1. kniha kráľov

Biblia - Sväté písmo

(KAT - Katolícky preklad)

1Kr 22, 1-54

1 (KAT) Tri roky žili v pokoji, nebolo vojny medzi Aramejčanmi a medzi Izraelitmi.
1 (UKJV) And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

2 (UKJV) And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

3 (KAT) Vtedy kráľ Izraela povedal svojim poddaným: „Viete vy, že Ramot v Galaáde patrí nám? A my sa nehneme vziať si ho z moci aramejského kráľa.“
3 (UKJV) And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know all of you that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

4 (VUL) Et ait ad Iosaphat: “ Veniesne mecum ad proeliandum in Ramoth Galaad? ”.
4 (UKJV) And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Will you go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.

5 (UKJV) And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray you, at the word of the LORD to day.

6 (KAT) Nato kráľ Izraela zhromaždil prorokov, približne štyristo mužov, a spýtal sa ich: „Mám ísť do vojny proti Ramotu v Galaáde? Alebo to mám nechať?“ Odpovedali: „Tiahni! Pán ho dá do ruky kráľa!“
6 (VUL) Congregavit ergo rex Israel prophetas quadringentos circiter viros et ait ad eos: “ Ire debeo in Ramoth Galaad ad bellandum, an quiescere? ”. Qui responderunt: “ Ascende, et dabit Dominus in manu regis ”.
6 (UKJV) "Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king. "

7 (UKJV) And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

8 (UKJV) "And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. "

9 (KAT) Nato izraelský kráľ zavolal jedného komorníka a povedal: „Priveď rýchlo Micheáša, Jemlovho syna!“
9 (VUL) Vocavit ergo rex Israel eunuchum quendam et dixit ei: “ Festina adducere Michaeam filium Iemla ”.
9 (UKJV) Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten here Micaiah the son of Imlah.

10 (KAT) Izraelský kráľ a júdsky kráľ Jozafat sedeli oblečení do rúcha, každý na svojom tróne na priestranstve pri vchode do brány Samárie a všetci proroci prorokovali pred nimi.
10 (VUL) Rex autem Israel et Iosaphat rex Iudae sedebat unusquisque in solio suo vestiti cultu regio in area iuxta ostium portae Samariae; et universi prophetae prophetabant in conspectu eorum.
10 (UKJV) "And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them. "

11 (KAT) Kanaánov syn Sedekiáš si urobil železné rohy a vravel: „Toto hovorí Pán: Týmito dokoleš Aramejčanov do zániku.“
11 (VUL) Fecit quoque sibi Sedecias filius Chanaana cornua ferrea et ait: “ Haec dicit Dominus: His ventilabis Syriam, donec deleas eam ”.
11 (UKJV) And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus says the LORD, With these shall you push the Syrians, until you have consumed them.

12 (KAT) A všetci proroci prorokovali podobne: „Tiahni proti Ramotu v Galaáde, budeš mať úspech a Pán ho vydá do ruky kráľa.“
12 (VUL) Omnesque prophetae similiter prophetabant dicentes: “ Ascende in Ramoth Galaad et vade prospere, et tradet Dominus in manu regis ”.
12 (UKJV) And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.

13 (UKJV) And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spoke unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let your word, I pray you, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

14 (KAT) Ale Micheáš odpovedal: „Ako žije Pán, budem hovoriť to, čo mi povie Pán.“
14 (VUL) Cui Michaeas ait: “ Vivit Dominus quia, quodcumque dixerit mihi Dominus, hoc loquar! ”.
14 (UKJV) And Micaiah said, As the LORD lives, what the LORD says unto me, that will I speak.

”. Cui ille respondit: “ Ascende et vade prospere, et tradet Dominus in manu regis ”.
15 (UKJV) So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

16 (UKJV) And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure you that you tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

17 (VUL) Et ille ait: “ Vidi cunctum Israel dispersum in montibus quasi oves non habentes pastorem. Et ait Dominus: “Non habent isti dominum; revertatur unusquisque in domum suam in pace” ”.
17 (UKJV) And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

18 (UKJV) And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

19 (KAT) A tamten pokračoval: „Nuž počuj slovo Pánovo!
19 (VUL) Ille vero addens ait: “ Propterea audi sermonem Domini: Vidi Dominum sedentem super solium suum et omnem exercitum caeli assistentem ei a dextris et a sinistris.
19 (UKJV) And he said, Hear you therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

20 (KAT) A Pán povedal: »Kto chce podviesť Achaba, aby šiel a padol pri Ramote v Galaáde?« Nato hovoril jeden tak, druhý onak.
20 (VUL) Et ait Dominus: “Quis decipiet Achab, ut ascendat et cadat in Ramoth Galaad?”. Et dixit unus verba huiuscemodi et alius aliter.
20 (UKJV) And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

21 (KAT) Vtedy vyšiel akýsi duch, zastal pred Pánom a povedal: »Ja ho podvediem!« A Pán sa ho spýtal: »Ako?«
21 (UKJV) And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

22 (UKJV) And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, You shall persude him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

23 (KAT) Pán teda vložil do úst všetkých týchto tvojich prorokov lživého ducha, lebo Pán vyslovil proti tebe nešťastie.“
23 (UKJV) Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets, and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.

24 (KAT) Vtom pristúpil syn Kanaána Sedekiáš, udrel Micheáša po líci a povedal: „Kadiaľže odišiel Pánov duch odo mňa, aby hovoril s tebou?“
24 (VUL) Accessit autem Sedecias filius Chanaana et percussit Michaeam in maxillam et dixit: “ Quomodo transivit spiritus Domini a me, ut loqueretur tibi? ”.
24 (UKJV) But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and stroke Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto you?

25 (KAT) Ale Micheáš odpovedal: „To uvidíš v ten deň, keď budeš chodiť z izby do izby, aby si sa schoval.“
25 (VUL) Et ait Michaeas: “ Visurus es in die illa, quando ingredieris cubiculum intra cubiculum, ut abscondaris ”.
25 (UKJV) And Micaiah said, Behold, you shall see in that day, when you shall go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.

26 (KAT) Kráľ Izraela povedal: „Chyť Micheáša a zaveď ho k mešťanostovi Amonovi a kráľovičovi Joasovi
26 (VUL) Et ait rex Israel: “ Tolle Michaeam, et maneat apud Amon principem civitatis et apud Ioas filium regis,
26 (UKJV) "And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; "

27 (KAT) a povedz: Takto hovorí kráľ: Tohoto dajte do väznice a biedne ho živte chlebom a vodou, kým sa šťastne navrátim!“
27 (VUL) et dic eis: “Haec dicit rex: Mittite virum istum in carcerem et sustentate eum pane tribulationis et aqua angustiae, donec revertar in pace” ”.
27 (UKJV) And say, Thus says the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.

28 (KAT) Micheáš však odvetil: „Ak sa naozaj šťastne vrátiš, nehovoril cezo mňa Pán.“ (A povedal: „Čujte to, všetci ľudia!“)
28 (VUL) Dixitque Michaeas: “ Si reversus fueris in pace, non est locutus Dominus in me ”. Et ait: “ Audite, populi omnes! ”.
28 (UKJV) And Micaiah said, If you return at all in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.

29 (KAT) Kráľ Izraela a júdsky kráľ Jozafat tiahli teda proti Ramotu v Galaáde.
29 (VUL) Ascendit itaque rex Israel et Iosaphat rex Iudae in Ramoth Galaad.
29 (UKJV) So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.

30 (UKJV) "And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put you on your robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle. "

31 (VUL) Rex autem Syriae praeceperat principibus curruum triginta duobus dicens: “ Non pugnabitis contra minorem et maiorem quempiam, nisi contra regem Israel solum ”.
31 (UKJV) But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

32 (KAT) Keď potom velitelia vozov zazreli Jozafata, povedali si: „To je iste kráľ Izraela!“ Obrátili sa a bojovali proti nemu. Ale Jozafat vykríkol
32 (VUL) Cum ergo vidissent principes curruum Iosaphat, suspicati sunt quod ipse esset rex Israel et impetu facto pugnabant contra eum. Et exclamavit Iosaphat;
32 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

33 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.

34 (KAT) Ale akýsi muž nevdojak natiahol luk a zasiahol izraelského kráľa medzi spony panciera. On povedal svojmu kočišovi: „Obráť a vyvez ma z bojišťa, som ranený!“
At ille dixit aurigae suo: “ Verte manum tuam et eice me de exercitu, quia graviter vulneratus sum ”.
34 (UKJV) "And a certain man drew a bow at random, and stroke the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn your hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. "

35 (UKJV) And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

36 (KAT) Okolo západu slnka znelo táborom volanie: „Každý do svojho mesta, každý do svojej krajiny,
36 (VUL) Et clamor insonuit in universo exercitu ad solis occasum: “ Unusquisque revertatur in civitatem et in terram suam! ”.
36 (UKJV) And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

37 (KAT) lebo kráľ zomrel!“ Prišli do Samárie a kráľa pochovali v Samárii.
37 (UKJV) "So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria. "

38 (UKJV) "And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spoke. "

39 (UKJV) Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

40 (UKJV) "So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his position. "

41 (KAT) Asov syn Jozafat začal kraľovať nad Júdom vo štvrtom roku izraelského kráľa Achaba.
41 (VUL) Iosaphat vero filius Asa regnare coeperat super Iudam anno quarto Achab regis Israel;
41 (UKJV) And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

42 (KAT) Jozafat mal tridsaťpäť rokov, keď začal kraľovať, a dvadsaťpäť rokov kraľoval v Jeruzaleme. Meno jeho matky bolo Azuba, dcéra Salaiho.
42 (VUL) triginta quinque annorum erat, cum regnare coepisset, et viginti quinque annos regnavit in Ierusalem. Nomen matris eius Azuba filia Selachi.
42 (UKJV) "Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. "

43 (UKJV) "And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places. "

44 (KAT) Ale výšiny nezmizli, ľud ešte obetoval a pálil tymian na výšinách.
44 (UKJV) And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.

45 (KAT) S izraelským kráľom nažíval Jozafat v pokoji.
45 (VUL) Pacemque fecit Iosaphat cum rege Israel.
45 (UKJV) Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he showed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

46 (UKJV) And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

47 (UKJV) There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.

48 (KAT) V Edome vtedy nebolo kráľa, panoval tam správca.
48 (VUL) Nec erat tunc rex in Edom sed praefectus regius.
48 (UKJV) "Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber. "

49 (UKJV) Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with your servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

50 (KAT) Vtedy Achabov syn Ochoziáš povedal Jozafatovi: „Moji sluhovia pôjdu s tvojimi sluhami na lodiach.“ Ale Jozafat nechcel.
50 (VUL) Tunc ait Ochozias filius Achab ad Iosaphat: “ Vadant servi mei cum servis tuis in navibus ”. Et noluit Iosaphat.
50 (UKJV) And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his position.

51 (UKJV) Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.

52 (KAT) Achabov syn Ochoziáš sa stal kráľom nad Izraelom v Samárii v sedemnástom roku júdskeho kráľa Jozafata a dva roky kraľoval nad Izraelom.
52 (VUL) Ochozias autem filius Achab regnare coeperat super Israel in Samaria anno septimo decimo Iosaphat regis Iudae regnavitque super Israel duobus annis.
52 (UKJV) And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

53 (VUL) Et fecit malum in conspectu Domini et ambulavit in via patris sui et matris suae et in via Ieroboam filii Nabat, qui peccare fecit Israel;
53 (UKJV) For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.

Nepriateľstvá medzi Izraelom a Júdom prestali, tieto dve kráľovstvá uzavrú dokonca aj vojenskú zmluvu a ich králi vstúpia vzájomne do rodiny.

1Kr 22,28 - Slová v zátvorkách nepatria do pôvodnej osnovy.

1Kr 22,38 - Zmienka o smilniciach, ktorú sme dali do zátvoriek, nepatrí do osnovy.

O Asiongaberi pozn. k 9,26.
