1 (UKJV) And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land.
1 (ROH) A Dína, dcéra Leina, ktorú porodila Jakobovi, vyšla sa podívať na dcéry zeme.
1 (RIV) Or Dina, la figliuola che Lea aveva partorito a Giacobbe, uscì per vedere le figliuole del paese.

2 (UKJV) And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her.
2 (ROH) Ale keď ju videl Sichem, syn Chamora Hevejského, kniežaťa zeme, vzal ju a ležal s ňou a ponížil ju.
2 (RIV) E Sichem, figliuolo di Hemor lo Hivveo, principe del paese, vedutala, la rapì, si giacque con lei, e la violentò.

3 (UKJV) And his soul clave unto Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and spoke kindly unto the damsel.

3 (RIV) E l’anima sua s’appassionò per Dina, figliuola di Giacobbe; egli amò la fanciulla, e parlò al cuore di lei.

4 (UKJV) And Shechem spoke unto his father Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.
4 (ROH) A Sichem povedal Chamorovi, svojmu otcovi, a riekol: Vezmi mi to dievča za ženu.
4 (RIV) Poi disse a Hemor suo padre: "Dammi questa fanciulla per moglie".

5 (UKJV) And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.
5 (ROH) A Jakob počul o tom, že poškvrnil Dínu, jeho dcéru, a jeho synovia boli vtedy s jeho dobytkom na poli, ale Jakob mlčal, až prišli.
5 (RIV) Or Giacobbe udì ch’egli avea disonorato la sua figliuola Dina; e come i suoi figliuoli erano ai campi col suo bestiame, Giacobbe si tacque finché non furon tornati.

6 (UKJV) And Hamor the father of Shechem went out unto Jacob to commune with him.
6 (ROH) A Chamor, otec Sichemov, vyšiel k Jakobovi, aby hovoril s ním.
6 (RIV) E Hemor, padre di Sichem, si recò da Giacobbe per parlargli.

7 (UKJV) And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very angry, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.
7 (ROH) A synovia Jakobovi prišli s poľa, keď to počuli, a mužovia boli naplnení bolesťou a rozhnevali sa veľmi, lebo vykoval bláznovstvo v Izraelovi, ležať s dcérou Jakobovou, čo sa tak nerobí.
7 (RIV) E i figliuoli di Giacobbe, com’ebbero udito il fatto, tornarono dai campi; e questi uomini furono addolorati e fortemente adirati perché costui aveva commessa un’infamia in Israele, giacendosi con la figliuola di Giacobbe: cosa che non era da farsi.

8 (UKJV) And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter: I pray you give her him to wife.
8 (ROH) A Chamor hovoril s nimi a vravel: Duša môjho syna Sichema visí na vašej dcére; dajte mu ju, prosím vás, za ženu.
8 (RIV) Ed Hemor parlò loro dicendo: "L’anima del mio figliuolo Sichem s’è unita strettamente alla vostra figliuola; deh, dategliela per moglie;

9 (UKJV) And make all of you marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you.
9 (ROH) A sošvagrite sa s nami; svoje dcéry dávajte nám, a naše dcéry berte sebe,
9 (RIV) e imparentatevi con noi; dateci le vostre figliuole, e prendetevi le figliuole nostre.

10 (UKJV) "And all of you shall dwell with us: and the land shall be before you; dwell and trade all of you therein, and get you possessions therein. "
10 (ROH) bývajte s nami, a zem bude pred vami; osaďte sa a obchodujte s ňou a vlastnite v nej.
10 (RIV) Voi abiterete con noi, e il paese sarà a vostra disposizione; dimoratevi, trafficatevi, e acquistatevi delle proprietà".

11 (UKJV) And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what all of you shall say unto me I will give.
11 (ROH) Aj Sichem hovoril jej otcovi a jej bratom: Nech najdem milosť vo vašich očiach, a čo mi poviete, dám.
11 (RIV) Allora Sichem disse al padre e ai fratelli di Dina: "Fate ch’io trovi grazia agli occhi vostri, e vi darò quel che mi direte.

12 (UKJV) Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as all of you shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.
12 (ROH) Žiadajte odo mňa akékoľvek veľké veno a dar, a dám, ako mi poviete, len mi dajte dievča za ženu.
12 (RIV) Imponetemi pure una gran dote e di gran doni; e io ve li darò come mi direte; ma datemi la fanciulla per moglie".

13 (UKJV) And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:
13 (ROH) A synovia Jakobovi odpovedali Sichemovi a Chamorovi, jeho otcovi, ľstivo a tak i vraveli, pretože poškvrnil Dínu, ich sestru.
13 (RIV) I figliuoli di Giacobbe risposero a Sichem e ad Hemor suo padre, e parlarono loro con astuzia, perché Sichem avea disonorato Dina loro sorella;

14 (UKJV) "And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us: "
14 (ROH) Povedali im: Nemôžeme urobiť takú vec, aby sme dali svoju sestru mužovi, ktorý nie je obrezaný, lebo to nám je mrzkosťou.
14 (RIV) e dissero loro: "Questa cosa non la possiamo fare; non possiam dare la nostra sorella a uno che non è circonciso; giacché questo, per noi, sarebbe un obbrobrio.

15 (UKJV) "But in this will we consent unto you: If all of you will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised; "
15 (ROH) Len na takýto spôsob vám povolíme: ak budete jako my, aby sa vám obrezal každý mužského pohlavia.
15 (RIV) Soltanto a questa condizione acconsentiremo alla vostra richiesta: se vorrete essere come siam noi, circoncidendo ogni maschio tra voi.

16 (UKJV) Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people.
16 (ROH) Vtedy dáme svoje dcéry vám, a vaše dcéry budeme brať sebe. A tak budeme bývať s vami a budeme jedným ľudom.
16 (RIV) Allora vi daremo le nostre figliuole, e noi ci prenderemo le figliuole vostre; abiteremo con voi, e diventeremo un popolo solo.

17 (UKJV) "But if all of you will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone. "
17 (ROH) Ale ak nás neposlúchnete, aby ste sa obrezali, vezmeme svoju dcéru a pojdeme.
17 (RIV) Ma se non ci volete ascoltare e non vi volete far circoncidere, noi prenderemo la nostra fanciulla e ce ne andremo".

18 (UKJV) And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor's son.
18 (ROH) A ich slová sa ľúbily Chamorovi aj Sichemovi, synovi Chamorovmu.
18 (RIV) Le loro parole piacquero ad Hemor e a Sichem figliuolo di Hemor.

19 (UKJV) And the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter: and he was more honourable than all the house of his father.
19 (ROH) A mládenec nemeškal urobiť tú vec, lebo sa mu veľmi ľúbila dcéra Jakobova, a on bol najváženejší zo všetkých v dome svojho otca.
19 (RIV) E il giovine non indugiò a fare la cosa, perché portava affezione alla figliuola di Giacobbe, ed era l’uomo più onorato in tutta la casa di suo padre.

20 (UKJV) And Hamor and Shechem his son came unto the gate of their city, and communed with the men of their city, saying,
20 (ROH) A Chamor prišiel i Sichem, jeho syn, k bráne svojho mesta, a hovorili mužom svojho mesta a riekli:
20 (RIV) Hemor e Sichem, suo figliuolo, vennero alla porta della loro città, e parlarono alla gente della loro città, dicendo:

21 (UKJV) "These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the land, and trade therein; for the land, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. "

22 (UKJV) Only herein will the men consent unto us in order to dwell with us, to be one people, if every male among us be circumcised, as they are circumcised.

23 (UKJV) Shall not their cattle and their substance and every beast of their's be our's? only let us consent unto them, and they will dwell with us.
23 (ROH) A pri tom či ich dobytok, ich majetok a všetky ich hovädá nebudú vtedy naše? Len im povoľme, a budú bývať s nami.
23 (RIV) Il loro bestiame, le loro sostanze, tutti i loro animali non saran nostri? Acconsentiamo alla loro domanda ed essi abiteranno con noi".

24 (UKJV) "And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city. "
24 (ROH) A poslúchli Chamora a Sichema, jeho syna, všetci, ktorí vychádzavali bránou jeho mesta, a obrezali sa všetci mužského pohlavia, všetci, ktorí vychádzavali bránou jeho mesta.
24 (RIV) E tutti quelli che uscivano dalla porta della città diedero ascolto ad Hemor e a Sichem suo figliuolo; e ogni maschio fu circonciso: ognuno di quelli che uscivano dalla porta della città.

25 (UKJV) And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah's brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.
25 (ROH) A stalo sa tretieho dňa, keď mali najväčšiu bolesť, že vzali dvaja synovia Jakobovi, Simeon a Lévi, bratia Dínini, každý svoj meč a prišli smelo na mesto a pobili všetkých mužského pohlavia.
25 (RIV) Or avvenne che il terzo giorno, mentre quelli eran sofferenti, due de’ figliuoli di Giacobbe, Simeone e Levi, fratelli di Dina, presero ciascuno la propria spada, assalirono la città che si tenea sicura, e uccisero tutti i maschi.

26 (UKJV) And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem's house, and went out.
26 (ROH) I Chamora i Sichema, jeho syna, zabili ostrím meča, a vezmúc Dínu z domu Sichemovho vyšli.
26 (RIV) Passarono anche a fil di spada Hemor e Sichem suo figliuolo, presero Dina dalla casa di Sichem, e uscirono.

27 (UKJV) The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.
27 (ROH) Potom prišli synovia Jakobovi na pobitých a olúpili mesto, pretože poškvrnili ich sestru.

28 (UKJV) They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,
28 (ROH) Ich stádo drobného dobytka, ich voly, ich oslov a to, čo bolo v meste a čo na poli, všetko pobrali.

29 (UKJV) And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house.

30 (UKJV) "And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, All of you have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house. "
30 (ROH) A Jakob povedal Simeonovi a Lévimu: Zarmútili ste ma a spôsobili ste mi trápenie, lebo ste ma zosmradili obyvateľom zeme, Kananejom a Ferezejom, a ja mám len málo ľudí. Ak sa shromaždia na mňa, zabijú ma, a budem vyhladený ja i môj dom.

31 (UKJV) And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?
31 (ROH) A povedali: Či má niekto zaobchodiť s našou sestrou jako so smilnicou?
31 (RIV) Ed essi risposero: "Dovrà la nostra sorella esser trattata come una meretrice?"
