1 (UKJV) "Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen. "
1 (ROH) Potom prišiel Jozef a oznámil faraonovi a riekol: Môj otec i moji bratia prišli so svojím drobným stádom a so svojím hovädzím dobytkom i so všetkým, čo majú, z Kananejskej zeme, a hľa, sú v zemi Gózena.

2 (UKJV) And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.
2 (ROH) A pojal niekoľkých svojich bratov, piatich mužov, a postavil ich pred faraonom.

3 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Your servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.
3 (ROH) A faraon povedal jeho bratom: Čo je vaše zamestnanie? A oni riekli faraonovi: Tvoji služobníci sú pastieri stáda; to sme my a to boli aj naši otcovia.

4 (UKJV) "They said moreover unto Pharaoh, In order to sojourn in the land are we come; for your servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray you, let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen. "
4 (ROH) A ešte riekli faraonovi: Prišli sme pohostíniť tu v zemi, lebo niet paše pre stádo, ktoré majú tvoji služobníci, lebo je veľký hlad v Kananejskej zemi, a tak teraz nech bývajú, prosíme, tvoji služobníci v zemi Gózena.
4 (RIV) Poi dissero a Faraone: "Siam venuti per dimorare in questo paese, perché nel paese di Canaan non c’è pastura per i greggi dei tuoi servitori; poiché la carestia v’è grave; deh, permetti ora che i tuoi servi dimorino nel paese di Goscen".

5 (UKJV) And Pharaoh spoke unto Joseph, saying, Your father and your brethren are come unto you:
5 (ROH) A faraon povedal Jozefovi a riekol: Tvoj otec a tvoji bratia prišli k tebe.
5 (RIV) E Faraone parlò a Giuseppe dicendo: "Tuo padre e i tuoi fratelli son venuti da te;

6 (UKJV) "The land of Egypt is before you; in the best of the land make your father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if you know any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle. "
6 (ROH) Egyptská zem je pred tebou. Osaď svojho otca a svojich bratov v najlepšom kraji zeme. Nech bývajú v zemi Gózena. A jestli znáš, že sú medzi nimi súci mužovia chrabrí, ustanovíš ich za správcov nad dobytkom, ktorý mám ja.
6 (RIV) il paese d’Egitto ti sta dinanzi; fa’ abitare tuo padre e i tuoi fratelli nella parte migliore del paese; dimorino pure nel paese di Goscen; e se conosci fra loro degli uomini capaci, falli sovrintendenti del mio bestiame".

7 (UKJV) And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.
7 (ROH) Potom voviedol Jozef Jakoba, svojho otca, a postavil ho pred faraonom. A Jakob požehnal faraona.
7 (RIV) Poi Giuseppe menò Giacobbe suo padre da Faraone, e glielo presentò. E Giacobbe benedisse Faraone.

8 (UKJV) And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old are you?
8 (ROH) A faraon povedal Jakobovi: Koľko je dní rokov tvojho života?
8 (RIV) E Faraone disse a Giacobbe: "Quanti sono i giorni del tempo della tua vita?"

9 (UKJV) And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.
9 (ROH) A Jakob odpovedal faraonovi: Dní rokov môjho putovania je sto tridsať rokov. Málo ich bolo, a zlé boly dni rokov môjho života a nedosiahly počtu dní rokov života mojich otcov za dní ich putovania.
9 (RIV) Giacobbe rispose a Faraone: "I giorni del tempo de’ miei pellegrinaggi sono centotrent’anni; i giorni del tempo della mia vita sono stati pochi e cattivi, e non hanno raggiunto il numero dei giorni della vita de’ miei padri, ai dì dei loro pellegrinaggi".

10 (UKJV) And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.
10 (ROH) A Jakob požehnal faraona a vyšiel zpred tvári faraonovej.
10 (RIV) Giacobbe benedisse ancora Faraone, e si ritirò dalla presenza di lui.

11 (UKJV) And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.
11 (ROH) A Jozef osadil svojho otca a svojich bratov a dal im vlastníctvo v Egyptskej zemi, v najlepšom kraji zeme, v zemi Ramsesa, jako to rozkázal faraon.

12 (UKJV) And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's household, with bread, according to their families.

13 (UKJV) "And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine. "
13 (ROH) A nebolo chleba v celej zemi, pretože bol hlad veľmi veliký. A Egyptská zem i Kananejská zem bola celá vypráhla od hladu.
13 (RIV) Or in tutto il paese non c’era pane, perché la carestia era gravissima; il paese d’Egitto e il paese di Canaan languivano a motivo della carestia.

14 (UKJV) And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.
14 (ROH) A Jozef sobral všetky peniaze, ktoré sa našly v Egyptskej zemi a v Kananejskej zemi, za obilie, ktoré kupovali, a Jozef vniesol peniaze do domu faraonovho.
14 (RIV) Giuseppe ammassò tutto il danaro che si trovava nel paese d’Egitto e nel paese di Canaan, come prezzo del grano che si comprava; e Giuseppe portò questo danaro nella casa di Faraone.

15 (UKJV) And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in your presence? for the money fails.
15 (ROH) A keď už nebolo viacej peňazí v Egyptskej zemi ani v Kananejskej zemi, prichádzali všetci Egypťania k Jozefovi a vraveli: Daj nám chleba; lebo prečo máme zomrieť pred tebou, keď už nieto peňazí?
15 (RIV) E quando il danaro fu esaurito nel paese d’Egitto e nel paese di Canaan, tutti gli Egiziani vennero a Giuseppe e dissero: "Dacci del pane! Perché dovremmo morire in tua presenza? giacché il danaro è finito".

16 (UKJV) "And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail. "
16 (ROH) A Jozef riekol: Dajte svoj dobytok, a dám vám za váš dobytok, ak už nieto peňazí.
16 (RIV) E Giuseppe disse: "Date il vostro bestiame; e io vi darò del pane in cambio del vostro bestiame, se non avete più danaro".

17 (UKJV) And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.
17 (ROH) Vtedy doviedli svoj dobytok k Jozefovi. A Jozef im dal chleba za kone, za drobné stádo, za hovädzí statok a za oslov. A zaopatroval ich ten rok chlebom za všetok ich dobytok.
17 (RIV) E quelli menarono a Giuseppe il loro bestiame; e Giuseppe diede loro del pane in cambio dei loro cavalli, dei loro greggi di pecore, delle loro mandre di buoi e dei loro asini. Così fornì loro del pane per quell’anno, in cambio di tutto il loro bestiame.

18 (UKJV) "When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also has our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands: "
18 (ROH) A keď sa pominul ten rok, prišli k nemu druhého roku a povedali mu: Nebudeme tajiť pred svojím pánom, že sa minuly všetky peniaze, a hovädzí dobytok je u nášho pána. Nezostalo nám pred naším pánom ničoho krome nášho tela a našej zeme.
18 (RIV) Passato quell’anno, tornarono a lui l’anno seguente, e gli dissero: "Noi non celeremo al mio signore che, il danaro essendo esaurito e le mandre del nostro bestiame essendo passate al mio signore, nulla più resta che il mio signore possa prendere, tranne i nostri corpi e le nostre terre.

19 (UKJV) Wherefore shall we die before your eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
19 (ROH) Prečo máme pomrieť pred tvojimi očima i my i naša zem? Kúp nás i našu zem za chlieb, a budeme i my i naša zem služobníkmi faraonovi, a daj nám semä, aby sme žili a nepomreli, a nespustne zem.
19 (RIV) E perché dovremmo perire sotto gli occhi tuoi: noi e le nostre terre? Compra noi e le terre nostre in cambio di pane; e noi con le nostre terre saremo schiavi di Faraone; e dacci da seminare affinché possiam vivere e non moriamo, e il suolo non diventi un deserto".

20 (UKJV) "And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh's. "
20 (ROH) A tak kúpil Jozef všetku zem egyptskú faraonovi. Lebo Egypťania predali každý svoje pole, pretože silne doliehal na nich hlad, a zem sa dostala faraonovi.
20 (RIV) Così Giuseppe comprò per Faraone tutte le terre d’Egitto; giacché gli Egiziani venderono ognuno il suo campo, perché la carestia li colpiva gravemente. Così il paese diventò proprietà di Faraone.

21 (UKJV) And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.
21 (ROH) A čo do ľudu, previedol ho do miest od jedného konca hranice Egypta po druhý.
21 (RIV) Quanto al popolo, lo fece passare nelle città, da un capo all’altro dell’Egitto;

22 (UKJV) "Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands. "
22 (ROH) Len zeme kňazov nekúpil, lebo kňazi mali ustanovenú čiastku od faraona a jedli svoju ustanovenú čiastku, ktorú im dával faraon; preto nepredali svojej zeme.

23 (UKJV) Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and all of you shall sow the land.
23 (ROH) A Jozef riekol ľudu: Hľa, kúpil som vás dnes i vašu zem faraonovi. Tu máte semeno a budete osievať zem.
23 (RIV) E Giuseppe disse al popolo: "Ecco, oggi ho acquistato voi e le vostre terre per Faraone; eccovi del seme; seminate la terra;

24 (UKJV) And it shall come to pass in the increase, that all of you shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.
24 (ROH) A keď bude bývať úroda, dáte pätinu faraonovi, štyri čiastky budú vám na osievanie poľa a na pokrm vám i tomu, čo bude vo vašich domoch, a na pokrm vašim deťom.
24 (RIV) e al tempo della raccolta, ne darete il quinto a Faraone, e quattro parti saran vostre, per la sementa dei campi e per il nutrimento vostro, di quelli che sono in casa vostra, e per il nutrimento de’ vostri bambini".

25 (UKJV) And they said, You have saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.
25 (ROH) A povedali: Zachoval si nás pri živote. Nech najdeme milosť v očiach svojho pána a budeme služobníkmi faraonovi.
25 (RIV) E quelli dissero: "Tu ci hai salvato la vita! ci sia dato di trovar grazia agli occhi del mio signore, e saremo schiavi di Faraone!"

26 (UKJV) And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part, except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.
26 (ROH) A Jozef to učinil zákonom až do dnešného dňa na Egyptskej zemi, aby sa dával faraonovi piaty diel; iba zem samých kňazov nestala sa faraonovou.
26 (RIV) Giuseppe ne fece una legge, che dura fino al dì d’oggi, secondo la quale un quinto del reddito delle terre d’Egitto era per Faraone; non ci furono che le terre dei sacerdoti che non furon di Faraone.

27 (UKJV) "And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly. "
27 (ROH) A tak býval Izrael v Egyptskej zemi, v zemi Gózena, a vlastnili v nej a plodili sa a množili sa veľmi.
27 (RIV) Così gl’Israeliti abitarono nel paese d’Egitto, nel paese di Goscen; vi ebbero de’ possessi, vi s’accrebbero, e moltiplicarono oltremodo.

28 (UKJV) And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.
28 (ROH) A Jakob žil v Egyptskej zemi sedemnásť rokov. A Jakobových dní, rokov jeho života, bolo sto štyridsať sedem rokov.
28 (RIV) E Giacobbe visse nel paese d’Egitto diciassette anni; e i giorni di Giacobbe, gli anni della sua vita, furono centoquarantasette.

29 (UKJV) "And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in your sight, put, I pray you, your hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray you, in Egypt: "
29 (ROH) A priblížily sa dni Izraelove, aby zomrel. Vtedy zavolal svojho syna Jozefa a riekol mu: Ak som našiel milosť v tvojich očiach, polož, prosím, svoju ruku pod moje bedro a učiníš pri mne milosrdenstvo a pravdu. Nepochovaj ma, prosím, v Egypte.
29 (RIV) E quando Israele s’avvicinò al giorno della sua morte, chiamò il suo figliuolo Giuseppe, e gli disse: "Deh, se ho trovato grazia agli occhi tuoi, mettimi la mano sotto la coscia, e usami benignità e fedeltà; deh, non mi seppellire in Egitto!

30 (UKJV) But I will lie with my fathers, and you shall carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as you have said.
30 (ROH) Ale budem ležať so svojimi otcami, a vynesieš ma z Egypta a pochováš ma v ich pohrabišti. A riekol: Ja učiním podľa tvojho slova.
30 (RIV) ma, quando giacerò coi miei padri, portami fuori d’Egitto, e seppelliscimi nel loro sepolcro!"

31 (UKJV) And he said, Swear unto me. And he swore unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.
31 (ROH) Vtedy povedal: Prisahaj mi! A prisahal mu. A Izrael sa poklonil na hlavu svojej palice.
31 (RIV) Ed egli rispose: "Farò come tu dici". E Giacobbe disse: "Giuramelo". E Giuseppe glielo giurò. E Israele, vòlto al capo del letto, adorò.
