1 (HEM) ויהי אחרי כן ולאבשלום בן דוד אחות יפה ושמה תמר ויאהבה אמנון בן דוד׃
1 (KAT) Potom sa stalo toto: Dávidov syn Absolón mal krásnu sestru menom Tamar a zamiloval sa do nej Dávidov syn Amnon.
1 (UKJV) "And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her. "

2 (HEM) ויצר לאמנון להתחלות בעבור תמר אחתו כי בתולה היא ויפלא בעיני אמנון לעשות לה מאומה׃
2 (KAT) Amnon sa trápil, až ochorel pre svoju sestru Tamar. Bola pannou, preto sa Amnonovi zdalo nemožným niečo jej urobiť.
2 (UKJV) "And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do anything to her. "

3 (HEM) ולאמנון רע ושמו יונדב בן שמעה אחי דוד ויונדב איש חכם מאד׃

3 (UKJV) But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtle man.

4 (HEM) ויאמר לו מדוע אתה ככה דל בן המלך בבקר בבקר הלוא תגיד לי ויאמר לו אמנון את תמר אחות אבשלם אחי אני אהב׃
4 (KAT) I spýtal sa ho: „Prečo si ty, kráľov syn, deň čo deň biednejší? Nepovieš mi to?“ Amnon mu odpovedal: „Milujem Tamar, sestru svojho brata Absolóna.“
4 (UKJV) And he said unto him, Why are you, being the king's son, lean from day to day? will you not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.

5 (HEM) ויאמר לו יהונדב שכב על משכבך והתחל ובא אביך לראותך ואמרת אליו תבא נא תמר אחותי ותברני לחם ועשתה לעיני את הבריה למען אשר אראה ואכלתי מידה׃
5 (KAT) Jonadab mu vravel: „Ľahni si do postele, akoby si bol chorý, a keď ťa príde pozrieť tvoj otec, povedz mu: Nech príde, prosím, moja sestra Tamar a nech mi dá niečo jesť! Nech pripraví pokrm pred mojimi očami, aby som to videl a aby som prijal pokrm z jej ruky!“
5 (UKJV) And Jonadab said unto him, Lay you down on your bed, and make yourself sick: and when your father comes to see you, say unto him, I pray you, let my sister Tamar come, and give me food, and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.

6 (HEM) וישכב אמנון ויתחל ויבא המלך לראתו ויאמר אמנון אל המלך תבוא נא תמר אחתי ותלבב לעיני שתי לבבות ואברה מידה׃
6 (KAT) Amnon si teda ľahol a predstieral chorobu. Keď ho kráľ prišiel pozrieť, povedal Amnon kráľovi: „Nech príde, prosím, moja sestra Tamar a nech mi pred mojimi očami pripraví dva koláče, z jej ruky chcem jesť.“
6 (UKJV) So Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray you, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.

7 (HEM) וישלח דוד אל תמר הביתה לאמר לכי נא בית אמנון אחיך ועשי לו הבריה׃
7 (KAT) A Dávid poslal do domu po Tamar s odkazom: „Choď do domu svojho brata Amnona a priprav mu pokrm!“
7 (UKJV) Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to your brother Amnon's house, and dress him food.

8 (HEM) ותלך תמר בית אמנון אחיה והוא שכב ותקח את הבצק ותלוש ותלבב לעיניו ותבשל את הלבבות׃
8 (KAT) Tamar išla do domu svojho brata Amnona, ktorý ležal. Vzala cesto, zamiesila, pred jeho očami narobila koláčov a koláče upiekla.
8 (UKJV) "So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and he was laid down. And she took flour, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes. "

9 (HEM) ותקח את המשרת ותצק לפניו וימאן לאכול ויאמר אמנון הוציאו כל איש מעלי ויצאו כל איש מעליו׃

10 (UKJV) And Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the food into the chamber, that I may eat of your hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.

11 (UKJV) And when she had brought them unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister.

12 (HEM) ותאמר לו אל אחי אל תענני כי לא יעשה כן בישראל אל תעשה את הנבלה הזאת׃
12 (KAT) Ale ona mu povedala: „Nie, brat môj, nezneucti ma! Veď sa v Izraeli takéto nesmie robiť! Nedopusť sa tej nehanebnosti!
12 (UKJV) "And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not you this folly. "

13 (HEM) ואני אנה אוליך את חרפתי ואתה תהיה כאחד הנבלים בישראל ועתה דבר נא אל המלך כי לא ימנעני ממך׃
13 (KAT) Kdeže ja potom pôjdem so svojou hanbou? A ty budeš v Izraeli ako nejaký nehanebník. Ale hovor s kráľom, on ma neodoprie tebe.“
13 (UKJV) "And I, where shall I cause my shame to go? and as for you, you shall be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray you, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from you. "

14 (HEM) ולא אבה לשמע בקולה ויחזק ממנה ויענה וישכב אתה׃

14 (UKJV) Nevertheless he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.

15 (HEM) וישנאה אמנון שנאה גדולה מאד כי גדולה השנאה אשר שנאה מאהבה אשר אהבה ויאמר לה אמנון קומי לכי׃
15 (KAT) Potom k nej Amnon pocítil veľký odpor. Odpor, ktorý k nej pociťoval, bol väčší ako láska, ktorou ju miloval. Preto jej Amnon rozkázal: „Zober sa a choď!“
15 (UKJV) "Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone. "

16 (HEM) ותאמר לו אל אודת הרעה הגדולה הזאת מאחרת אשר עשית עמי לשלחני ולא אבה לשמע לה׃

16 (UKJV) And she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that you did unto me. But he would not hearken unto her.

17 (HEM) ויקרא את נערו משרתו ויאמר שלחו נא את זאת מעלי החוצה ונעל הדלת אחריה׃
17 (KAT) I zavolal mládenca, ktorý ho obsluhoval, a povedal mu: „Vyžeň túto odo mňa von na ulicu a zapri za ňou dvere!“
17 (UKJV) Then he called his servant that ministered unto him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.

18 (HEM) ועליה כתנת פסים כי כן תלבשן בנות המלך הבתולת מעילים ויצא אותה משרתו החוץ ונעל הדלת אחריה׃
18 (KAT) Mala na sebe dlhú tuniku, lebo kráľovské dcéry sa oddávna, kým boli panny, takto obliekali. Jeho sluha ju vyhnal na ulicu a zaprel za ňou dvere.
18 (UKJV) And she had a garment of divers colours upon her: for with such robes were the king's daughters that were virgins apparelled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.

19 (HEM) ותקח תמר אפר על ראשה וכתנת הפסים אשר עליה קרעה ותשם ידה על ראשה ותלך הלוך וזעקה׃
19 (KAT) Tamar si dala na hlavu popol, dlhú tuniku, ktorú mala na sebe, roztrhla, ruky si položila na hlavu, išla a nepretržite volala.
19 (UKJV) And Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.

20 (HEM) ויאמר אליה אבשלום אחיה האמינון אחיך היה עמך ועתה אחותי החרישי אחיך הוא אל תשיתי את לבך לדבר הזה ותשב תמר ושממה בית אבשלום אחיה׃
20 (KAT) Vtom ju oslovil jej brat Absolón: „Bol azda s tebou tvoj brat Amnon? Tak buď teraz ticho, sestra. Je to tvoj brat, neber si túto vec k srdcu!“ Tamar potom ostala opustená v dome svojho brata Absolóna.

21 (UKJV) But when king David heard of all these things, he was very angry.

22 (HEM) ולא דבר אבשלום עם אמנון למרע ועד טוב כי שנא אבשלום את אמנון על דבר אשר ענה את תמר אחתו׃
22 (KAT) Absolón sa však nezhováral s Amnonom ani po zlom, ani po dobrom, lebo Absolón nenávidel Amnona za to, že potupil jeho sestru Tamar.
22 (UKJV) And Absalom spoke unto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.

23 (HEM) ויהי לשנתים ימים ויהיו גזזים לאבשלום בבעל חצור אשר עם אפרים ויקרא אבשלום לכל בני המלך׃
23 (KAT) Po dvoch rokoch sa stalo, že boli strihačky u Absolóna v Bálhasore, ktorý je pri Efraime. Absolón pozval všetkých kráľových synov.
23 (UKJV) And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in Baalhazor, which is beside Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king's sons.

24 (HEM) ויבא אבשלום אל המלך ויאמר הנה נא גזזים לעבדך ילך נא המלך ועבדיו עם עבדך׃
24 (KAT) Absolón išiel ku kráľovi a povedal: „Hľa, u tvojho sluhu sú strihačky; nech príde, prosím, so svojím sluhom kráľ a jeho sluhovia.“
24 (UKJV) "And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, your servant has sheepshearers; let the king, I plead to you, and his servants go with your servant. "

25 (HEM) ויאמר המלך אל אבשלום אל בני אל נא נלך כלנו ולא נכבד עליך ויפרץ בו ולא אבה ללכת ויברכהו׃
25 (KAT) Kráľ odpovedal Absolónovi: „Nie, synu, nepôjdeme všetci, aby sme ti neboli na ťarchu.“ On naliehal naň, ale nechcel ísť a požehnal ho.
25 (UKJV) And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto you. And he pressed him: nevertheless he would not go, but blessed him.

26 (UKJV) Then said Absalom, If not, I pray you, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with you?

27 (HEM) ויפרץ בו אבשלום וישלח אתו את אמנון ואת כל בני המלך׃
27 (KAT) Ale Absolón naň naliehal, takže s ním pustil Amnona a všetkých kráľovských synov. (Absolón pripravil kráľovskú hostinu.)
27 (UKJV) But Absalom pressed him, that he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him.

28 (HEM) ויצו אבשלום את נעריו לאמר ראו נא כטוב לב אמנון ביין ואמרתי אליכם הכו את אמנון והמתם אתו אל תיראו הלוא כי אנכי צויתי אתכם חזקו והיו לבני חיל׃

29 (HEM) ויעשו נערי אבשלום לאמנון כאשר צוה אבשלום ויקמו כל בני המלך וירכבו איש על פרדו וינסו׃

29 (UKJV) And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king's sons arose, and every man got him up upon his mule, and fled.

30 (HEM) ויהי המה בדרך והשמעה באה אל דוד לאמר הכה אבשלום את כל בני המלך ולא נותר מהם אחד׃
30 (KAT) Kým ešte boli na ceste, došiel k Dávidovi chýr: „Absolón pobil všetkých kráľových synov, neostal z nich ani jeden.“
30 (UKJV) And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom has slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.

31 (HEM) ויקם המלך ויקרע את בגדיו וישכב ארצה וכל עבדיו נצבים קרעי בגדים׃
31 (KAT) Nato kráľ vstal, roztrhol si rúcho, ležal na zemi a všetci jeho sluhovia stáli s roztrhnutým rúchom.
31 (UKJV) "Then the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent. "

32 (HEM) ויען יונדב בן שמעה אחי דוד ויאמר אל יאמר אדני את כל הנערים בני המלך המיתו כי אמנון לבדו מת כי על פי אבשלום היתה שימה מיום ענתו את תמר אחתו׃
32 (KAT) Vtom sa ozval Jonadab, syn Dávidovho brata Semu, a povedal: „Nech nehovorí môj pán, že pobili všetkých mladíkov, kráľových synov. Zomrel iba sám Amnon, lebo (jeho) osud bol na Absolónovej tvári odo dňa, čo potupil jeho sestru Tamar.
32 (UKJV) "And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that they have slain all the young men the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this has been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar. "

33 (HEM) ועתה אל ישם אדני המלך אל לבו דבר לאמר כל בני המלך מתו כי אם אמנון לבדו מת׃

34 (UKJV) But Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behind him.

35 (HEM) ויאמר יונדב אל המלך הנה בני המלך באו כדבר עבדך כן היה׃
35 (KAT) Nato Jonadab hovoril kráľovi: „To idú kráľovi synovia! Stalo sa tak, ako hovoril tvoj sluha.“
35 (UKJV) And Jonadab said unto the king, Behold, the king's sons come: as your servant said, so it is.

36 (HEM) ויהי ככלתו לדבר והנה בני המלך באו וישאו קולם ויבכו וגם המלך וכל עבדיו בכו בכי גדול מאד׃
36 (KAT) Keď dohovoril, došli kráľovi synovia, pozdvihli hlas a plakali. Aj kráľ a všetci jeho sluhovia plakali veľmi veľkým plačom.
36 (UKJV) And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.

37 (HEM) ואבשלום ברח וילך אל תלמי בן עמיחור מלך גשור ויתאבל על בנו כל הימים׃
37 (KAT) Absolón utiekol a išiel k Amiudovmu synovi Tolmajovi, kráľovi Gesuru. (A Dávid) smútil za svojím synom celý čas.
37 (UKJV) But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.

39 (HEM) ותכל דוד המלך לצאת אל אבשלום כי נחם על אמנון כי מת׃

39 (UKJV) And the soul of king David longed to go forth unto Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
