1 (SVD) وشاخ ابراهيم وتقدم في الايام. وبارك الرب ابراهيم في كل شيء.
1 (VUL) Erat autem Abraham senex dierumque multorum; et Do minus in cunctis benedixerat ei.
1 (KAT) Abrahám bol však už starý a pokročilý vekom a Pán ho vo všetkom požehnával.
1 (UKJV) And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

2 (SVD) وقال ابراهيم لعبده كبير بيته المستولي على كل ما كان له. ضع يدك تحت فخذي.
2 (VUL) Dixitque Abraham ad servum seniorem domus suae, qui praeerat omnibus, quae habebat: “Pone manum tuam subter femur meum,
2 (KAT) Tu povedal Abrahám svojmu sluhovi, najstaršiemu vo svojom dome, správcovi všetkého svojho majetku: „Polož svoju ruku pod moje bedrá,
2 (UKJV) And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray you, your hand under my thigh:

3 (SVD) فاستحلفك بالرب اله السماء واله الارض ان لا تأخذ زوجة لابني من بنات الكنعانيين الذين انا ساكن بينهم.
3 (VUL) ut adiurem te per Dominum, Deum caeli et Deum terrae, ut non accipias uxorem filio meo de filiabus Chananaeorum, inter quos habito;
3 (KAT) aby som ťa sprisahal pred Pánom, Bohom neba a zeme, že pre môjho syna nevyberieš ženu z kanaánskych dcér, medzi ktorými bývam.
3 (UKJV) And I will make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that you shall not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

4 (SVD) بل الى ارضي والى عشيرتي تذهب وتأخذ زوجة لابني اسحق.
4 (VUL) sed ad terram et cognationem meam proficiscaris et inde accipias uxorem filio meo Isaac”.
4 (KAT) Ale pôjdeš do mojej vlasti a k mojim príbuzným vybrať ženu pre môjho syna Izáka.“
4 (UKJV) But you shall go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

5 (SVD) فقال له العبد ربما لا تشاء المرأة ان تتبعني الى هذه الارض. هل ارجع بابنك الى الارض التي خرجت منها.
5 (VUL) Respondit servus: “Si noluerit mulier venire mecum in terram hanc, num reducere debeo filium tuum ad terram, a quo tu egressus es?”.
5 (KAT) Sluha mu však odpovedal: „Možno, že nebude chcieť žena ísť so mnou do tejto krajiny. Mám potom zaviesť tvojho syna naspäť do krajiny, z ktorej si sa ty vysťahoval?“
5 (UKJV) And the servant said unto him, Possibly the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I essentially bring your son again unto the land from whence you came?

6 (SVD) فقال له ابراهيم احترز من ان ترجع بابني الى هناك.
6 (VUL) Dixit Abraham: “Cave, ne quando reducas illuc filium meum.
6 (KAT) Abrahám mu povedal: „Neopováž sa ta zaviesť môjho syna späť!
6 (UKJV) And Abraham said unto him, Beware you that you bring not my son thither again.

7 (SVD) الرب اله السماء الذي اخذني من بيت ابي ومن ارض ميلادي والذي كلمني والذي اقسم لي قائلا لنسلك اعطي هذه الارض هو يرسل ملاكه امامك فتاخذ زوجة لابني من هناك.
7 (VUL) Dominus, Deus caeli, qui tulit me de domo patris mei et de terra nativitatis meae, qui locutus est mihi et iuravit mihi dicens: "Semini tuo dabo terram hanc", ipse mittet angelum suum coram te, et accipies inde uxorem filio meo.
7 (KAT) Veď Pán, Boh neba a zeme, ktorý ma vyviedol z domu môjho otca a z mojej rodnej vlasti a ktorý so mnou hovoril a prisahal mi: »Tvojmu potomstvu dám túto krajinu,« pošle pred tebou svojho anjela, aby si odtiaľ priviedol môjmu synovi ženu.
7 (UKJV) "The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spoke unto me, and that swore unto me, saying, Unto your seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife unto my son from thence. "

8 (SVD) وان لم تشإ المرأة ان تتبعك تبرأت من حلفي هذا. اما ابني فلا ترجع به الى هناك.
8 (VUL) Sin autem noluerit mulier sequi te, non teneberis iuramento; filium tantum meum ne reducas illuc”.
8 (KAT) Ak žena nebude chcieť ísť s tebou, si zbavený tejto prísahy. Len nezaveď môjho syna naspäť!“
8 (UKJV) And if the woman will not be willing to follow you, then you shall be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

9 (SVD) فوضع العبد يده تحت فخذ ابراهيم مولاه وحلف له على هذا الامر
9 (VUL) Posuit ergo servus manum sub femore Abraham domini sui et iuravit illi super hac re.
9 (KAT) Potom sluha položil svoju ruku pod bedrá svojho pána Abraháma a prisahal mu o tej veci.
9 (UKJV) And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning that matter.

10 (SVD) ثم اخذ العبد عشرة جمال من جمال مولاه ومضى وجميع خيرات مولاه في يده. فقام وذهب الى ارام النهرين الى مدينة ناحور.
10 (VUL) Tulitque servus decem camelos de grege domini sui et abiit ex omnibus bonis eius portans secum; profectusque perrexit in Aram Naharaim ad urbem Nachor.
10 (KAT) Nato sluha zobral z tiav svojho pána desať tiav a rozličné drahocennosti svojho pána a išiel. Vybral sa a šiel do Mezopotámie (Aram Naharaim), do Nachorovho mesta.
10 (UKJV) "And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. "

11 (SVD) واناخ الجمال خارج المدينة عند بئر الماء وقت المساء وقت خروج المستقيات.
11 (VUL) Cumque camelos fecisset accumbere extra oppidum iuxta puteum aquae vespere, tempore quo solent mulieres egredi ad hauriendam aquam, dixit:
11 (KAT) Večer, v čase, keď sa vychádzalo napájať, nechal svoje ťavy oddychovať vonku pred mestom pri studni s vodou
11 (UKJV) And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.

12 (SVD) وقال ايها الرب اله سيدي ابراهيم يسّر لي اليوم واصنع لطفا الى سيدي ابراهيم.
12 (VUL) “Domine,Deus domini mei Abraham, occurre obsecro mihi hodie et fac misericordiam cum domino meo Abraham.
12 (KAT) a hovoril: „Pane, Bože Abraháma, môjho pána! Daj mi dnes šťastie a preukáž láskavosť môjmu pánovi Abrahámovi!
12 (UKJV) And he said O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray you, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham.

13 (SVD) ها انا واقف على عين الماء وبنات اهل المدينة خارجات ليستقين ماء.
13 (VUL) Ecce ego sto prope fontem aquae, et filiae habitatorum huius civitatis egredientur ad hauriendam aquam.
13 (KAT) Hľa, stojím pri vodnom prameni a dcéry ľudí (tohoto) mesta prichádzajú naberať vodu!
13 (UKJV) "Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: "

14 (SVD) فليكن ان الفتاة التي اقول لها اميلي جرتك لاشرب فتقول اشرب وانا اسقي جمالك ايضا هي التي عيّنتها لعبدك اسحق. وبها اعلم انك صنعت لطفا الى سيدي
14 (VUL) Igitur puella, cui ego dixero: "Inclina hydriam tuam, ut bibam", et illa responderit: "Bibe, quin et camelis tuis dabo potum", ipsa est, quam praeparasti servo tuo Isaac, et per hoc intellegam quod feceris misericordiam cum domino meo”.
14 (KAT) Nech deva, ktorej poviem: »Nachýľ svoj džbán, aby som sa napil!« a ona povie: »Napi sa a napojím aj tvoje ťavy,« bude tá, ktorú si určil svojmu služobníkovi Izákovi, a podľa toho poznám, že si preukázal láskavosť môjmu pánovi.“
14 (UKJV) "And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down your pitcher, I pray you, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give your camels drink also: let the same be she that you have appointed for your servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that you have showed kindness unto my master. "

15 (SVD) واذ كان لم يفرغ بعد من الكلام اذا رفقة التي ولدت لبتوئيل ابن ملكة امرأة ناحور اخي ابراهيم خارجة وجرتها على كتفها.
15 (VUL) Necdum intra se verba compleverat, et ecce Rebecca egrediebatur filia Bathuel filii Melchae uxoris Nachor fratris Abraham habens hydriam in scapula:
15 (KAT) Ešte ani nedokončil reč a už prichádzala s džbánom na pleciach Rebeka, ktorá sa narodila Batuelovi, synovi Melchy, Nachorovej ženy, ktorý bol Abrahámovým bratom.
15 (UKJV) And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

16 (SVD) وكانت الفتاة حسنة المنظر جدا وعذراء لم يعرفها رجل. فنزلت الى العين وملأت جرتها وطلعت.
16 (VUL) puella decora nimis, virgo et incognita viro. Descendit ad fontem et implevit hydriam ac revertebatur.
16 (KAT) Deva bola veľmi pekná zjavom, panna, ktorá ešte nepoznala muža. Zostúpila k prameňu, naplnila svoj džbán a vyšla hore.
16 (UKJV) And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

17 (SVD) فركض العبد للقائها وقال اسقيني قليل ماء من جرتك.
17 (VUL) Occurritque ei servus et ait: “Pauxillum mihi ad sorbendum praebe aquae de hydria tua”.
17 (KAT) Sluha jej bežal v ústrety a povedal: „Dajže sa mi napiť trochu vody zo svojho džbána!“
17 (UKJV) And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray you, drink a little water of your pitcher.

18 (SVD) فقالت اشرب يا سيدي. واسرعت وانزلت جرتها على يدها وسقته.
18 (VUL) Quae respondit: “Bibe, domine mi”. Celeriterque deposuit hydriam super ulnam suam et dedit ei potum.
18 (KAT) Ona odvetila: „Napi sa, pane!“ Rýchlo si spustila džbán na ruku a dala sa mu napiť.
18 (UKJV) And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

19 (SVD) ولما فرغت من سقيه قالت استقي لجمالك ايضا حتى تفرغ من الشرب.
19 (VUL) Cumque ille bibisset, adiecit: “Quin et camelis tuis hauriam aquam, donec cuncti bibant”.
19 (KAT) A keď ho napojila, dodala: „Aj tvojim ťavám naberiem vody, nech sa dobre napijú!“
19 (UKJV) And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for your camels also, until they have done drinking.

20 (SVD) فاسرعت وافرغت جرتها في المسقاة وركضت ايضا الى البئر لتستقي. فاستقت لكل جماله.
20 (VUL) Effundensque hydriam in canalibus recurrit ad puteum, ut hauriret aquam; et haustam omnibus camelis dedit.
20 (KAT) Rýchlo vyliala džbán do válova a opäť utekala k studni po vodu a takto naberala pre všetky ťavy,
20 (UKJV) And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the gutter, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

21 (SVD) والرجل يتفرس فيها صامتا ليعلم أأنجح الرب طريقه ام لا.
21 (VUL) Ille autem contemplabatur eam tacitus, scire volens utrum prosperum fecisset iter suum Dominus an non.
21 (KAT) kým muž ju mlčky pozoroval, aby zvedel, či Pán dá jeho ceste šťastný výsledok, alebo nie.
21 (UKJV) And the man wondering at her held his peace, to know whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

22 (SVD) وحدث عندما فرغت الجمال من الشرب ان الرجل اخذ خزامة ذهب وزنها نصف شاقل وسوارين على يديها وزنهما عشرة شواقل ذهب.
22 (VUL) Postquam ergo biberunt cameli, protulit vir anulum aureum pondo dimidii sicli pro naribus et duas armillas pro manibus eius pondo siclorum decem;
22 (KAT) Keď sa ťavy riadne napili, vzal muž zlatý krúžok, ťažký pol šekla, a dve náramnice na jej ruky, ťažké desať šeklov zlata
22 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; "

23 (SVD) وقال بنت من انت. اخبريني. هل في بيت ابيك مكان لنا لنبيت.
23 (VUL) dixitque: “Cuius es filia? lndica mihi. Est in domo patris tui locus nobis ad pernoctandum?”.
23 (KAT) a povedal: „Čiaže si ty dcéra? Povedz mi! Bude v dome tvojho otca miesto, aby sme tam mohli zostať?“
23 (UKJV) And said, Whose daughter are you? tell me, I pray you: is there room in your father's house for us to lodge in?

24 (SVD) فقالت له انا بنت بتوئيل ابن ملكة الذي ولدته لناحور.
24 (VUL) Quae respondit: “Filia Bathuelis sum filii Melchae, quem peperit Nachor”.
24 (KAT) Ona mu odpovedala: „Som dcéra Batuela, syna Melchy, ktorá ho porodila Nachorovi.“
24 (UKJV) And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

25 (SVD) وقالت له عندنا تبن وعلف كثير ومكان لتبيتوا ايضا.
25 (VUL) Et addidit dicens: “Palearum quoque et pabuli plurimum est apud nos et locus ad pernoctandum”.
25 (KAT) Ďalej mu povedala: „Slamy a krmu máme hojnosť i miesta na ubytovanie.“
25 (UKJV) She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and animal food enough, and room to lodge in.

26 (SVD) فخرّ الرجل وسجد للرب.
26 (VUL) Inclinavit se homo et adoravit Dominum
26 (KAT) Tu padol muž na kolená, poklonil sa Pánovi
26 (UKJV) And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD.

27 (SVD) وقال مبارك الرب اله سيدي ابراهيم الذي لم يمنع لطفه وحقه عن سيدي. اذ كنت انا في الطريق هداني الرب الى بيت اخوة سيدي.
27 (VUL) dicens: “Benedictus Dominus, Deus domini mei Abraham, qui non abstulit misericordiam et veritatem suam a domino meo et recto itinere me perduxit in domum fratris domini mei”.
27 (KAT) a povedal: „Nech je zvelebený Pán, Boh môjho pána Abraháma, ktorý neodňal môjmu pánovi svoju láskavosť a vernosť. Veď aj mňa Pán viedol na tejto ceste k domu príbuzného môjho pána!“
27 (UKJV) And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who has not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

28 (SVD) فركضت الفتاة واخبرت بيت امها بحسب هذه الامور
28 (VUL) Cucurrit itaque puella et nuntiavit in domum matris suae omnia, quae evenerant.
28 (KAT) Potom deva odbehla a rozpovedala doma svojej matke všetko, čo sa jej prihodilo.
28 (UKJV) And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother's house these things.

29 (SVD) وكان لرفقة اخ اسمه لابان. فركض لابان الى الرجل خارجا الى العين.
29 (VUL) Habebat autem Rebecca fratrem nomine Laban, qui festinus egressus est ad hominem, ubi erat fons.
29 (KAT) Rebeka však mala brata, ktorý sa volal Laban. A Laban bežal von k mužovi pri studni.
29 (UKJV) And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well.

30 (SVD) وحدث انه اذ رأى الخزامة والسوارين على يدي اخته واذ سمع كلام رفقة اخته قائلة هكذا كلمني الرجل جاء الى الرجل واذا هو واقف عند الجمال على العين.
30 (VUL) Cumque vidisset anulum in naribus et armillas in manibus sororis suae et audisset cuncta verba referentis: “Haec locutus est mihi homo”, venit ad virum, qui stabat iuxta camelos et prope fontem aquae;
30 (KAT) Keď videl nosový krúžok a sestrine náramnice na jej rukách a keď počul slová svojej sestry: „Takto ku mne hovoril ten muž,“ šiel k mužovi, ktorý ešte stál pri ťavách pri studni,
30 (UKJV) "And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spoke the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well. "

31 (SVD) فقال ادخل يا مبارك الرب. لماذا تقف خارجا وانا قد هيّأت البيت ومكانا للجمال.
31 (VUL) dixitque ad eum: “Ingredere, benedicte Domini, cur foris stas? Praeparavi domum et locum camelis”.
31 (KAT) a povedal mu: „Poď, Pánov požehnaný! Prečo stojíš vonku? Veď pripravil som príbytok aj miesto pre ťavy!“
31 (UKJV) "And he said, Come in, you blessed of the LORD; wherefore stand you without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels. "

32 (SVD) فدخل الرجل الى البيت وحلّ عن الجمال. فاعطى تبنا وعلفا للجمال وماء لغسل رجليه وارجل الرجال الذين معه.
32 (VUL) Et introduxit eum in hospitium ac destravit camelos; deditque paleas et pabulum camelis et aquam ad lavandos pedes eius et virorum, qui venerant cum eo.
32 (KAT) Vtedy sa muž pobral do domu a on odsedlal ťavy, prichystal ťavám slamu a krm i vodu, aby si on a mužovia, ktorí ho sprevádzali, umyli nohy.
32 (UKJV) And the man came into the house: and he unbounded his camels, and gave straw and animal food for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men's feet that were with him.

33 (SVD) ووضع قدامه ليأكل. فقال لا آكل حتى اتكلم كلامي. فقال تكلم
33 (VUL) Et apposuit in conspectu eius panem. Qui ait: “Non comedam, donec loquar sermones meos”. Respondit: “Loquere”.
33 (KAT) Keď mu predložili jesť, povedal: „Nebudem jesť, kým neprednesiem svoju vec!“ A on mu odpovedal: „Hovor!“
33 (UKJV) And there was set food before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.

34 (SVD) فقال انا عبد ابراهيم.
34 (VUL) At ille: “Servus, inquit, Abraham sum;
34 (KAT) Potom rozprával: „Ja som Abrahámov sluha.
34 (UKJV) And he said, I am Abraham's servant.

35 (SVD) والرب قد بارك مولاي جدا فصار عظيما. واعطاه غنما وبقرا وفضة وذهبا وعبيدا واماء وجمالا وحميرا.
35 (VUL) et Dominus benedixit domino meo valde, magnificatusque est; et dedit ei oves et boves, argentum et aurum, servos et ancillas, camelos et asinos.
35 (KAT) Pán bohato požehnal môjho pána, takže sa stal majetným. Dal mu ovce a dobytok, striebro a zlato, sluhov a slúžky, ťavy a osly.
35 (UKJV) "And the LORD has blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he has given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and male servants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. "

36 (SVD) وولدت سارة امرأة سيدي ابنا لسيدي بعدما شاخت فقد اعطاه كل ما له.
36 (VUL) Et peperit Sara uxor domini mei filium domino meo in senectute sua; deditque illi omnia, quae habuerat.
36 (KAT) A Sára, žena môjho pána, porodila môjmu pánovi vo svojej starobe syna, ktorému on prenechal celé svoje imanie.
36 (UKJV) And Sarah my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him has he given all that he has.

37 (SVD) واستحلفني سيدي قائلا لا تأخذ زوجة لابني من بنات الكنعانيين الذين انا ساكن في ارضهم.
37 (VUL) Et adiuravit me dominus meus dicens: "Non accipies uxorem filio meo de filiabus Chananaeorum, in quorum terra habito;
37 (KAT) Mňa však môj pán zaviazal prísahou: »Nevyberieš pre môjho syna ženu z kanaánskych dcér, v ktorých krajine bývam.
37 (UKJV) And my master made me swear, saying, You shall not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell:

38 (SVD) بل الى بيت ابي تذهب والى عشيرتي وتاخذ زوجة لابني.
38 (VUL) sed ad domum patris mei perges et de cognatione mea accipies uxorem filio meo".
38 (KAT) Ale pôjdeš do domu môjho otca a k môjmu rodu, aby si môjmu synovi priviedol ženu.«
38 (UKJV) But you shall go unto my father's house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son.

39 (SVD) فقلت لسيدي ربما لا تتبعني المرأة.
39 (VUL) Ego vero respondi domino meo: Quid, si noluerit venire mecum mulier?
39 (KAT) Keď som však svojmu pánovi povedal: »Možno žena nepôjde so mnou,«
39 (UKJV) And I said unto my master, Possibly the woman will not follow me.

40 (SVD) فقال لي ان الرب الذي سرت امامه يرسل ملاكه معك وينجح طريقك. فتاخذ زوجة لابني من عشيرتي ومن بيت ابي.
40 (VUL) "Dominus, ait, in cuius conspectu ambulo, mittet angelum suum tecum et diriget viam tuam; accipiesque uxorem filio meo de cognatione mea et de domo patris mei.
40 (KAT) vtedy mi povedal: »Pán, pred ktorého tvárou som kráčal, pošle s tebou svojho anjela, aby dal tvojej ceste priaznivý výsledok, aby si môjmu synovi priviedol ženu z mojej čeľade a z môjho rodu.
40 (UKJV) "And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way; and you shall take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house: "

41 (SVD) حينئذ تتبرأ من حلفي حينما تجيء الى عشيرتي. وان لم يعطوك فتكون بريئا من حلفي.
41 (VUL) Innocens eris a maledictione mea, cum veneris ad propinquos meos, et non dederint tibi; tunc innocens eris a maledictione mea".
41 (KAT) Budeš však oslobodený od mojej kliatby, ak prídeš k mojim príbuzným a oni ti (ju) nedajú, vtedy budeš oslobodený od mojej kliatby.«
41 (UKJV) "Then shall you be clear from this my oath, when you come to my kindred; and if they give not you one, you shall be clear from my oath. "

42 (SVD) فجئت اليوم الى العين وقلت ايها الرب اله سيدي ابراهيم ان كنت تنجح طريقي الذي انا سالك فيه
42 (VUL) Veni ergo hodie ad fontem et dixi: Domine, Deus domini mei Abraham, si direxisti viam meam, in qua nunc ambulo,
42 (KAT) Keď som dnes prišiel k studni, hovoril som: Pane, Boh môjho pána Abraháma, kiežby si dožičil mojej ceste, ktorú konám, šťastný výsledok.
42 (UKJV) And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now you do prosper my way which I go:

43 (SVD) فها انا واقف على عين الماء وليكن ان الفتاة التي تخرج لتستقي واقول لها اسقيني قليل ماء من جرتك

43 (KAT) Hľa, stojím pri vodnom prameni! Nech teda panna, ktorá príde po vodu a ktorej poviem: »Dajže sa mi napiť trochu vody zo svojho džbána«
43 (UKJV) "Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin comes forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray you, a little water of your pitcher to drink; "

44 (SVD) فتقول لي اشرب انت وانا استقي لجمالك ايضا هي المرأة التي عيّنها الرب لابن سيدي.
44 (VUL) et dixerit mihi: "Et tu bibe, et camelis tuis hauriam", ipsa est mulier, quam praeparavit Dominus filio domini mei.
44 (KAT) a ona mi povie: »Len sa napi a načriem aj tvojim ťavám,« je tá žena, ktorú Pán určil pre syna môjho pána.
44 (UKJV) And she say to me, Both drink you, and I will also draw for your camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD has appointed out for my master's son.

45 (SVD) واذ كنت انا لم افرغ بعد من الكلام في قلبي اذا رفقة خارجة وجرتها على كتفها فنزلت الى العين واستقت. فقلت لها اسقيني.
45 (VUL) Dum haec tacitus mecum volverem, apparuit Rebecca veniens cum hydria, quam portabat in scapula; descenditque ad fontem et hausit aquam. Et aio ad eam: Da mihi paululum bibere.
45 (KAT) Ešte som ani nedokončil reč, keď vyšla Rebeka so svojím džbánom na pleciach, zišla k prameňu a načrela. Vtedy som jej povedal: »Dajže sa mi napiť!«
45 (UKJV) "And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the well, and drew water: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray you. "

46 (SVD) فاسرعت وانزلت جرتها عنها وقالت اشرب وانا اسقي جمالك ايضا. فشربت. وسقت الجمال ايضا.
46 (VUL) Quae festina deposuit hydriam de umero et dixit mihi: "Et tu bibe, et camelis tuis potum tribuam". Bibi, et adaquavit camelos.
46 (KAT) Ona rýchlo zložila svoj džbán a povedala: »Pi a napojím aj tvoje ťavy!« I napil som sa a ona napojila aj ťavy.
46 (UKJV) And she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, Drink, and I will give your camels drink also: so I drank, and she made the camels drink also.

47 (SVD) فسألتها وقلت بنت من انت. فقالت بنت بتوئيل بن ناحور الذي ولدته له ملكة. فوضعت الخزامة في انفها والسوارين على يديها.
47 (VUL) Interrogavique eam et dixi: Cuius es filia? Quae respondit: "Filia Bathuelis sum filii Nachor, quem peperit illi Melcha". Suspendi itaque anulum in naribus eius et armillas posui in manibus eius.
47 (KAT) Potom som sa jej opýtal: »Čia si ty dcéra?« A ona mi odpovedala: »Som dcéra Batuela, Nachorovho syna, ktorému ho porodila Melcha.« Potom som jej založil do nosa krúžok a na ruky náramnice
47 (UKJV) And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter are you? And she said, the daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands.

48 (SVD) وخررت وسجدت للرب وباركت الرب اله سيدي ابراهيم الذي هداني في طريق امين لآخذ ابنة اخي سيدي لابنه.
48 (VUL) Pronusque adoravi Dominum benedicens Domino, Deo domini mei Abraham, qui perduxit me recto itinere, ut sumerem filiam fratris domini mei filio eius.
48 (KAT) i padol som na kolená, poklonil som sa Pánovi a prosil som Pána, Boha môjho pána Abraháma, ktorý ma viedol po pravej ceste, aby som priviedol dcéru príbuzného môjho pána pre jeho syna.
48 (UKJV) And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son.

49 (SVD) والآن ان كنتم تصنعون معروفا وامانة الى سيدي فاخبروني. وإلا فاخبروني لانصرف يمينا او شمالا
49 (VUL) Quam ob rem, si facitis misericordiam et veritatem cum domino meo, indicate mihi; sin autem aliud placet, et hoc dicite mihi, ut vadam ad dexteram sive ad sinistram”.

51 (SVD) هوذا رفقة قدامك. خذها واذهب. فلتكن زوجة لابن سيدك كما تكلم الرب.
51 (VUL) En Rebecca coram te est; tolle eam et proficiscere, et sit uxor filii domini tui, sicut locutus est Dominus”.
51 (KAT) Pozri, Rebeka je pred tebou, vezmi ju a choď! Nech sa stane ženou syna tvojho pána, ako hovoril Pán!“
51 (UKJV) Behold, Rebekah is before you, take her, and go, and let her be your master's son's wife, as the LORD has spoken.

52 (SVD) وكان عندما سمع عبد ابراهيم كلامهم انه سجد للرب الى الارض.
52 (VUL) Quod cum audisset puer Abraham, procidens adoravit in terram Dominum.
52 (KAT) Keď Abrahámov sluha počul ich slová, poklonil sa Pánovi až po zem.
52 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he worshipped the LORD, bowing himself to the earth.

53 (SVD) واخرج العبد آنية فضة وآنية ذهب وثيابا واعطاها لرفقة. واعطى تحفا لاخيها ولامها.
53 (VUL) Prolatisque vasis argenteis et aureis ac vestibus, dedit ea Rebeccae; res pretiosas dedit fratri eius et matri.
53 (KAT) Potom sluha vybral strieborné a zlaté predmety a šaty a daroval ich Rebeke. I jej bratovi a matke daroval drahocennosti.
53 (UKJV) And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.

54 (SVD) فأكل وشرب هو والرجال الذين معه وباتوا. ثم قاموا صباحا فقال اصرفوني الى سيدي.
54 (VUL) Tunc comederunt et biberunt ipse et viri, qui erant cum eo, et pernoctaverunt ibi. Surgens autem mane locutus est puer: “Dimittite me, ut vadam ad dominum meum”.
54 (KAT) Potom jedli a pili on i mužovia, ktorí ho sprevádzali, a ostali tam na noc. Keď ráno vstali, povedal on: „Prepusť ma k môjmu pánovi!“
54 (UKJV) "And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. "

55 (SVD) فقال اخوها وامها لتمكث الفتاة عندنا اياما او عشرة. بعد ذلك تمضي.
55 (VUL) Responderuntque frater eius et mater: “Maneat puella saltem decem dies apud nos et postea proficiscetur”.

56 (UKJV) "And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD has prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master. "

57 (SVD) فقالوا ندعو الفتاة ونسألها شفاها.
57 (VUL) Dixerunt: “Vocemus puellam et quaeramus ipsius voluntatem”.
57 (KAT) Oni mu odpovedali: „Zavoláme dievča a opýtame sa ho.“
57 (UKJV) And they said, We will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth.

58 (SVD) فدعوا رفقة وقالوا لها هل تذهبين مع هذا الرجل. فقالت اذهب.

58 (KAT) Zavolali teda Rebeku a opýtali sa jej: „Chceš ísť s týmto mužom?“ Ona odpovedala: „Chcem!“
58 (UKJV) And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Will you go with this man? And she said, I will go.

59 (SVD) فصرفوا رفقة اختهم ومرضعتها وعبد ابراهيم ورجاله.
59 (VUL) Dimiserunt ergo Rebeccam sororem eorum et nutricem illius servumque Abraham et comites eius,
59 (KAT) Potom teda prepustili svoju sestru Rebeku i s jej dojkou, aj Abrahámovho sluhu s jeho mužmi.
59 (UKJV) And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham's servant, and his men.

60 (SVD) وباركوا رفقة وقالوا لها انت اختنا. صيري الوف ربوات وليرث نسلك باب مبغضيه
60 (VUL) imprecantes prospera sorori suae atque dicentes: “Soror nostra es, crescas in mille milia, et possideat semen tuum portas inimicorum suorum!”.
60 (KAT) I požehnávali Rebeku a hovorili jej: „Sestra naša, rozmnož sa v tisíce a desaťtisíce (potomkov) a tvoje potomstvo nech zaujme brány svojich nepriateľov!“
60 (UKJV) And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, You are our sister, be you the mother of thousands of millions, and let your seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

61 (SVD) فقامت رفقة وفتياتها وركبن على الجمال وتبعن الرجل. فأخذ العبد رفقة ومضى.
61 (VUL) Igitur surrexit Rebecca et puellae illius et, ascensis camelis, secutae sunt virum; sumpsitque servus Rebeccam et abiit.
61 (KAT) Potom sa Rebeka pohla aj so svojimi slúžkami, vysadli na ťavy a nasledovali muža. A sluha Rebeku vzal a odišiel.
61 (UKJV) And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way.

62 (SVD) وكان اسحق قد اتى من ورود بئر لحي رئي. اذ كان ساكنا في ارض الجنوب.
62 (VUL) Isaac autem venerat a regione putei Lahairoi et habitabat in terra Nageb.
62 (KAT) Vtedy sa Izák práve vrátil z cesty od studne Lachaj roi, býval totižto v Negebe.
62 (UKJV) "And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country. "

63 (SVD) وخرج اسحق ليتأمل في الحقل عند اقبال المساء. فرفع عينيه ونظر واذا جمال مقبلة.
63 (VUL) Et egressus est Isaac ad lamentandum in agro, inclinata iam die. Cumque levasset oculos, vidit camelos venientes.
63 (KAT) Keď sa zvečerievalo, vyšiel Izák na pole, aby si porozmýšľal. Tu zdvihol oči a videl prichádzať ťavy.
63 (UKJV) And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the evening: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.

64 (SVD) ورفعت رفقة عينيها فرأت اسحق فنزلت عن الجمل.
64 (VUL) Rebecca quoque levavit oculos et vidit Isaac; descenditque de camelo
64 (KAT) Aj Rebeka zdvihla oči a zbadala Izáka. Rýchlo zosadla z ťavy
64 (UKJV) And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel.

65 (SVD) وقالت للعبد من هذا الرجل الماشي في الحقل للقائنا. فقال العبد هو سيدي. فاخذت البرقع وتغطّت.
65 (VUL) et ait ad puerum: “Quis est ille homo, qui venit per agrum in occursum nobis?”. Dixitque ei: “Ipse est dominus meus”. At illa tollens cito velum operuit se.
65 (KAT) a povedala sluhovi: „Kto je ten muž, čo ide oproti nám po poli?“ A keď sluha povedal: „To je môj pán,“ vzala závoj a zahalila sa.
65 (UKJV) For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walks in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself.

66 (SVD) ثم حدّث العبد اسحق بكل الامور التي صنع.

66 (KAT) Potom sluha porozprával Izákovi všetko, čo vykonal,
66 (UKJV) And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.

67 (SVD) فادخلها اسحق الى خباء سارة امه واخذ رفقة فصارت له زوجة واحبّها. فتعزّى اسحق بعد موت امه
67 (VUL) qui introduxit eam in tabernaculum Sarae matris suae et accepit Rebeccam uxorem; et dilexit eam et consolatus est a morte matris suae.
67 (KAT) a Izák ju voviedol do stanu svojej matky Sáry. Vzal si teda Rebeku a ona sa stala jeho ženou. A tak ju miloval, že našiel útechu nad stratou svojej matky.
67 (UKJV) "And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother's death. "
