1 (KAT) Abrahám odtiaľ odišiel na juh a zastavil sa medzi Kádešom a Surom. Keď sa zdržoval v Gerare,

3 (VUL) Venit autem Deus ad Abimelech per somnium nocte et ait illi: “En morieris propter mulierem, quam tulisti; habet enim virum”.

9 (UKJV) Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What have you done unto us? and what have I offended you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? you have done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

10 (KAT) A Abimelech povedal Abrahámovi: „Čo si tým zamýšľal, keď si takto konal?“

10 (UKJV) And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What saw you, that you have done this thing?

11 (KAT) Abrahám odpovedal: „Myslel som si, že na tomto mieste isto niet nijakej Božej bázne a že ma zabijú pre moju ženu!
11 (VUL) Respondit Abraham: “ Cogitavi mecum: Certe non est timor Dei in loco isto, et interficient me propter uxorem meam.

16 (KAT) Sáre zasa povedal: „Tu hľa, tvojmu bratovi dávam tisíc strieborných, to má byť ako odškodné v očiach všetkých, čo sú s tebou, a si ospravedlnená vo všetkom.“

17 (UKJV) "So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children. "
