(KAT - Katolícky preklad)

1Kr 13, 1-34

1 (KAT) Tu prišiel z Júdska na Pánov pokyn Boží muž do Betelu, práve keď Jeroboam stál pri oltári a chcel páliť tymian.
1 (VUL) Et ecce vir Dei venit de Iuda in sermone Domini in Bethel, Ieroboam stante super altare ad adolendum;
1 (UKJV) And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

2 (VUL) et exclamavit contra altare in sermone Domini et ait: “ Altare, altare, haec dicit Dominus: Ecce filius nascetur domui David, Iosias nomine, et immolabit super te sacerdotes excelsorum, qui nunc in te immolant, et ossa hominum super te incendent ”.
2 (UKJV) "And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus says the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon you shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon you, and men's bones shall be burnt upon you. "

3 (UKJV) "And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD has spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. "

4 (KAT) Keď kráľ počul reč Božieho muža, ktorú volal k oltáru, odtiahol Jeroboam ruku od oltára a volal: „Chyťte ho!“ Vtom mu ruka, ktorú mal proti nemu vystretú, uschla a už ju nemohol pritiahnuť k sebe.
4 (VUL) Cumque audisset rex sermonem hominis Dei, quem inclamaverat contra altare in Bethel, extendit manum suam de altari dicens: “ Apprehendite eum! ”.
4 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

5 (UKJV) The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

6 (UKJV) And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Implore now the face of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

7 (KAT) Vtedy kráľ hovoril Božiemu mužovi: „Poď so mnou domov, občerstvi sa a dám ti dary.“
7 (UKJV) And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.

8 (KAT) Ale Boží muž povedal kráľovi: „Ani keby si mi dal polovicu svojho domu, nepôjdem s tebou a nebudem nič jesť ani piť na tomto mieste.
8 (VUL) Responditque vir Dei ad regem: “ Si dederis mihi mediam partem domus tuae, non veniam tecum nec comedam panem neque bibam aquam in loco isto;
8 (UKJV) And the man of God said unto the king, If you will give me half your house, I will not go in with you, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

9 (UKJV) For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor return by the same way that you came.

10 (KAT) Potom odišiel inou cestou a nevrátil sa cestou, ktorou prišiel do Betelu.
10 (UKJV) So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

Keď to rozpovedali svojmu otcovi,
11 (UKJV) "Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. "

12 (KAT) otec sa ich opýtal: „Ktorou cestou odišiel?“ Synovia mu ukázali cestu, ktorou odišiel Boží muž, čo prišiel z Júdska.
12 (VUL) Et dixit eis pater eorum: “ Per quam viam abiit? ”.
12 (UKJV) And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

13 (KAT) Nato rozkázal svojim synom: „Osedlajte mi oslicu!“ Keď mu osedlali osla, vysadol naň
13 (VUL) Et ait filiis suis: “ Sternite mihi asinum ”. Qui cum stravissent, ascendit
13 (UKJV) And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

14 (KAT) a išiel za Božím mužom. Našiel ho sedieť pod terebintou. I spýtal sa ho: „Ty si ten Boží muž, čo prišiel z Júdska?“ On odpovedal: „Ja.“
Respondit ille: “ Ego sum ”.
14 (UKJV) And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Are you the man of God that came from Judah? And he said, I am.

15 (KAT) Nato mu vravel: „Poď so mnou domov zajesť si!“
15 (UKJV) Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

16 (VUL) Qui ait: “ Non possum reverti neque venire tecum nec comedam panem neque bibam aquam in loco isto;
16 (UKJV) And he said, I may not return with you, nor go in with you: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place:

17 (UKJV) For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, You shall eat no bread nor drink water there, nor return to go by the way that you came.

18 (KAT) Ale ten mu povedal: „Aj ja som prorok ako ty a anjel mi povedal z Pánovho pokynu: »Priveď ho so sebou späť do svojho domu, nech si zaje a nech sa napije vody!«“ Oklamal ho.
18 (VUL) Qui ait illi: “ Et ego propheta sum similis tui; et angelus locutus est mihi in sermone Domini dicens: “Reduc eum tecum in domum tuam, et comedat panem et bibat aquam” ”. Fefellit eum
18 (UKJV) "He said unto him, I am a prophet also as you are; and an angel spoke unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with you into your house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. "

19 (UKJV) So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

20 (UKJV) And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

21 (UKJV) And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD, Forasmuch as you have disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and have not kept the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you,

22 (UKJV) "But came back, and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to you, Eat no bread, and drink no water; your carcass shall not come unto the tomb of your fathers. "

23 (KAT) A keď si zajedol a napil sa, osedlali mu osla proroka, ktorý ho priviedol naspäť,
23 (VUL) Cumque comedisset panem et bibisset, stravit sibi asinum prophetae, qui reduxerat eum;
23 (UKJV) And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to know, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

24 (KAT) a odišiel.
24 (UKJV) And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcass was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcass.

25 (KAT) Keď išli tadiaľ ľudia a zazreli mŕtvolu a leva stáť vedľa mŕtvoly, išli a hovorili to v meste, v ktorom býval ten starý prorok.
25 (VUL) Et ecce viri transeuntes viderunt cadaver proiectum in via et leonem stantem iuxta cadaver; et venerunt et divulgaverunt in civitate, in qua prophetes ille senex habitabat.
25 (UKJV) And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcass cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcass: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

26 (UKJV) And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD has delivered him unto the lion, which has torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke unto him.

27 (KAT) Nato povedal svojim synom: „Osedlajte mi osla!“ Keď mu ho osedlali,
27 (VUL) Dixitque ad filios suos: “ Sternite mihi asinum! ”. Qui cum stravissent,
27 (UKJV) And he spoke to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

28 (UKJV) And he went and found his carcass cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcass: the lion had not eaten the carcass, nor torn the ass.

29 (KAT) Prorok zdvihol mŕtvolu Božieho muža, vyložil ju na osla a priviezol ju späť do mesta (starého proroka), aby ho oplakal a pochoval.
29 (UKJV) And the prophet took up the carcass of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

30 (KAT) Mŕtvolu uložil do vlastného hrobu a nariekali nad ňou: „Ach, brat môj!“
30 (VUL) Et posuit cadaver eius in sepulcro suo, et planxerunt eum: “ Heu, heu, mi frater! ”.
30 (UKJV) "And he laid his carcass in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother! "

31 (KAT) Keď ho pochovali, povedal svojim synom: „Až zomriem, pochovajte ma do hrobu, v ktorom je pochovaný Boží muž, nech moje kosti ležia vedľa jeho kostí,
31 (VUL) Cumque sepelissent eum, dixit ad filios suos: “ Cum mortuus fuero, sepelite me in sepulcro, in quo vir Dei sepultus est; iuxta ossa eius ponite ossa mea.
31 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spoke to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the tomb wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones: "

32 (UKJV) For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

33 (UKJV) After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the low of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.

34 (UKJV) And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.

1Kr 13, 1-34

Ex 10:17 - A teraz mi ešte tentoraz odpusťte môj hriech a proste Pána, svojho Boha, aby odvrátil odo mňa aspoň toto smrtiace nebezpečenstvo!“
Nm 21:7 - Tu prišiel ľud k Mojžišovi a povedal: „Zhrešili sme, keď sme šomrali proti Pánovi a proti tebe.

a odišiel.
1Kr 20:36 - I povedal mu: „Pretože si nepočúval hlas Pána, len čo vyjdeš odo mňa zabije ťa lev.“ A keď odchádzal od neho, napadol ho lev a zabil ho.

1Kr 13,2 - Ľudské kosti poškvrnia oltár. Splnenie proroctva pozri 2 Kr 23,16.

1Kr 13,18 - Prorok nehovoril pravdu.

Gn 47,30; 50,25.

1Kr 13,29 - Slová v zátvorkách nepatria do pôvodnej osnovy.

1Kr 13,33 - Pri posviacke za kňaza dávali vysväteným do rúk časť obetných darov, to volali "naplnenie rúk". Preto výraz "naplniť ruku" znamená: vysvätiť, ustanoviť za kňaza (Ex 28,4; 29,9.22).
