1 (UKJV) "And the LORD said unto Noah, Come you and all your house into the ark; for you have I seen righteous before me in this generation. "
1 (ROH) Potom riekol Hospodin Noachovi: Vojdi do korábu ty i celý tvoj dom, lebo teba som videl spravedlivého pred sebou v tomto pokolení.

2 (UKJV) Of every clean beast you shall take to you by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
2 (ROH) Zo všetkých hoviad čistých si vezmeš po sedmoro, vše samca i jeho samicu, ale z hoviad, ktoré nie sú čisté, vezmeš po dvoje, samca i jeho samicu,

3 (UKJV) "Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. "
3 (ROH) tiež i z nebeského vtáctva po sedmoro, samca i samicu, aby bolo živé zachované semä na tvári celej zeme.

4 (UKJV) "For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. "
4 (ROH) Lebo ešte pominie sedem dní, a dám pršať na zem štyridsať dní a štyridsať nocí a zahladím s tvári zeme každú bytosť, ktorú som učinil.

5 (UKJV) And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.
5 (ROH) Vtedy učinil Noach všetko tak, ako mu to prikázal Hospodin.

6 (UKJV) And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
6 (ROH) A Noach mal šesťsto rokov vtedy, keď prišla potopa, voda na zem.

7 (UKJV) And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
7 (ROH) A tak vošiel Noach i jeho synovia i jeho žena i ženy jeho synov s ním do korábu pred vodami potopy.

8 (UKJV) Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creeps upon the earth,
8 (ROH) Z čistých hoviad i z hoviad, ktoré nie sú čisté, i z vtáctva i zo všetkého, čo sa plazí na zemi,

9 (UKJV) There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
9 (ROH) po dvoje vošly k Noachovi do korábu, vše samec a samica tak, ako Bôh prikázal Noachovi.

10 (UKJV) And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
10 (ROH) Potom stalo sa po siedmich dňoch, že prišly vody potopy na zem.

11 (UKJV) In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
11 (ROH) V roku šesťsto života Noachovho, druhého mesiaca, sedemnásteho dňa toho mesiaca, toho dňa sa roztrhly všetky žriedla velikej priepasti, a otvorily sa prieduchy nebies.

12 (UKJV) And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
12 (ROH) A bol príval na zemi štyridsať dní a štyridsať nocí.

13 (UKJV) "In the very same day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; "
13 (ROH) Práve toho dňa vošiel Noach, Sem, Cham a Jafet, synovia Noachovi, i žena Noachova i tri ženy jeho synov s nimi do korábu,

14 (UKJV) They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
14 (ROH) oni i každé zviera podľa svojho druhu i každé hovädo podľa svojho druhu i každý plaz, ktorý sa plazí na zemi, podľa svojho druhu i každý vták podľa svojho druhu, všetko, čo je vták, všetko okrýdlené.

15 (UKJV) And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
15 (ROH) A vošli k Noachovi do korábu, dve a dve z každého tela, v ktorom je duch života.

16 (UKJV) And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
16 (ROH) A tie, ktoré vošly, vošly samec a samica z každého tela tak, ako mu bol prikázal Bôh. A Hospodin zavrel za ním.

17 (UKJV) "And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. "
17 (ROH) A keď bola potopa štyridsať dní na zemi, vtedy rozmnožily sa vody a zodvihly koráb, a vzniesol sa hore od zeme.

18 (UKJV) "And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. "
18 (ROH) A vody zmocnely a veľmi sa rozmnožily na zemi, a koráb sa niesol na vodách.

19 (UKJV) "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. "
19 (ROH) A vody náramne zmohutnely na zemi, a pokryly sa všetky, i tie najvyššie vrchy, ktoré boly pod celým nebom;

20 (UKJV) "Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. "
20 (ROH) pätnásť lakťov vozvýš zmohutnely vody a pokryly vrchy.

21 (UKJV) And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man:
21 (ROH) A tak zomrelo každé telo, ktoré sa hýbe na zemi: z vtáctva, z hoviad, z poľných zvierat, zo všetkého hmyzu, ktorý sa hemží na zemi, i každý človek.

22 (UKJV) All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
22 (ROH) Všetko, čo malo dych ducha života vo svojich nozdrách zo všetkého, čo žilo na suchu, zomrelo.

23 (UKJV) "And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. "
23 (ROH) A tak vyhladil Bôh každú bytosť, ktorá bola na tvári zeme, od človeka až do hoväda, až do plazu a do nebeského vtáka; všetko bolo vyhladené zo zeme, a zostal iba Noach a to, čo bolo s ním v korábe.

24 (UKJV) And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
24 (ROH) A vody mocnely na zemi sto päťdesiat dní.
