1 (HEM) וישלח יהוה את נתן אל דוד ויבא אליו ויאמר לו שני אנשים היו בעיר אחת אחד עשיר ואחד ראש׃
1 (KAT) Preto Pán poslal k Dávidovi Nátana. On šiel k nemu a povedal mu: „V ktoromsi meste boli dvaja mužovia, jeden bohatý a jeden chudobný.
1 (UKJV) "And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. "

2 (HEM) לעשיר היה צאן ובקר הרבה מאד׃
2 (KAT) Bohatý mal veľké množstvo oviec a dobytka.
2 (UKJV) The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:

3 (HEM) ולרש אין כל כי אם כבשה אחת קטנה אשר קנה ויחיה ותגדל עמו ועם בניו יחדו מפתו תאכל ומכסו תשתה ובחיקו תשכב ותהי לו כבת׃
3 (KAT) Chudobný zas nemal nič, len malú ovečku, ktorú si kúpil a vychoval. Rástla spolu s ním a s jeho deťmi. Jedla z jeho smidky, pila z jeho pohára, spala v jeho lone a bola mu ako dcéra.
3 (UKJV) "But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own food, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter. "

4 (HEM) ויבא הלך לאיש העשיר ויחמל לקחת מצאנו ומבקרו לעשות לארח הבא לו ויקח את כבשת האיש הראש ויעשה לאיש הבא אליו׃
4 (KAT) Tu prišiel k bohatému mužovi pocestný a jemu bolo ľúto vziať zo svojich oviec a zo svojho dobytka a pripraviť to pocestnému, ktorý k nemu prišiel, preto vzal ovečku chudobného muža a pripravil ju mužovi, ktorý k nemu prišiel.“
4 (UKJV) "And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the travelling man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him. "

5 (HEM) ויחר אף דוד באיש מאד ויאמר אל נתן חי יהוה כי בן מות האיש העשה זאת׃
5 (KAT) Dávid sa veľmi rozhneval na toho človeka a povedal Nátanovi: „Ako žije Pán, človek, ktorý to urobil, je synom smrti.
5 (UKJV) "And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD lives, the man that has done this thing shall surely die: "

6 (HEM) ואת הכבשה ישלם ארבעתים עקב אשר עשה את הדבר הזה ועל אשר לא חמל׃
6 (KAT) A ovečku vynahradí štvornásobne, pretože sa dopustil tejto veci a nemal zľutovanie.“
6 (UKJV) And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.

7 (HEM) ויאמר נתן אל דוד אתה האיש כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל אנכי משחתיך למלך על ישראל ואנכי הצלתיך מיד שאול׃
7 (KAT) Nátan povedal Dávidovi: „Ty si ten muž! Toto hovorí Pán, Boh Izraela: Ja som ťa pomazal za kráľa nad Izraelom a ja som ťa vyslobodil zo Šaulovej ruky.
7 (UKJV) "And Nathan said to David, You are the man. Thus says the LORD God of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul; "

8 (HEM) ואתנה לך את בית אדניך ואת נשי אדניך בחיקך ואתנה לך את בית ישראל ויהודה ואם מעט ואספה לך כהנה וכהנה׃
8 (KAT) Dal som ti dom tvojho pána a ženy tvojho pána do lona a dal som ti dom Izraela a dom Júdu a ak je to málo, doložím ti to i ono.
8 (UKJV) "And I gave you your master's house, and your master's wives into your bosom, and gave you the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto you such and such things. "

9 (HEM) מדוע בזית את דבר יהוה לעשות הרע בעינו את אוריה החתי הכית בחרב ואת אשתו לקחת לך לאשה ואתו הרגת בחרב בני עמון׃
9 (KAT) Prečo si opovrhol Pánovým slovom, že si urobil, čo sa mu nepáči?! Hetejca Uriáša si zabil mečom a jeho manželku si si vzal za ženu. Zabil si ho mečom Amončanov.
9 (UKJV) Wherefore have you despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? you have killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

10 (HEM) ועתה לא תסור חרב מביתך עד עולם עקב כי בזתני ותקח את אשת אוריה החתי להיות לך לאשה׃
10 (KAT) Preto od tvojho domu nikdy neodstúpi meč, lebo si opovrhol mnou a vzal si si manželku Hetejca Uriáša, aby bola tvojou ženou.
10 (UKJV) "Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house; because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife. "

11 (HEM) כה אמר יהוה הנני מקים עליך רעה מביתך ולקחתי את נשיך לעיניך ונתתי לרעיך ושכב עם נשיך לעיני השמש הזאת׃
11 (KAT) Toto hovorí Pán: Hľa, ja z tvojho vlastného domu dopustím na teba nešťastie; pred tvojimi očami vezmem tvoje ženy a dám ich inému. On bude spať s tvojimi ženami pred očami tohoto slnka.
11 (UKJV) Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house, and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them unto your neighbour, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.

12 (HEM) כי אתה עשית בסתר ואני אעשה את הדבר הזה נגד כל ישראל ונגד השמש׃
12 (KAT) Lebo ty si to urobil potajomky, ale ja urobím túto vec pred celým Izraelom a pred slnkom.“
12 (UKJV) For you did it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

13 (HEM) ויאמר דוד אל נתן חטאתי ליהוה ויאמר נתן אל דוד גם יהוה העביר חטאתך לא תמות׃
13 (KAT) Dávid povedal Nátanovi: „Zhrešil som proti Pánovi!“ A Nátan vravel Dávidovi: „Aj Pán ti odpustil hriech, nezomrieš!
13 (UKJV) "And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die. "

14 (HEM) אפס כי נאץ נאצת את איבי יהוה בדבר הזה גם הבן הילוד לך מות ימות׃
14 (KAT) Že si však touto vecou zavinil rúhanie u Pánových nepriateľov, syn, ktorý sa ti narodí, iste zomrie!“
14 (UKJV) Nevertheless, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto you shall surely die.

15 (HEM) וילך נתן אל ביתו ויגף יהוה את הילד אשר ילדה אשת אוריה לדוד ויאנש׃
15 (KAT) Potom Nátan odišiel domov. Pán však udrel dieťa, ktoré Dávidovi porodila Uriášova manželka, a ochorelo.
15 (UKJV) And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

16 (HEM) ויבקש דוד את האלהים בעד הנער ויצם דוד צום ובא ולן ושכב ארצה׃
16 (KAT) Dávid prosil Boha za chlapca, Dávid sa prísne postil a keď prišiel (domov), ležal celú noc na zemi.
16 (UKJV) "David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth. "

17 (HEM) ויקמו זקני ביתו עליו להקימו מן הארץ ולא אבה ולא ברא אתם לחם׃
17 (KAT) Starší jeho domu pristúpili k nemu a chceli ho zdvihnúť zo zeme. Ale nechcel, ani s nimi nejedol.
17 (UKJV) And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

18 (HEM) ויהי ביום השביעי וימת הילד ויראו עבדי דוד להגיד לו כי מת הילד כי אמרו הנה בהיות הילד חי דברנו אליו ולא שמע בקולנו ואיך נאמר אליו מת הילד ועשה רעה׃
18 (KAT) Na siedmy deň chlapec zomrel. A Dávidovi sluhovia sa báli oznámiť mu, že dieťa zomrelo. Vraveli si: „Kým chlapec ešte žil, prihovárali sme sa mu, a nepočúval na náš hlas. Akože mu povieme: »Chlapec umrel.«?! Veď porobí zle!“
18 (UKJV) And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?

19 (HEM) וירא דוד כי עבדיו מתלחשים ויבן דוד כי מת הילד ויאמר דוד אל עבדיו המת הילד ויאמרו מת׃
19 (KAT) Dávid videl, že si jeho sluhovia pošuškávajú. Dávid pochopil, že chlapec zomrel. A Dávid sa spýtal svojich sluhov: „Zomrel chlapec?“ Odpovedali: „Zomrel.“
19 (UKJV) But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.

20 (HEM) ויקם דוד מהארץ וירחץ ויסך ויחלף שמלתו ויבא בית יהוה וישתחו ויבא אל ביתו וישאל וישימו לו לחם ויאכל׃
20 (KAT) Tu Dávid vstal zo zeme, umyl sa a pomazal, vzal si iné šaty, išiel do Pánovho domu a klaňal sa. Potom šiel domov, žiadal, aby mu predložili pokrm, a jedol.
20 (UKJV) "Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. "

21 (HEM) ויאמרו עבדיו אליו מה הדבר הזה אשר עשיתה בעבור הילד חי צמת ותבך וכאשר מת הילד קמת ותאכל לחם׃
21 (KAT) Jeho sluhovia sa ho pýtali: „Čo to znamená, čo robíš? Kým bol chlapec živý, postil si sa a plakal si a keď chlapec zomrel, vstávaš a ješ!“
21 (UKJV) "Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that you have done? you did fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, you did rise and eat bread. "

22 (HEM) ויאמר בעוד הילד חי צמתי ואבכה כי אמרתי מי יודע יחנני יהוה וחי הילד׃
22 (KAT) Odpovedal: „Kým chlapec žil, postil som sa a plakal som, lebo som si vravel: Ktovie, azda sa Pán zmiluje a chlapec ostane nažive.
22 (UKJV) And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?

23 (HEM) ועתה מת למה זה אני צם האוכל להשיבו עוד אני הלך אליו והוא לא ישוב אלי׃
23 (KAT) Teraz je však mŕtvy, načo by som sa postil? Môžem ho vari ešte vrátiť späť? Ja pôjdem za ním, ale on sa ku mne nevráti.“
23 (UKJV) But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

24 (HEM) וינחם דוד את בת שבע אשתו ויבא אליה וישכב עמה ותלד בן ויקרא את שמו שלמה ויהוה אהבו׃
24 (KAT) Potom Dávid tešil svoju ženu Betsabe, vošiel k nej a spal s ňou. I porodila syna, ktorého nazval Šalamúnom. Pán ho miloval.
24 (UKJV) And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.

25 (HEM) וישלח ביד נתן הנביא ויקרא את שמו ידידיה בעבור יהוה׃
25 (KAT) A Pán ho prostredníctvom proroka Nátana dal s ohľadom na Pána nazvať Jedidjá.
25 (UKJV) "And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD. "

26 (HEM) וילחם יואב ברבת בני עמון וילכד את עיר המלוכה׃
26 (KAT) Joab však bojoval pri Rabe Amončanov a zaujal kráľovské mesto.
26 (UKJV) And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.

27 (HEM) וישלח יואב מלאכים אל דוד ויאמר נלחמתי ברבה גם לכדתי את עיר המים׃
27 (KAT) Joab poslal k Dávidovi poslov so správou: „Bojoval som proti Rabe a Vodné mesto som aj zaujal.
27 (UKJV) And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.

28 (HEM) ועתה אסף את יתר העם וחנה על העיר ולכדה פן אלכד אני את העיר ונקרא שמי עליה׃
28 (KAT) Preto teraz zhromaždi ostatok mužstva, obliehaj mesto a doby ho, aby som nedobyl mesto ja, lebo by sa nazvalo mojím menom.“
28 (UKJV) Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and camp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be called after my name.

29 (HEM) ויאסף דוד את כל העם וילך רבתה וילחם בה וילכדה׃
29 (KAT) Nato Dávid pozbieral všetko mužstvo, išiel k Rabe, bojoval proti nej a dobyl ju.
29 (UKJV) And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.

30 (HEM) ויקח את עטרת מלכם מעל ראשו ומשקלה ככר זהב ואבן יקרה ותהי על ראש דוד ושלל העיר הוציא הרבה מאד׃
30 (KAT) Vzal korunu ich kráľa z jeho hlavy, ktorá vážila hrivnu zlata a bol na nej drahokam, ktorý sa dostal na Dávidovu hlavu. Z mesta odniesli veľké množstvo koristi.
30 (UKJV) And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.

31 (HEM) ואת העם אשר בה הוציא וישם במגרה ובחרצי הברזל ובמגזרת הברזל והעביר אותם במלכן וכן יעשה לכל ערי בני עמון וישב דוד וכל העם ירושלם׃
31 (KAT) A ľud, ktorý v ňom bol, vyviedol, roztrhal pílami, železnými mláťačkami a železnými sekerami a pohádzal ich do tehliarskej pece. Podobne naložil so všetkými mestami Amončanov. Potom sa Dávid a celé vojsko vrátilo do Jeruzalema.
31 (UKJV) And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick-kiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.
