1 (KAT) Vojna medzi Šaulovým domom a domom Dávidovým bola zdĺhavá. Dávidov dom pritom stále vzrastal, dom Šaulov stále upadal.

10 (KAT) Odnímem kráľovstvo Šaulovmu domu a upevním Dávidov trón nad Izraelom a nad Júdom od Danu až po Bersabe.“

37 (VUL) Et cognovit omne vulgus et universus Israel in die illa quoniam non actum fuisset a rege, ut occideretur Abner filius Ner.
37 (UKJV) For all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to slay Abner the son of Ner.
