doors of olive tree: the lintel and side posts were a fifth part of the wall.
31 (ROH) A za vchod do svätyne svätých spravil dvere z olivového dreva; stĺpec podvojí pätina steny.

32 (KJV) The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
32 (ROH) Obe krýdla dvier boly z olivového dreva, na ktorých vyrezal rezby cherubov, paliem a rozvitých kvetov a pokryl zlatom a potiahol i cherubov i palmy zlatom.

33 (KJV) So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
33 (ROH) Tak spravil i vchodu do chrámu, podvoje z olivového dreva zo štvrtiny steny.

34 (KJV) And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.
34 (ROH) A bolo to dvoje krýdel dverí z jedľového dreva. Dve dosky tvorily jedno krýdlo dverí, ktoré sa otáčaly, a dve dosky tvorily druhé krýdlo dverí, ktoré sa tiež otáčaly.

35 (KJV) And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
35 (ROH) A vyrezal na nich cherubov, palmy a rozvinuté kvety a pokryl zlatom, patrične po rezbách.

36 (KJV) And he built the inner court with three rows of hewed stone, and a row of cedar beams.
36 (ROH) A vystavil vnútorný dvor tri rady stĺpov z tesaného kameňa a jeden rad tesaných stĺpov cedrových.

37 (KJV) In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif:
37 (ROH) Štvrtého roku bol založený dom Hospodinov, v mesiaci zíve,

38 (KJV) And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.
38 (ROH) a jedenásteho roku, v mesiaci búle, ktorý to mesiac je ôsmy mesiac, dom bol dokonaný so všetkými svojimi vecami a so všetkými svojimi príslušnosťami. A staväl ho sedem rokov.
