2. kniha Samuelova

1 (HEM) ויהי רעב בימי דוד שלש שנים שנה אחרי שנה ויבקש דוד את פני יהוה ויאמר יהוה אל שאול ואל בית הדמים על אשר המית את הגבענים׃
1 (KAT) V Dávidových dňoch bol raz hlad tri roky, rok za rokom. Preto Dávid vyhľadal Pánovu tvár a Pán povedal: „Pre Šaula a pre jeho krvavý dom (je to), preto, že usmrtil Gabaončanov.“

2 (HEM) ויקרא המלך לגבענים ויאמר אליהם והגבענים לא מבני ישראל המה כי אם מיתר האמרי ובני ישראל נשבעו להם ויבקש שאול להכתם בקנאתו לבני ישראל ויהודה׃

2 (UKJV) "And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.) "

3 (HEM) ויאמר דוד אל הגבענים מה אעשה לכם ובמה אכפר וברכו את נחלת יהוה׃
3 (KAT) Dávid sa teda spýtal Gabaončanov: „Čo vám mám urobiť a čím môžem získať zmierenie, aby ste žehnali Pánovmu dedičstvu?“
3 (UKJV) Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that all of you may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

4 (HEM) ויאמרו לו הגבענים אין לי כסף וזהב עם שאול ועם ביתו ואין לנו איש להמית בישראל ויאמר מה אתם אמרים אעשה לכם׃
4 (KAT) Gabaončania mu odpovedali: „Voči Šaulovi a jeho domu nám nejde o striebro a zlato, ani nechceme nikoho z Izraela zabiť.“ Povedal: „Urobím pre vás, čo poviete.“
4 (UKJV) "And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shall you kill any man in Israel. And he said, What all of you shall say, that will I do for you. "

5 (HEM) ויאמרו אל המלך האיש אשר כלנו ואשר דמה לנו נשמדנו מהתיצב בכל גבל ישראל׃
5 (KAT) Odpovedali kráľovi: „Zo synov toho muža, ktorý nás nivočil a ktorý nás zamýšľal tak vyhubiť, že sme nemohli obstáť na celom území Izraela,
5 (UKJV) And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel,

6 (HEM) ינתן לנו שבעה אנשים מבניו והוקענום ליהוה בגבעת שאול בחיר יהוה ויאמר המלך אני אתן׃
6 (KAT) musíme dostať sedem mužov, aby sme ich usmrtili pred Pánom v Gabae Šaula, (kedysi) vyvoleného Pánovho.“ Kráľ povedal: „Ja (ich) vydám.“

7 (HEM) ויחמל המלך על מפיבשת בן יהונתן בן שאול על שבעת יהוה אשר בינתם בין דוד ובין יהונתן בן שאול׃
7 (KAT) Ale kráľ ušetril Mifiboseta, syna Šaulovho syna Jonatána, pre Pánovu prísahu, ktorá bola medzi nimi, medzi Dávidom a medzi Šaulovým synom Jonatánom.
7 (UKJV) But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.

8 (HEM) ויקח המלך את שני בני רצפה בת איה אשר ילדה לשאול את ארמני ואת מפבשת ואת חמשת בני מיכל בת שאול אשר ילדה לעדריאל בן ברזלי המחלתי׃
8 (KAT) Kráľ Dávid vzal teda dvoch synov Ajovej dcéry Resfy, Armoniho a Mifiboseta, ktorých porodila Šaulovi, a piatich synov Šaulovej dcéry Meroby, ktorých porodila Hadrielovi, Berzelaiho synovi z Mecholy,
8 (UKJV) "But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite: "

9 (HEM) ויתנם ביד הגבענים ויקיעם בהר לפני יהוה ויפלו שבעתים יחד והם המתו בימי קציר בראשנים תחלת קציר שערים׃
9 (KAT) a vydal ich do ruky Gabaončanov. Oni ich obesili na vrchu pred Pánom. Títo siedmi zahynuli naraz. Podstúpili smrť v prvých dňoch žatvy, keď sa začínala žatva jačmeňa.
9 (UKJV) And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.

10 (HEM) ותקח רצפה בת איה את השק ותטהו לה אל הצור מתחלת קציר עד נתך מים עליהם מן השמים ולא נתנה עוף השמים לנוח עליהם יומם ואת חית השדה לילה׃
10 (KAT) Ajova dcéra Resfa vzala vrece, prestrela si ho na skalu od začiatku žatvy, až kým na nich nepadali rosy z neba; a nedopustila, aby vo dne na nich prišlo nebeské vtáctvo a v noci poľná zver.
10 (UKJV) And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.

11 (HEM) ויגד לדוד את אשר עשתה רצפה בת איה פלגש שאול׃
11 (KAT) Dávidovi oznámili, čo urobila Ajova dcéra Resfa, vedľajšia Šaulova žena.
11 (UKJV) And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.

12 (HEM) וילך דוד ויקח את עצמות שאול ואת עצמות יהונתן בנו מאת בעלי יביש גלעד אשר גנבו אתם מרחב בית שן אשר תלום שם הפלשתים ביום הכות פלשתים את שאול בגלבע׃

14 (KAT) a kosti Šaula a jeho syna Jonatána pochovali v Benjamínovej krajine v Sele do hrobu jeho otca Kisa. Tak vykonali všetko, čo kráľ prikázal. Potom sa Boh zľutoval nad krajinou.
14 (UKJV) And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the tomb of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was implored for the land.

15 (HEM) ותהי עוד מלחמה לפלשתים את ישראל וירד דוד ועבדיו עמו וילחמו את פלשתים ויעף דוד׃
15 (KAT) Opäť došlo k vojne Filištíncov s Izraelitmi. Dávid išiel dolu a jeho sluhovia s ním a bojovali proti Filištíncom. Pritom Dávid ustal.
15 (UKJV) "Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint. "

16 (HEM) וישבו בנב אשר בילידי הרפה ומשקל קינו שלש מאות משקל נחשת והוא חגור חדשה ויאמר להכות את דוד׃

17 (HEM) ויעזר לו אבישי בן צרויה ויך את הפלשתי וימיתהו אז נשבעו אנשי דוד לו לאמר לא תצא עוד אתנו למלחמה ולא תכבה את נר ישראל׃
17 (KAT) Ale prišiel mu na pomoc Abisai, syn Sarvie, Filištínca porazil a zabil ho. Vtedy mužovia zaprisahali Dávida: „Viac nesmieš ísť s nami do boja, aby si nevyhasil lampu Izraela!“
17 (UKJV) But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and stroke the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David swore unto him, saying, You shall go no more out with us to battle, that you quench not the light of Israel.

18 (HEM) ויהי אחרי כן ותהי עוד המלחמה בגוב עם פלשתים אז הכה סבכי החשתי את סף אשר בילדי הרפה׃
18 (KAT) Po tomto zase došlo k vojne s Filištíncami pri Gobe. Tam porazil Chušaťan Sobochai Safa z Rafovho rodu.
18 (UKJV) And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant.

19 (HEM) ותהי עוד המלחמה בגוב עם פלשתים ויך אלחנן בן יערי ארגים בית הלחמי את גלית הגתי ועץ חניתו כמנור ארגים׃
19 (KAT) Opäť sa strhla vojna s Filištíncami pri Gobe. Vtedy Elchanan, Járiho syn z Betlehema, zabil brata Gétejca Goliáša Lachmiho. Drevo na jeho kopiji bolo ako návoj.
19 (UKJV) And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.

20 (HEM) ותהי עוד מלחמה בגת ויהי איש מדין ואצבעת ידיו ואצבעות רגליו שש ושש עשרים וארבע מספר וגם הוא ילד להרפה׃
20 (KAT) Znovu vypukla vojna pri Géte. Tam bol ohromný muž, ktorý mal na rukách i na nohách po šesť, spolu dvadsaťštyri prstov. Aj on bol z Rafovho potomstva.
20 (UKJV) "And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. "

21 (HEM) ויחרף את ישראל ויכהו יהונתן בן שמעי אחי דוד׃
21 (KAT) Keď sa rúhal Izraelitom, zabil ho Jonatán, syn Dávidovho brata Samu.
21 (UKJV) And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimeah the brother of David slew him.

22 (HEM) את ארבעת אלה ילדו להרפה בגת ויפלו ביד דוד וביד עבדיו׃
22 (KAT) Títo štyria boli z potomstva Gétejca Rafu. Padli rukou Dávida a rukou jeho sluhov.
22 (UKJV) These four were born to the giant in Gath, and fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
