1 (HEM) ויהוה פקד את שרה כאשר אמר ויעש יהוה לשרה כאשר דבר׃
1 (KAT) A Pán navštívil Sáru, ako prisľúbil, a Pán vyplnil Sáre, čo predpovedal.
1 (UKJV) And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

2 (HEM) ותהר ותלד שרה לאברהם בן לזקניו למועד אשר דבר אתו אלהים׃
2 (KAT) Sára teda počala a porodila Abrahámovi syna vo svojej starobe, a to v čase, ktorý jej predpovedal Boh.
2 (UKJV) For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

3 (HEM) ויקרא אברהם את שם בנו הנולד לו אשר ילדה לו שרה יצחק׃
3 (KAT) Abrahám nazval svojho syna, ktorý sa mu narodil, čo mu porodila Sára, Izákom.
3 (UKJV) And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

4 (HEM) וימל אברהם את יצחק בנו בן שמנת ימים כאשר צוה אתו אלהים׃
4 (KAT) Abrahám obrezal svojho syna Izáka, keď mal osem dní, ako to prikázal Pán.
4 (UKJV) And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

5 (HEM) ואברהם בן מאת שנה בהולד לו את יצחק בנו׃
5 (KAT) Abrahám mal sto rokov, keď sa mu narodil jeho syn Izák.
5 (UKJV) And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

6 (HEM) ותאמר שרה צחק עשה לי אלהים כל השמע יצחק לי׃
6 (KAT) Vtedy povedala Sára: „Radostný smiech mi spôsobil Boh. Každý, kto o tom počuje, bude sa mi smiať.“
6 (UKJV) And Sarah said, God has made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

7 (HEM) ותאמר מי מלל לאברהם היניקה בנים שרה כי ילדתי בן לזקניו׃
7 (KAT) A znova povedala: „Kto by bol povedal Abrahámovi, že Sára bude ešte dojčiť deti? A predsa som porodila v jeho vysokom veku.“
7 (UKJV) And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

8 (HEM) ויגדל הילד ויגמל ויעש אברהם משתה גדול ביום הגמל את יצחק׃
8 (KAT) A chlapec rástol a bol odstavený. V deň, keď Izáka odstavili, urobil Abrahám veľkú hostinu.
8 (UKJV) And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

9 (HEM) ותרא שרה את בן הגר המצרית אשר ילדה לאברהם מצחק׃
9 (KAT) Sára videla, že syn Egypťanky Agar, ktorého porodila Abrahámovi, posmieva sa jej vlastnému synovi Izákovi.
9 (UKJV) And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

10 (HEM) ותאמר לאברהם גרש האמה הזאת ואת בנה כי לא יירש בן האמה הזאת עם בני עם יצחק׃
10 (KAT) Tu povedala Abrahámovi: „Vyžeň túto slúžku i jej syna, lebo syn tejto slúžky nesmie dediť s mojím synom Izákom!“
10 (UKJV) Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

11 (HEM) וירע הדבר מאד בעיני אברהם על אודת בנו׃
11 (KAT) Ale táto reč sa veľmi dotkla Abraháma, veď šlo o jeho syna.
11 (UKJV) And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.

12 (HEM) ויאמר אלהים אל אברהם אל ירע בעיניך על הנער ועל אמתך כל אשר תאמר אליך שרה שמע בקלה כי ביצחק יקרא לך זרע׃
12 (KAT) Boh mu však povedal: „Netráp sa nad chlapcom a nad svojou slúžkou! Počúvni Sáru vo všetkom, čo ti hovorí, lebo podľa Izáka sa bude volať tvoje potomstvo!
12 (UKJV) "And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in your sight because of the lad, and because of your bondwoman; in all that Sarah has said unto you, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall your seed be called. "

13 (HEM) וגם את בן האמה לגוי אשימנו כי זרעך הוא׃
13 (KAT) Ale aj zo syna slúžky urobím veľký národ, lebo on je tiež tvojím potomkom.“
13 (UKJV) And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is your seed.

14 (HEM) וישכם אברהם בבקר ויקח לחם וחמת מים ויתן אל הגר שם על שכמה ואת הילד וישלחה ותלך ותתע במדבר באר שבע׃
14 (KAT) Abrahám teda vstal včasráno, vzal chlieb a mech s vodou a dal to Agar, vyložil jej to na chrbát, a poslal ju aj s chlapcom preč. Ona šla a zablúdila na púšti Bersabe.
14 (UKJV) And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

15 (HEM) ויכלו המים מן החמת ותשלך את הילד תחת אחד השיחם׃
15 (KAT) Keď sa voda z mecha minula, uložila chlapca pod jeden z kríkov,
15 (UKJV) And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

16 (HEM) ותלך ותשב לה מנגד הרחק כמטחוי קשת כי אמרה אל אראה במות הילד ותשב מנגד ותשא את קלה ותבך׃
16 (KAT) poodišla a sadla si obďaleč, tak vo vzdialenosti dostrelu kuše, lebo si vravela: „Nemôžem sa pozerať na smrť dieťaťa.“ Tak sedela obďaleč a nahlas plakala.
16 (UKJV) And she went, and sat her down opposite to him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat opposite to him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

17 (HEM) וישמע אלהים את קול הנער ויקרא מלאך אלהים אל הגר מן השמים ויאמר לה מה לך הגר אל תיראי כי שמע אלהים אל קול הנער באשר הוא שם׃
17 (KAT) Boh však vypočul chlapcov hlas a Boží anjel takto zavolal z neba na Agar: „Čo ti je, Agar? Neboj sa! Veď Boh počul chlapcov hlas odtiaľ, kde je.
17 (UKJV) "And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What disturbs you, Hagar? fear not; for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. "

18 (HEM) קומי שאי את הנער והחזיקי את ידך בו כי לגוי גדול אשימנו׃
18 (KAT) Vstaň, vezmi chlapca a drž ho pevne za ruku, lebo z neho urobím veľký národ!“
18 (UKJV) "Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your hand; for I will make him a great nation. "

19 (HEM) ויפקח אלהים את עיניה ותרא באר מים ותלך ותמלא את החמת מים ותשק את הנער׃
19 (KAT) Tu jej Boh otvoril oči a ona zbadala studňu s vodou. I šla, naplnila mech vodou a napojila chlapca.
19 (UKJV) "And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. "

20 (HEM) ויהי אלהים את הנער ויגדל וישב במדבר ויהי רבה קשת׃
20 (KAT) A Boh bol s chlapcom. Keď vyrástol, býval na púšti a stal sa z neho veľký kušostrelec.
20 (UKJV) "And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. "

21 (HEM) וישב במדבר פארן ותקח לו אמו אשה מארץ מצרים׃
21 (KAT) Býval na púšti Fáran a jeho matka mu vzala ženu z egyptskej krajiny.
21 (UKJV) And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

22 (HEM) ויהי בעת ההוא ויאמר אבימלך ופיכל שר צבאו אל אברהם לאמר אלהים עמך בכל אשר אתה עשה׃
22 (KAT) V tom čase Abimelech a veliteľ jeho vojska Pichol povedali Abrahámovi: „Boh je s tebou vo všetkom, čo robíš.
22 (UKJV) And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spoke unto Abraham, saying, God is with you in all that you do:

23 (HEM) ועתה השבעה לי באלהים הנה אם תשקר לי ולניני ולנכדי כחסד אשר עשיתי עמך תעשה עמדי ועם הארץ אשר גרתה בה׃
23 (KAT) Preto mi teraz a na tomto mieste pred Bohom prisahaj, že sa nezachováš neverne ani proti mne, ani proti môjmu potomstvu! Ako som ti preukázal priateľstvo ja, tak (ho) preukazuj aj ty mne a celej krajine, v ktorej si bol hosťom.“
23 (UKJV) Now therefore swear unto me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto you, you shall do unto me, and to the land wherein you have sojourned.

24 (HEM) ויאמר אברהם אנכי אשבע׃
24 (KAT) Abrahám povedal: „Áno, budem prisahať!“
24 (UKJV) And Abraham said, I will swear.

25 (HEM) והוכח אברהם את אבימלך על אדות באר המים אשר גזלו עבדי אבימלך׃
25 (KAT) Potom Abrahám dohováral Abimelechovi pre studňu, ktorej sa zmocnili Abimelechovi sluhovia.
25 (UKJV) And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants had violently taken away.

26 (HEM) ויאמר אבימלך לא ידעתי מי עשה את הדבר הזה וגם אתה לא הגדת לי וגם אנכי לא שמעתי בלתי היום׃
26 (KAT) Abimelech však odvetil: „Ja neviem, kto to urobil. Ty si o tom nič nevravel a ani dodnes som o tom nič nepočul.“
26 (UKJV) "And Abimelech said, I know not who has done this thing; neither did you tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day. "

27 (HEM) ויקח אברהם צאן ובקר ויתן לאבימלך ויכרתו שניהם ברית׃
27 (KAT) Potom vzal Abrahám ovce a junce a dal ich Abimelechovi a obaja uzavreli zmluvu.
27 (UKJV) "And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant. "

28 (HEM) ויצב אברהם את שבע כבשת הצאן לבדהן׃
28 (KAT) Sedem jahníc však oddelil osobitne.
28 (UKJV) And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

29 (HEM) ויאמר אבימלך אל אברהם מה הנה שבע כבשת האלה אשר הצבת לבדנה׃
29 (KAT) I opýtal sa ho Abimelech: „Čo má znamenať tých sedem, osobitne oddelených jahníc?“
29 (UKJV) And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves?

30 (HEM) ויאמר כי את שבע כבשת תקח מידי בעבור תהיה לי לעדה כי חפרתי את הבאר הזאת׃
30 (KAT) On odpovedal: „Týchto sedem jahníc musíš vziať odo mňa, aby mi to bolo svedectvom, že som ja vykopal túto studňu.“
30 (UKJV) And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shall you take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have dug this well.

31 (HEM) על כן קרא למקום ההוא באר שבע כי שם נשבעו שניהם׃
31 (KAT) Preto sa tá studňa volá Bersabe, lebo tam obaja prisahali.
31 (UKJV) "Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they swore both of them. "

32 (HEM) ויכרתו ברית בבאר שבע ויקם אבימלך ופיכל שר צבאו וישבו אל ארץ פלשתים׃
32 (KAT) Takto uzavreli zmluvu pri Bersabe. Potom sa Abimelech a veliteľ vojska Pichol pobrali a vrátili sa do filištínskej krajiny.
32 (UKJV) Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

33 (HEM) ויטע אשל בבאר שבע ויקרא שם בשם יהוה אל עולם׃
33 (KAT) Abrahám však zasadil pri Bersabe tamarišku a vzýval tam meno Pána, večného Boha.
33 (UKJV) And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

34 (HEM) ויגר אברהם בארץ פלשתים ימים רבים׃
34 (KAT) A Abrahám býval dlhší čas ako cudzinec vo filištínskej krajine.
34 (UKJV) And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.
