1 (SVD) فلما رأى يعقوب انه يوجد قمح في مصر قال يعقوب لبنيه لماذا تنظرون بعضكم الى بعض.
1 (VUL) Audiens autem Iacob quod alimenta venderentur in Ae gypto, dixit filiis suis: “ Quare aspicitis vos invicem?
1 (KAT) Keď sa Jakub dozvedel, že v Egypte majú obilie, povedal svojim synom: „Prečo hľadíte jeden na druhého?“
1 (UKJV) Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do all of you look one upon another?

2 (SVD) وقال اني قد سمعت انه يوجد قمح في مصر. انزلوا الى هناك واشتروا لنا من هناك لنحيا ولا نموت.
2 (VUL) Audivi quod triticum venumdetur in Aegypto; descendite et emite nobis necessaria, ut possimus vivere et non consumamur inopia ”.
2 (KAT) A pokračoval: „Pozrite, počul som, že v Egypte majú obilie. Choďte ta a nakúpte pre nás obilia, aby sme ostali na žive a nepomreli!“
2 (UKJV) "And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die. "

3 (SVD) فنزل عشرة من اخوة يوسف ليشتروا قمحا من مصر.
3 (VUL) Descenderunt igitur fratres Ioseph decem, ut emerent frumenta in Aegypto,
3 (KAT) I vybralo sa desať Jakubových synov do Egypta nakúpiť obilia.
3 (UKJV) And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.

4 (SVD) واما بنيامين اخو يوسف فلم يرسله يعقوب مع اخوته. لانه قال لعلّه تصيبه اذيّة
4 (VUL) Beniamin fratre Ioseph domi retento a Iacob, qui dixerat fratribus eius: “ Ne forte in itinere quidquam patiatur mali ”.
4 (KAT) Ale Jozefovho brata Benjamína Jakub neposlal s jeho bratmi, vravel, že by sa mu mohlo prihodiť nešťastie.
4 (UKJV) "But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest possibly mischief befall him. "

5 (SVD) فاتى بنو اسرائيل ليشتروا بين الذين اتوا. لان الجوع كان في ارض كنعان.
5 (VUL) Et ingressi sunt filii Israel terram Aegypti cum aliis, qui pergebant ad emendum. Erat autem fames in terra Chanaan.
5 (KAT) Takto prišli aj Izraelovi synovia medzi tými, čo putovali nakúpiť obilie. V krajine Kanaán bol totižto hrozný hlad.
5 (UKJV) And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan.

6 (SVD) وكان يوسف هو المسلّط على الارض وهو البائع لكل شعب الارض. فأتى اخوة يوسف وسجدوا له بوجوههم الى الارض.
6 (VUL) Et Ioseph erat princeps in terra Aegypti, atque ad eius nutum frumenta populis vendebantur. Cumque venissent et adorassent eum fratres sui proni in terram,
6 (KAT) A Jozef bol tým vladárom nad zemou, ktorý všetkým národom zeme predával obilie. Keď ta teda bratia došli, poklonili sa mu až po zem.
6 (UKJV) And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

7 (SVD) ولما نظر يوسف اخوته عرفهم. فتنكّر لهم وتكلم معهم بجفاء وقال لهم من اين جئتم. فقالوا من ارض كنعان لنشتري طعاما.
7 (VUL) et agnovisset eos, quasi ad alienos durius loquebatur interrogans eos: “ Unde venistis? ”. Qui responderunt: “ De terra Chanaan, ut emamus victui necessaria ”.
7 (KAT) Len čo Jozef videl svojich bratov, poznal ich. Správal sa však voči nim ako cudzí a prísno sa s nimi rozprával. Povedal im: „Odkiaľ ste prišli?“ Oni odpovedali: „Z krajiny Kanaán nakúpiť živobytie.“
7 (UKJV) "And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spoke roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come all of you? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food. "

8 (SVD) وعرف يوسف اخوته. واما هم فلم يعرفوه
8 (VUL) Et tamen fratres ipse cognoscens non est cognitus ab eis.
8 (KAT) A kým Jozef poznal svojich bratov, oni ho nepoznali.
8 (UKJV) And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.

9 (SVD) فتذكر يوسف الاحلام التي حلم عنهم وقال لهم جواسيس انتم. لتروا عورة الارض جئتم.
9 (VUL) Recordatusque somniorum, quae aliquando viderat, ait ad eos: “ Exploratores estis; ut videatis infirmiora terrae, venistis! ”.
9 (KAT) A Jozef si spomenul na sny, ktoré mal o nich. Tu im povedal: „Vy ste vyzvedači! Prišli ste sem, aby ste vyzvedeli, kde má táto krajina neopevnené miesta!“
9 (UKJV) "And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, All of you are spies; to see the nakedness of the land all of you are come. "

10 (SVD) فقالوا له لا يا سيدي. بل عبيدك جاءوا ليشتروا طعاما.
10 (VUL) Qui dixerunt: “ Non est ita, domine; sed servi tui venerunt, ut emerent cibos.
10 (KAT) Oni mu však vraveli: „Nie, pane! Naozaj, tvoji sluhovia prišli len živobytie nakúpiť!
10 (UKJV) And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are your servants come.

11 (SVD) نحن جميعنا بنو رجل واحد. نحن أمناء. ليس عبيدك جواسيس.
11 (VUL) Omnes filii unius viri sumus; sinceri sumus, nec quidquam famuli tui machinantur mali ”.
11 (KAT) My všetci sme synovia jedného muža. Počestní sme my ľudia. Tvoji sluhovia nie sú nijakí vyzvedači!“
11 (UKJV) "We are all one man's sons; we are true men, your servants are no spies. "

12 (SVD) فقال لهم كلا بل لتروا عورة الارض جئتم.
12 (VUL) Quibus ille respondit: “ Aliter est; immunita terrae huius considerare venistis! ”.
12 (KAT) Ale on im tvrdil: „Nie tak! Vy ste sem prišli, aby ste vyzvedeli, kde má táto krajina neopevnené miesto!“
12 (UKJV) And he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land all of you are come.

13 (SVD) فقالوا عبيدك اثنا عشر اخا. نحن بنو رجل واحد في ارض كنعان. وهوذا الصغير عند ابينا اليوم والواحد مفقود.
13 (VUL) At illi: “ Duodecim, inquiunt, servi tui fratres sumus filii viri unius in terra Chanaan; minimus cum patre nostro est, alius non est super ”.
13 (KAT) Oni opakovali: „Nás, tvojich sluhov, je dvanásť. Bratia sme, synovia jedného muža v kanaánskej krajine; a uver, najmladší je toho času pri našom otcovi a jedného už niet!“
13 (UKJV) "And they said, Your servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not. "

14 (SVD) فقال لهم يوسف ذلك ما كلمتكم به قائلا جواسيس انتم.
14 (VUL) “ Hoc est, ait, quod locutus sum: exploratores estis!
14 (KAT) Tu im Jozef povedal: „Je to tak, ako hovorím: Vyzvedači ste!
14 (UKJV) And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spoke unto you, saying, All of you are spies:

15 (SVD) بهذا تمتحنون. وحياة فرعون لا تخرجون من هنا الا بمجيء اخيكم الصغير الى هنا.
15 (VUL) Iam nunc experimentum vestri capiam: per salutem pharaonis, non egrediemini hinc, donec veniat frater vester minimus!
15 (KAT) V tomto vás vyskúšam. Pri faraónovom živote! Neodídete odtiaľto, kým sem nepríde váš najmladší brat.
15 (UKJV) Hereby all of you shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh all of you shall not go forth behind, except your youngest brother come here.

16 (SVD) ارسلوا منكم واحدا ليجيء باخيكم وانتم تحبسون. فيمتحن كلامكم هل عندكم صدق. وإلا فوحياة فرعون انكم لجواسيس.
16 (VUL) Mittite ex vobis unum, et adducat eum; vos autem eritis in vinculis, donec probentur, quae dixistis, utrum vera an falsa sint. Alioquin, per salutem pharaonis, exploratores estis! ”.
16 (KAT) Pošlite jedného z vás, nech privedie vášho brata, vy však budete vo väzení! A vyskúšajú sa vaše výpovede, či sú vaše reči pravdivé, alebo nie. Pri faraónovom živote! Vy ste vyzvedači!“
16 (UKJV) Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and all of you shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely all of you are spies.

17 (SVD) فجمعهم الى حبس ثلاثة ايام
17 (VUL) Tradidit ergo illos custodiae tribus diebus.
17 (KAT) Potom ich dal spolu na tri dni do väzenia.
17 (UKJV) And he put them all together into ward three days.

18 (SVD) ثم قال لهم يوسف في اليوم الثالث افعلوا هذا واحيوا. انا خائف الله.
18 (VUL) Die autem tertio eductis de carcere, ait: “ Facite, quae dixi, et vivetis; Deum enim timeo.
18 (KAT) Na tretí deň im Jozef povedal: „Ak chcete žiť, musíte to urobiť! Ja som taký, ktorý sa bojí Boha.
18 (UKJV) "And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God: "

19 (SVD) ان كنتم أمناء فليحبس اخ واحد منكم في بيت حبسكم وانطلقوا انتم وخذوا قمحا لمجاعة بيوتكم.
19 (VUL) Si sinceri estis, frater vester unus ligetur in carcere; vos autem abite et ferte frumenta, quae emistis, in domos vestras,
19 (KAT) Ak ste počestní ľudia, nech ostane jeden z vašich bratov v dome vášho väzenia a vy si naberte pre svoju hladujúcu rodinu obilie a choďte!
19 (UKJV) If all of you be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go all of you, carry corn for the famine of your houses:

20 (SVD) واحضروا اخاكم الصغير اليّ. فيتحقّق كلامكم ولا تموتوا. ففعلوا هكذا.
20 (VUL) et fratrem vestrum minimum ad me adducite, ut possim vestros probare sermones, et non moriamini ”. Fecerunt, ut dixerat,
20 (KAT) Ale svojho najmladšieho brata priveďte ku mne, aby sa dokázalo, že sú vaše reči pravdivé, a aby ste neprišli o život.“ Oni urobili, ako rozkázal,
20 (UKJV) "But bring your youngest brother unto me; so shall your words be verified, and all of you shall not die. And they did so. "

21 (SVD) وقالوا بعضهم لبعض حقّا اننا مذنبون الى اخينا الذي رأينا ضيقة نفسه لما استرحمنا ولم نسمع. لذلك جاءت علينا هذه الضيقة.
21 (VUL) et locuti sunt ad invicem: “ Merito haec patimur, quia peccavimus in fratrem nostrum videntes angustiam animae illius, cum deprecaretur nos, et non audivimus. Idcirco venit super nos ista tribulatio ”.
21 (KAT) a medzi sebou si vraveli: „Veru, previnili sme sa proti svojmu bratovi. Videli sme úzkosť jeho duše, keď nás úpenlivo prosil, ale my sme nepočúvali. Za to doľahlo na nás toto trápenie.“
21 (UKJV) "And they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress come upon us. "

22 (SVD) فاجابهم رأوبين قائلا ألم اكلمكم قائلا لا تأثموا بالولد وانتم لم تسمعوا. فهوذا دمه يطلب.
22 (VUL) Et Ruben ait: “ Numquid non dixi vobis: Nolite peccare in puerum? Et non audistis me. En sanguis eius exquiritur ”.
22 (KAT) A Ruben im vyčitoval takto: „Nevravel som vám: Nepreviňte sa proti chlapcovi!? No vy ste nechceli ani počuť. Hľa, teraz sa vyžaduje od nás jeho krv!“
22 (UKJV) "And Reuben answered them, saying, Spoke I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child; and all of you would not hear? therefore, behold, also his blood is required. "

23 (SVD) وهم لم يعلموا ان يوسف فاهم. لان الترجمان كان بينهم.
23 (VUL) Nesciebant autem quod intellegeret Ioseph, eo quod per interpretem loquebatur ad eos.
23 (KAT) Oni však nevedeli, že Jozef im rozumie, lebo (obyčajne) bol pri nich tlmočník.
23 (UKJV) "And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spoke unto them by an interpreter. "

24 (SVD) فتحول عنهم وبكى. ثم رجع اليهم وكلمهم. واخذ منهم شمعون وقيّده امام عيونهم
24 (VUL) Avertitque se parumper et flevit; et reversus locutus est ad eos.
24 (KAT) I odvrátil sa od nich a plakal. Potom sa obrátil k nim a zhováral sa s nimi. Nato dal spomedzi nich chytiť Simeona a pred ich očami ho dal zviazať.
24 (UKJV) "And he turned himself about from them, and wept; and returned to them again, and communed with them, and took from them Simeon, and bound him before their eyes. "

25 (SVD) ثم امر يوسف ان تملأ اوعيتهم قمحا وتردّ فضة كل واحد الى عدله وان يعطوا زادا للطريق. ففعل لهم هكذا.
25 (VUL) Tollensque Simeon et ligans, illis praesentibus, iussit ministris, ut implerent eorum saccos tritico et reponerent pecunias singulorum in sacculis suis, datis supra cibariis in viam. Qui fecerunt ita.
25 (KAT) Potom Jozef rozkázal, aby im vrecia naplnili obilím, aby každému jeho peniaze vložili do jeho vreca a aby im dali aj potravy na cestu. Keď im takto pripravili,
25 (UKJV) Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and thus did he unto them.

26 (SVD) فحملوا قمحهم على حميرهم ومضوا من هناك.
26 (VUL) At illi portantes frumenta in asinis suis profecti sunt.
26 (KAT) oni naložili obilie na svoje osly a odišli odtiaľ.
26 (UKJV) And they laded their asses with the corn, and departed thence.

27 (SVD) فلما فتح احدهم عدله ليعطي عليقا لحماره في المنزل رأى فضته واذا هي في فم عدله.
27 (VUL) Apertoque unus sacco, ut daret iumento pabulum in deversorio, contemplatus pecuniam in ore sacculi
27 (KAT) Tu jeden z nich otvoril vrece, aby v nocľahárni nakŕmil svojho osla, a zbadal svoje peniaze. Boli tam na vrchu vo vreci.
27 (UKJV) "And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass animal food in the inn, he espied his money; for, behold, it was in his sack's mouth. "

28 (SVD) فقال لاخوته ردّت فضتي وها هي في عدلي. فطارت قلوبهم وارتعدوا بعضهم في بعض قائلين ما هذا الذي صنعه الله بنا
28 (VUL) dixit fratribus suis: “ Reddita est mihi pecunia: en habetur in sacco! ”. Et obstupefacti turbatique mutuo dixerunt: “ Quidnam est hoc, quod fecit nobis Deus? ”.
28 (KAT) I povedal svojim bratom: „Našli sa moje peniaze! Tu v mojom vreci!“ Tŕpli od údivu, s chvením hľadeli jeden na druhého a hovorili: „Prečo nám to Boh urobil?!“
28 (UKJV) "And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart failed them, and they were afraid, saying one to another, What is this that God has done unto us? "

29 (SVD) فجاءوا الى يعقوب ابيهم الى ارض كنعان واخبروه بكل ما اصابهم قائلين.
29 (VUL) Veneruntque ad Iacob patrem suum in terram Chanaan; et narraverunt ei omnia, quae accidissent sibi, dicentes:
29 (KAT) Keď potom došli k svojmu otcovi v krajine Kanaán, rozprávali mu všetko, čo sa im prihodilo, a vraveli:
29 (UKJV) "And they came unto Jacob their father unto the land of Canaan, and told him all that befell unto them; saying, "

30 (SVD) تكلم معنا الرجل سيد الارض بجفاء وحسبنا جواسيس الارض.
30 (VUL) “ Locutus est nobis dominus terrae dure et putavit nos exploratores esse provinciae ”.
30 (KAT) „Muž, ktorý je pánom krajiny, tvrdo s nami nakladal a pokladal nás za vyzvedačov v krajine.
30 (UKJV) The man, who is the lord of the land, spoke roughly to us, and took us for spies of the country.

31 (SVD) فقلنا له نحن أمناء. لسنا جواسيس.
31 (VUL) Cui respondimus: “ Sinceri sumus, nec ullas molimur insidias;
31 (KAT) Povedali sme mu: »My sme počestní ľudia, nie sme nijakí vyzvedači.
31 (UKJV) "And we said unto him, We are true men; we are no spies: "

32 (SVD) نحن اثنا عشر اخا بنو ابينا. الواحد مفقود والصغير اليوم عند ابينا في ارض كنعان.
32 (VUL) duodecim fratres uno patre geniti sumus, unus non est super, minimus cum patre nostro est in terra Chanaan.
32 (KAT) Sme dvanásti bratia, synovia nášho otca; jedného už niet a najmladší je pri našom otcovi v kanaánskej krajine.«
32 (UKJV) "We be twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is this day with our father in the land of Canaan. "

33 (SVD) فقال لنا الرجل سيد الارض بهذا اعرف انكم أمناء. دعوا اخا واحدا منكم عندي وخذوا لمجاعة بيوتكم وانطلقوا.
33 (VUL) Et dixit nobis vir, dominus terrae: "Sic probabo quod sinceri sitis: fratrem vestrum unum dimittite apud me et cibaria domibus vestris necessaria sumite et abite;
33 (KAT) Ale muž, pán tej krajiny, nám povedal: »Podľa toho poznám, že ste počestní ľudia: Nechajte jedného z bratov tu u mňa! Potom si naberte pre svoju hladujúcu rodinu a choďte!
33 (UKJV) "And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that all of you are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone: "

34 (SVD) واحضروا اخاكم الصغير اليّ. فاعرف انكم لستم جواسيس بل انكم أمناء. فاعطيكم اخاكم وتتجرون في الارض.
34 (VUL) fratremque vestrum minimum adducite ad me, ut sciam quod non sitis exploratores et istum, qui tenetur in vinculis, recipere possitis ac deinceps peragrandi terram habeatis licentiam" ”.
34 (KAT) Musíte mi však priviesť svojho najmladšieho brata, aby som sa presvedčil, že nie ste vyzvedači, ale počestní ľudia. Vášho brata vám len potom vydám a vy sa budete voľne pohybovať v krajine.«“
34 (UKJV) And bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that all of you are no spies, but that all of you are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and all of you shall trade in the land.

35 (SVD) واذ كانوا يفرغون عدالهم اذا صرّة فضة كل واحد في عدله. فلما رأوا صرر فضتهم هم وابوهم خافوا
35 (VUL) His dictis, cum frumenta effunderent, singuli reppererunt in ore saccorum ligatas pecunias; exterritisque simul omnibus,
35 (KAT) A keď vysýpali vrecia, každý našiel vo svojom vreci svoje peniaze. Keď aj so svojím otcom videli peniaze, naľakali sa.
35 (UKJV) And it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack: and when both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.

36 (SVD) فقال لهم يعقوب اعدمتموني الاولاد. يوسف مفقود وشمعون مفقود وبنيامين تأخذونه. صار كل هذا عليّ.
36 (VUL) dixit pater Iacob: “ Absque liberis me esse fecistis: Ioseph non est super, Simeon tenetur in vinculis, et Beniamin auferetis. In me haec omnia mala reciderunt ”.
36 (KAT) Tu im povedal ich otec Jakub: „Okrádate ma (o deti)! Niet Jozefa, Simeona niet a chcete odviesť aj Benjamína! Toto všetko sa na mňa valí!“
36 (UKJV) And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have all of you bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and all of you will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.

37 (SVD) وكلّم رأوبين اباه قائلا اقتل ابنيّ ان لم اجيء به اليك. سلّمه بيدي وانا ارده اليك.
37 (VUL) Cui respondit Ruben: “ Duos filios meos interfice, si non reduxero illum tibi; trade illum in manu mea, et ego eum tibi restituam ”.
37 (KAT) Vtedy Ruben povedal svojmu otcovi: „Oboch mojich synov môžeš zabiť, ak ti ho neprivediem späť. Spoľahni sa na mňa, ja ti ho dovediem!“
37 (UKJV) And Reuben spoke unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to you: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to you again.

38 (SVD) فقال لا ينزل ابني معكم. لان اخاه قد مات وهو وحده باق. فان اصابته اذيّة في الطريق التي تذهبون فيها تنزلون شيبتي بحزن الى الهاوية
38 (VUL) At ille: “ Non descendet, inquit, filius meus vobiscum. Frater mortuus est, et ipse solus remansit; si quid ei adversi acciderit in via, deducetis canos meos cum dolore ad inferos ”.
38 (KAT) On však povedal: „Môj syn nepôjde s vami. Jeho brat je mŕtvy a on ostal sám. Ak by ho zastihlo nešťastie na ceste, po ktorej pôjdete, zármutkom by ste priviedli moje šediny do podsvetia.“
38 (UKJV) "And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which all of you go, then shall all of you bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave. "
