1 (UKJV) And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
1 (ROH) A Dávid riekol: Či je ešte niekto, kto by bol pozostal z domu Saulovho? Lebo by som mu chcel učiniť milosť pre Jonatána.
2 (UKJV) And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Are you Ziba? And he said, Your servant is he.
2 (ROH) A dom Saulov mal sluhu, ktorému bolo meno Cíba. A zavolali ho k Dávidovi. A kráľ mu riekol: Či si ty Cíba? A on odpovedal: Som, tvoj služobník.
3 (UKJV) And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan has yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
3 (ROH) Vtedy riekol kráľ: Či nie je už viacej nikoho z domu Saulovho? Lebo by som mu chcel učiniť milosť Božiu. A Cíba povedal kráľovi: Je ešte syn Jonatánov, chromý na nohy.
4 (UKJV) And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar.
4 (ROH) A kráľ mu riekol: Kde je? A Cíba odpovedal kráľovi: Hľa, je v dome Machíra, syna Ammielovho, v Ló-debáre.
5 (UKJV) Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.
5 (ROH) Vtedy poslal kráľ Dávid po neho a vzal ho z domu Machíra, syna Ammielovho, z Ló-debára.
6 (UKJV) Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold your servant!
6 (ROH) A keď prišiel Mefibóšet, syn Jonatána, syna Saulovho, k Dávidovi, padol na svoju tvár a poklonil sa. A Dávid riekol: Mefibóšete! A on povedal: Hľa, tvoj služobník.
7 (UKJV) "And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father's sake, and will restore you all the land of Saul your father; and you shall eat bread at my table continually. "
7 (ROH) A Dávid mu riekol: Neboj sa, lebo ti istotne učiním milosť pre Jonatána, tvojho otca, a navrátim ti všetko pole Saula, tvojho otca, a ty budeš jesť chlieb pri mojom stole vždycky.
8 (UKJV) And he bowed himself, and said, What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I am?
8 (ROH) Vtedy sa poklonil a povedal: Čo je tvoj služobník, že si pohliadol na mŕtveho psa, aký som ja?
9 (UKJV) Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto your master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
9 (ROH) Potom zavolal kráľ Cíbu, služobníka Saulovho, a riekol mu: Všetko, čo mal Saul a celý jeho dom, dal som synovi tvojho pána.
10 (UKJV) You therefore, and your sons, and your servants, shall till the land for him, and you shall bring in the fruits, that your master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth your master's son shall eat bread always at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
10 (ROH) A budeš mu obrábať zem, ty i tvoji synovia i tvoji sluhovia a budeš donášať, a tak bude mať syn tvojho pána svoj chlieb a bude ho jesť, ale sám Mifibóšet, syn tvojho pána, bude vždycky jesť chlieb pri mojom stole. - A Cíba mal pätnásť synov a dvadsať sluhov.
11 (UKJV) Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so shall your servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
11 (ROH) Na to povedal Cíba kráľovi: Všetko, jako prikázal môj pán kráľ svojmu služobníkovi, tak učiní tvoj služobník. Ale Mefibóšet, jie pri mojom stole jako niektorý zo synov kráľových.
12 (UKJV) And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
12 (ROH) A Mefibóšet mal malého syna, ktorému bolo meno Mícha. A všetci, ktorí bývali v dome Cíbovom, boli služobníkmi Mefibóšetovi.
13 (UKJV) "So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet. "
13 (ROH) A Mefibóšet býval v Jeruzaleme, pretože on vždy jedol pri stole kráľovom. A kríval na obe svoje nohy.

Verš 2
And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Are you Ziba? And he said, Your servant is he.
2Sam 16:1 - And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.
2Sam 19:17 - "And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king. "

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan has yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
2Sam 4:4 - And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.

2Sam 9,4 - Lodabar bolo mesto východne od Jordána, blízo Rabat Amonu.
2Sam 9,10 - Niektorí, nie bez základu, opravujú os novu: "Ktorá bude slúžiť domu tvojho pána za pokrm, aby mali čo jesť." Veď sám Mifiboset ne potreboval pokrm, lebo jedával pri kráľovom stole.
2Sam 9,11 - Hebr. znenie a Vulg dnes číta chybne: "pri mojom stole". Opravili sme podľa LXX.
