2. kniha Samuelova

Biblia - Sväté písmo

(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

2Sam 19, 1-43

1 (UKJV) And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom.

2 (UKJV) And the victory that day was turned into mourning unto all the people: for the people heard say that day how the king was grieved for his son.
2 (ROH) A tak sa obrátilo zachránenie a víťazstvo toho dňa na zármutok všetkému ľudu, lebo ľud počul toho dňa hovoriť: Kráľ žiali nad svojím synom.

3 (UKJV) And the people got them by stealth that day into the city, as people being ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.

4 (UKJV) But the king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!
4 (ROH) A kráľ zakryl svoju tvár a kričal velikým hlasom: Môj synu, Absalome, Absalome, môj synu, môj synu!

5 (UKJV) "And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, You have shamed this day the faces of all your servants, which this day have saved your life, and the lives of your sons and of your daughters, and the lives of your wives, and the lives of your concubines; "
5 (ROH) Vtedy vošiel Joáb ku kráľovi do domu a riekol: Zahanbil si dnes tvár všetkých svojich služobníkov, ktorí dnes vyslobodili tvoj život i život tvojich synov i tvojich dcér i život tvojich žien i život tvojich ženín,

6 (UKJV) In that you love your enemies, and hate your friends. For you have declared this day, that you regard neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased you well.
6 (ROH) milujúc tých, ktorí ťa nenávidia, a nenávidiac tých, ktorí ťa milujú, lebo si dal dnes na vedomie, že nie sú ti ničím ani velitelia ani služobníci, lebo dnes viem, že keby žil Absalom, my všetci by sme boli dnes mŕtvi, a vtedy by sa ti to bolo ľúbilo.

7 (UKJV) Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto your servants: for I swear by the LORD, if you go not forth, there will not tarry one with you this night: and that will be worse unto you than all the evil that befell you from your youth until now.

8 (UKJV) Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king does sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
8 (ROH) A tak vstal kráľ a posadil sa do brány, a oznámili všetkému ľudu a riekli: Hľa, kráľ sedí v bráne. A prišiel všetok ľud pred kráľa, a Izrael utiekol, každý do svojho stánu.

9 (UKJV) "And all the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The king saved us out of the hand of our enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he is fled out of the land for Absalom. "

10 (UKJV) And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why speak all of you not a word of bringing the king back?
10 (ROH) A Absalom, ktorého sme pomazali nad sebou, zomrel v boji. A tak teraz prečo mlčíte a nejdete doviesť kráľa zpät?

11 (UKJV) And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are all of you the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel has come to the king, even to his house.
11 (ROH) Preto poslal kráľ Dávid k Cádokovi a k Ebiatárovi, kňazom, a riekol: Hovorte starším Júdovým a povedzte!

12 (UKJV) All of you are my brethren, all of you are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are all of you the last to bring back the king?
12 (ROH) Vy ste moji bratia, moja kosť, a moje telo ste vy, nuž prečože máte byť poslední doviesť kráľa zpät?

13 (UKJV) And say all of you to Amasa, Are you not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if you be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

14 (UKJV) "And he bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as the heart of one man; so that they sent this word unto the king, Return you, and all your servants. "
14 (ROH) A naklonil srdce všetkých mužov Júdových ako keby to bolo bývalo srdce jedného muža, a poslali ku kráľovi odkaz: Navráť sa ty i všetci tvoji služobníci!

15 (UKJV) So the king returned, and came to Jordan. And Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to conduct the king over Jordan.
15 (ROH) A tak sa vrátil kráľ a prišiel až k Jordánu, a Júda prišiel do Gilgala, idúc naproti kráľovi, aby prepravil kráľa cez Jordán.

16 (UKJV) And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which was of Bahurim, hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David.

17 (UKJV) "And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king. "
A prešli cez Jordán pred kráľa.

18 (UKJV) "And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan; "
18 (ROH) A prešla na druhú stranu kompa, aby previezli dom kráľov a aby učinili to, čo by sa mu ľúbilo. A Šimei, syn Géru, padol pred kráľom, keď sa práve mal prepraviť cez Jordán.

19 (UKJV) And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do you remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.
19 (ROH) A povedal kráľovi: Nech mi nepočíta môj pán neprávosti, a nespomínaj toho, čo prevrátene učinil tvoj služobník toho dňa, ktorého vyšiel môj pán kráľ z Jeruzalema, a nech si toho neberie kráľ k svojmu srdcu.

20 (UKJV) For your servant does know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.
20 (ROH) Lebo tvoj služobník vie, že som zhrešil, a preto hľa, prišiel som dnes prvý z celého domu Jozefovho síduc naproti svojmu pánu kráľovi.

21 (UKJV) But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD's anointed?
21 (ROH) Na to odpovedal Abišaj, syn Ceruje, a riekol: Či by za to nemal zomrieť Šimei, že zlorečil pomazanému Hospodinovmu?

22 (UKJV) And David said, What have I to do with you, all of you sons of Zeruiah, that all of you should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?

23 (UKJV) Therefore the king said unto Shimei, You shall not die. And the king swore unto him.
23 (ROH) Potom riekol kráľ Šimeimu: Nezomrieš. A kráľ mu prisahal.

24 (UKJV) And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace.
24 (ROH) I Mefibóšet, syn Saulov, sišiel naproti kráľovi.

25 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said unto him, Wherefore went not you with me, Mephibosheth?
25 (ROH) A stalo sa, keď prišiel do Jeruzalema naproti kráľovi, že mu riekol kráľ: Prečo si neišiel so mnou, Mefibóšete?

26 (UKJV) "And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for your servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because your servant is lame. "
26 (ROH) A odpovedal: Môj pán kráľ, môj služobník ma oklamal. Lebo tvoj služobník povedal: Nože nech si osedlám osla a sadnúc na neho pojdem s kráľom. Lebo tvoj služobník je chromý na nohy.

27 (UKJV) "And he has slandered your servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in your eyes. "
27 (ROH) A osočil tvojho služobníka u môjho pána kráľa.

28 (UKJV) For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet did you set your servant among them that did eat at your own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king?
28 (ROH) Lebo celý dom môjho otca nebol iným iba mužmi smrti môjmu pánu kráľovi, a predsa si zasadil svojho služobníka medzi tých, ktorí jedia chlieb tvojho stola. A čo mám ešte jaké právo? A čo kričať ešte o niečo na kráľa?!

29 (UKJV) And the king said unto him, Why speak you any more of your matters? I have said, You and Ziba divide the land.
29 (ROH) A kráľ mu povedal: Načo hovoríš ešte o svojich veciach? Povedal som, ty a Cíba rozdelíte si pole.

30 (UKJV) And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king has come again in peace unto his own house.
30 (ROH) A Mefibóšet povedal kráľovi: Nech si vezme hoc i všetko, keď len prišiel môj pán kráľ v pokoji do svojho domu.

31 (UKJV) And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.

32 (UKJV) "Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man. "
32 (ROH) A Barzillaj bol veľmi starý majúc osemdesiat rokov a on zaopatroval kráľa potravou, kým býval v Machnaime, pretože bol muž veľmi veľký.

33 (UKJV) And the king said unto Barzillai, Come you over with me, and I will feed you with me in Jerusalem.
33 (ROH) A kráľ povedal Barzillajovi: Ty poď so mnou, a budem ťa zaopatrovať u seba v Jeruzaleme.

34 (UKJV) And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem?
34 (ROH) Ale Barzillaj povedal kráľovi: Koľko je dní rokov môjho života, aby som išiel s kráľom hore do Jeruzalema?

35 (UKJV) I am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil? can your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should your servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?
35 (ROH) Osemdesiat rokov mi je dnes, či môžem ešte rozoznať medzi dobrým a zlým? Či ochutná tvoj služobník to, čo budem jesť, alebo to, čo budem piť? Či budem ešte počúvať na hlas spevákov a speváček? A prečo má byť tvoj služobník ešte na ťarchu môjmu pánu kráľovi?

36 (UKJV) Your servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king: and why should the king recompense it me with such a reward?

37 (UKJV) "Let your servant, I pray you, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold your servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto you. "
37 (ROH) Dovoľ, prosím, že by sa navrátil tvoj služobník, a nech zomriem vo svojom meste, kde je hrob môjho otca a mojej matky. A hľa, tvoj služobník Kimham prejde a pojde s mojím pánom kráľom, a tomu učiň to, čo bude dobré v tvojich očiach.

38 (UKJV) And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto you: and whatsoever you shall require of me, that will I do for you.
38 (ROH) A kráľ povedal: Nech ide so mnou Kimham, a ja mu učiním to, čo bude dobré v tvojich očiach, a čokoľvek budeš žiadať odo mňa, učiním ti.

39 (UKJV) "And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place. "

40 (UKJV) Then the king went on to Gilgal, and Chimham went on with him: and all the people of Judah conducted the king, and also half the people of Israel.
40 (ROH) A kráľ išiel ďalej do Gilgala, a Kimham išiel s ním. A všetok ľud Júdu doprevádzal kráľa i polovica ľudu Izraelovho.

41 (UKJV) And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king, and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen you away, and have brought the king, and his household, and all David's men with him, over Jordan?
41 (ROH) A hľa, všetci mužovia Izraelovi prišli ku kráľovi a povedali mu: Prečo ťa ukradli naši bratia, mužovia Júdovi, a prepravili kráľa i jeho dom cez Jordán i všetkých mužov Dávidových s ním?

42 (UKJV) And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then be all of you angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the king's cost? or has he given us any gift?

43 (UKJV) And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than all of you: why then did all of you despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.
A či sme my nehovorili prv o tom, aby sme zase dopravili zpät svojho kráľa?
