5 (VUL) Venit ergo rex David usque Bahurim, et ecce egrediebatur inde vir de cognatione domus Saul nomine Semei filius Gera; procedebat egrediens et maledicens
5 (UKJV) And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.

6 (KAT) a hádzal kamene do Dávida a do sluhov kráľa Dávida, hoci mu všetok ľud a všetci hrdinovia išli po pravej i ľavej strane.

8 (UKJV) "The LORD has returned upon you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose position you have reigned; and the LORD has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son: and, behold, you are taken in your mischief, because you are a bloody man. "

10 (VUL) Et ait rex: “Quid mihi et vobis filii Sarviae? Si maledicit, et si Dominus praecepit ei, ut malediceret David, quis est qui audeat dicere: “Quare sic fecisti?” ”.
10 (UKJV) And the king said, What have I to do with you, all of you sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD has said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore have you done so?

11 (KAT) Potom povedal Dávid Abisaiovi a všetkým svojim sluhom: „Hľa, môj syn, ktorý vyšiel z mojich útrob, číha mi na život, nuž o čo skôr to môže tento Benjamínec! Nechajte ho preklínať, lebo mu to Pán prikázal!
11 (VUL) Et ait rex Abisai et universis servis suis: “ Ecce filius meus, qui egressus est de visceribus meis, quaerit animam meam; quanto magis nunc iste filius Beniaminita. Dimittite eum, ut maledicat iuxta praeceptum Domini.

13 (VUL) Ambulabat itaque David et socii eius per viam; Semei autem per iugum montis ex latere gradiebatur maledicens et mittens lapides adversum eum terramque spargens.
13 (UKJV) And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill's side opposite to him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.

14 (KAT) Kráľ a všetok ľud, ktorý bol s ním, došiel unavený (k Jordánu), a tam sa občerstvil.
14 (VUL) Venit itaque rex et universus populus cum eo lassus usque ad aquas, et refocillati sunt ibi.
14 (UKJV) And the king, and all the people that were with him, came weary, and refreshed themselves there.

23 (VUL) Consilium autem Achitophel, quod dabat in diebus illis, quasi si quis consuleret Deum; sic erat omne consilium Achitophel, et cum esset cum David et cum esset cum Absalom.
23 (UKJV) And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.
