1 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה לנח בא אתה וכל ביתך אל התבה כי אתך ראיתי צדיק לפני בדור הזה׃

2 (HEM) מכל הבהמה הטהורה תקח לך שבעה שבעה איש ואשתו ומן הבהמה אשר לא טהרה הוא שנים איש ואשתו׃

5 (HEM) ויעש נח ככל אשר צוהו יהוה׃

6 (HEM) ונח בן שש מאות שנה והמבול היה מים על הארץ׃

6 (UKJV) And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

7 (HEM) ויבא נח ובניו ואשתו ונשי בניו אתו אל התבה מפני מי המבול׃
7 (KAT) I vošiel Noe a s ním aj jeho synovia, jeho žena a ženy jeho synov pred zátopou vody do korába.

9 (HEM) שנים שנים באו אל נח אל התבה זכר ונקבה כאשר צוה אלהים את נח׃
9 (KAT) vošlo po dvoch, samec a samica, do korába s Noemom, ako mu prikázal Pán.
9 (UKJV) There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

10 (HEM) ויהי לשבעת הימים ומי המבול היו על הארץ׃
10 (KAT) Po siedmich dňoch sa privalili na zem vody potopy.
10 (UKJV) And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

11 (HEM) בשנת שש מאות שנה לחיי נח בחדש השני בשבעה עשר יום לחדש ביום הזה נבקעו כל מעינת תהום רבה וארבת השמים נפתחו׃
11 (KAT) V šesťstom roku Noemovho života, v druhom mesiaci, na sedemnásty deň mesiaca vyvalili sa všetky pramene veľkej hlbočiny a otvorili sa nebeské priepusty.
11 (UKJV) In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

12 (HEM) ויהי הגשם על הארץ ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה׃
12 (KAT) A pršalo na zem štyridsať dní a štyridsať nocí.
12 (UKJV) And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 (HEM) בעצם היום הזה בא נח ושם וחם ויפת בני נח ואשת נח ושלשת נשי בניו אתם אל התבה׃

15 (HEM) ויבאו אל נח אל התבה שנים שנים מכל הבשר אשר בו רוח חיים׃

15 (UKJV) And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

16 (HEM) והבאים זכר ונקבה מכל בשר באו כאשר צוה אתו אלהים ויסגר יהוה בעדו׃
16 (KAT) A čo vošlo, bol samec a samica z každého živočícha, ako mu prikázal Boh. A Pán zavrel Noema zvonku.
16 (UKJV) And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

17 (HEM) ויהי המבול ארבעים יום על הארץ וירבו המים וישאו את התבה ותרם מעל הארץ׃
17 (KAT) I nastala štyridsaťdenná potopa na zemi. Vody pribúdali a vyzdvihli koráb zo zeme do výšky.
17 (UKJV) "And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. "

18 (HEM) ויגברו המים וירבו מאד על הארץ ותלך התבה על פני המים׃
18 (KAT) Vody veľmi stúpali a zaplavili všetko na zemskom povrchu, koráb však plával na vodách.
18 (UKJV) "And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. "

19 (HEM) והמים גברו מאד מאד על הארץ ויכסו כל ההרים הגבהים אשר תחת כל השמים׃
19 (KAT) A vody vzrastali ďalej na zemi, takže zaliali všetky, aj vysoké vrchy, ktoré sú pod šírym nebom.
19 (UKJV) "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. "

21 (UKJV) And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man:

22 (HEM) כל אשר נשמת רוח חיים באפיו מכל אשר בחרבה מתו׃
22 (KAT) Všetko, čo malo v nozdrách dych života, všetko, čo žilo na suchu, zomrelo.
22 (UKJV) All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

23 (HEM) וימח את כל היקום אשר על פני האדמה מאדם עד בהמה עד רמש ועד עוף השמים וימחו מן הארץ וישאר אך נח ואשר אתו בתבה׃

23 (UKJV) "And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. "

24 (HEM) ויגברו המים על הארץ חמשים ומאת יום׃

24 (UKJV) And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
