Gn 33, 1-20

1 (UKJV) And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.

2 (UKJV) And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.
2 (ROH) A dievky a ich synov postavil napredok a Leu a jej deti za nimi a Rácheľ a Jozefa naposledy.

3 (UKJV) And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.
3 (ROH) A sám išiel pred nimi a poklonil sa k zemi sedemkrát, až sa priblížil svojmu bratovi.

4 (UKJV) And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.
4 (ROH) A Ezav mu bežal oproti a objal ho a padnúc mu okolo krku bozkával ho, a plakali obaja.

5 (UKJV) "And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with you? And he said, The children which God has graciously given your servant. "

6 (UKJV) Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.

7 (UKJV) And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.
7 (ROH) A prišla i Lea i jej deti, a tiež sa poklonily, a potom prišiel Jozef a Rácheľ, a poklonili sa.
7 (RIV) S’accostarono anche Lea e i suoi figliuoli, e s’inchinarono. Poi s’accostarono Giuseppe e Rachele, e s’inchinarono.

8 (UKJV) And he said, What mean you by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.
8 (ROH) A Ezav povedal: Načo ti celý ten tábor, ktorý som stretol? A povedal: Aby som našiel milosť v očiach svojho pána.

9 (UKJV) "And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that you have unto yourself. "
9 (ROH) A Ezav povedal: Mám mnoho, môj bratu, len nech bude tebe, čo je tvoje.

10 (UKJV) And Jacob said, Nay, I pray you, if now I have found grace in your sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen your face, as though I had seen the face of God, and you were pleased with me.

11 (UKJV) "Take, I pray you, my blessing that is brought to you; because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it. "
11 (ROH) Prijmi, prosím, moje požehnanie, ktoré ti je donesené, pretože mi to dal Bôh z milosti, a pretože mám hojnosť všetkého. A keď ho len nútil, vzal.

12 (UKJV) And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before you.
12 (ROH) A Ezav povedal: Rušajme sa a poďme, a ja pojdem pred tebou.
12 (RIV) Poi Esaù disse: "Partiamo, incamminiamoci, e io andrò innanzi a te".

13 (UKJV) And he said unto him, My lord knows that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should beat them one day, all the flock will die.
13 (ROH) Ale on mu povedal: Môj pán vie, že deti sú útle, a že mám so sebou brezé ovce a telné kravy, a keď ich príliš poženú čo len jeden deň, pomrie mi celé stádo.

14 (UKJV) Let my lord, I pray you, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goes before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.

15 (UKJV) And Esau said, Let me now leave with you some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needs it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.
A on povedal: Načo to?

16 (UKJV) So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
16 (RIV) Così Esaù, in quel giorno stesso, rifece il cammino verso Seir.

17 (UKJV) And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
17 (ROH) A Jakob sa poberal do Sukkóta a vystavil si tam dom a svojmu stádu spravil obory; preto nazval meno toho miesta Sukkót .

18 (UKJV) "And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city. "

19 (UKJV) And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.

20 (UKJV) And he erected there an altar, and called it EleloheIsrael.
20 (ROH) A postavil tam oltár, ktorý nazval El-elohe-jisrael .
