Gn 12, 1-20

1 (HEM) ויאמר יהוה אל אברם לך לך מארצך וממולדתך ומבית אביך אל הארץ אשר אראך׃
1 (UKJV) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto a land that I will show you:

2 (HEM) ואעשך לגוי גדול ואברכך ואגדלה שמך והיה ברכה׃
2 (UKJV) "And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: "

3 (HEM) ואברכה מברכיך ומקללך אאר ונברכו בך כל משפחת האדמה׃
3 (UKJV) And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4 (HEM) וילך אברם כאשר דבר אליו יהוה וילך אתו לוט ואברם בן חמש שנים ושבעים שנה בצאתו מחרן׃
4 (UKJV) "So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. "

5 (HEM) ויקח אברם את שרי אשתו ואת לוט בן אחיו ואת כל רכושם אשר רכשו ואת הנפש אשר עשו בחרן ויצאו ללכת ארצה כנען ויבאו ארצה כנען׃
5 (UKJV) "And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had got in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came. "

6 (HEM) ויעבר אברם בארץ עד מקום שכם עד אלון מורה והכנעני אז בארץ׃
6 (UKJV) And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

7 (HEM) וירא יהוה אל אברם ויאמר לזרעך אתן את הארץ הזאת ויבן שם מזבח ליהוה הנראה אליו׃
7 (UKJV) And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto your seed will I give this land: and there built he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

8 (HEM) ויעתק משם ההרה מקדם לבית אל ויט אהלה בית אל מים והעי מקדם ויבן שם מזבח ליהוה ויקרא בשם יהוה׃
8 (UKJV) And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.

9 (HEM) ויסע אברם הלוך ונסוע הנגבה׃
9 (UKJV) And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

10 (HEM) ויהי רעב בארץ וירד אברם מצרימה לגור שם כי כבד הרעב בארץ׃
10 (UKJV) "And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. "

11 (HEM) ויהי כאשר הקריב לבוא מצרימה ויאמר אל שרי אשתו הנה נא ידעתי כי אשה יפת מראה את׃
11 (UKJV) And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that you are a fair woman to look upon:

12 (HEM) והיה כי יראו אתך המצרים ואמרו אשתו זאת והרגו אתי ואתך יחיו׃
12 (UKJV) Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see you, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save you alive.

13 (HEM) אמרי נא אחתי את למען ייטב לי בעבורך וחיתה נפשי בגללך׃
13 (UKJV) "Say, I pray you, you are my sister: that it may be well with me for your sake; and my soul shall live because of you. "

14 (HEM) ויהי כבוא אברם מצרימה ויראו המצרים את האשה כי יפה הוא מאד׃
14 (UKJV) And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

15 (HEM) ויראו אתה שרי פרעה ויהללו אתה אל פרעה ותקח האשה בית פרעה׃
15 (UKJV) The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

16 (HEM) ולאברם היטיב בעבורה ויהי לו צאן ובקר וחמרים ועבדים ושפחת ואתנת וגמלים׃
16 (UKJV) And he pleaded Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and male servants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

17 (HEM) וינגע יהוה את פרעה נגעים גדלים ואת ביתו על דבר שרי אשת אברם׃
17 (UKJV) And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

18 (HEM) ויקרא פרעה לאברם ויאמר מה זאת עשית לי למה לא הגדת לי כי אשתך הוא׃
18 (UKJV) And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that you have done unto me? why did you not tell me that she was your wife?

19 (HEM) למה אמרת אחתי הוא ואקח אתה לי לאשה ועתה הנה אשתך קח ולך׃
19 (UKJV) Why said you, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold your wife, take her, and go your way.

20 (HEM) ויצו עליו פרעה אנשים וישלחו אתו ואת אשתו ואת כל אשר לו׃
20 (UKJV) And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

Verš 1

ויאמר יהוה אל אברם לך לך מארצך וממולדתך ומבית אביך אל הארץ אשר אראך׃

Sk 7:3 - ויאמר אליו לך לך מארצך וממולדתך ובא אל הארץ אשר אראך׃

Heb 11:8 - באמונה שמע אברהם כאשר נקרא ללכת אל הארץ אשר יירשנה ויצא ולא ידע אנה יבוא׃

Verš 3

ואברכה מברכיך ומקללך אאר ונברכו בך כל משפחת האדמה׃

Gn 18:18 - ואברהם היו יהיה לגוי גדול ועצום ונברכו בו כל גויי הארץ׃

Gn 22:18 - והתברכו בזרעך כל גויי הארץ עקב אשר שמעת בקלי׃

Gn 26:4 - והרביתי את זרעך ככוכבי השמים ונתתי לזרעך את כל הארצת האל והתברכו בזרעך כל גויי הארץ׃

Sk 3:25 - אתם בני הנביאים ובני הברית אשר כרת האלהים עם אבותינו באמרו אל אברהם ונברכו בזרעך כל משפחות האדמה׃

Gal 3:8 - והמקרא בראתו מראש כי האלהים יצדיק את הגוים מתוך האמונה קדם לבשר את אברהם לאמר ונברכו בך כל הגוים׃

Verš 5

ויקח אברם את שרי אשתו ואת לוט בן אחיו ואת כל רכושם אשר רכשו ואת הנפש אשר עשו בחרן ויצאו ללכת ארצה כנען ויבאו ארצה כנען׃

Sk 7:4 - ויצא מארץ כשדים וישב בחרן ואחרי מות אביו העביר אתו משם אל הארץ הזאת אשר אתם ישבים בה עתה׃

Verš 6

ויעבר אברם בארץ עד מקום שכם עד אלון מורה והכנעני אז בארץ׃

Gn 10:18 - ואת הארודי ואת הצמרי ואת החמתי ואחר נפצו משפחות הכנעני׃

Gn 13:7 - ויהי ריב בין רעי מקנה אברם ובין רעי מקנה לוט והכנעני והפרזי אז ישב בארץ׃

Verš 7

וירא יהוה אל אברם ויאמר לזרעך אתן את הארץ הזאת ויבן שם מזבח ליהוה הנראה אליו׃

Gn 13:15 - כי את כל הארץ אשר אתה ראה לך אתננה ולזרעך עד עולם׃

Gn 15:18 - ביום ההוא כרת יהוה את אברם ברית לאמר לזרעך נתתי את הארץ הזאת מנהר מצרים עד הנהר הגדל נהר פרת׃

Gn 17:8 - ונתתי לך ולזרעך אחריך את ארץ מגריך את כל ארץ כנען לאחזת עולם והייתי להם לאלהים׃

Gn 24:7 - יהוה אלהי השמים אשר לקחני מבית אבי ומארץ מולדתי ואשר דבר לי ואשר נשבע לי לאמר לזרעך אתן את הארץ הזאת הוא ישלח מלאכו לפניך ולקחת אשה לבני משם׃

Gn 26:4 - והרביתי את זרעך ככוכבי השמים ונתתי לזרעך את כל הארצת האל והתברכו בזרעך כל גויי הארץ׃

Dt 34:4 - ויאמר יהוה אליו זאת הארץ אשר נשבעתי לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לאמר לזרעך אתננה הראיתיך בעיניך ושמה לא תעבר׃

Verš 13

אמרי נא אחתי את למען ייטב לי בעבורך וחיתה נפשי בגללך׃

Gn 20:12 - וגם אמנה אחתי בת אבי הוא אך לא בת אמי ותהי לי לאשה׃

Gn 26:7 - וישאלו אנשי המקום לאשתו ויאמר אחתי הוא כי ירא לאמר אשתי פן יהרגני אנשי המקום על רבקה כי טובת מראה היא׃

Verš 17

וינגע יהוה את פרעה נגעים גדלים ואת ביתו על דבר שרי אשת אברם׃

Ž 105:14 - לא הניח אדם לעשקם ויוכח עליהם מלכים׃

Gn 12,1-3 - Ťažko rozhodnúť, či povolanie, ktoré sa popisuje v týchto veršoch, stalo sa v Harane alebo už v Ure. Podľa Sk 7,2 tieto slová povedal Boh Abramovi v Ure; v našom kontexte skorej patria do času, keď Abram už bol v Harane a keď mu už otec zomrel. Vec možno chápať aj tak, že svätopisec najprv dokončil rozpravu o ceste a potom uvádza slová povolania, ale nemožno vylúčiť ani opakovanie povolania Abrama: prvý raz v Ure a druhý raz v Harane.Pre Abrama a jeho rodinu nebolo ľahko opustiť vlastnú krajinu. Má ísť do neznámej krajiny, do krajiny, ktorá nebude hneď jeho, ale len v neskorších pokoleniach. Má teda zameniť isté za neisté a neznáme. V jeho poslušnosti možno vidieť živú vieru v slová Božie (Hebr 11,8). "V tebe budú požehnané všetky pokolenia zeme" porov. Gn 22,18; Gal 3,6-18.

Gn 12,4-7 - Abram odišiel aj z Haranu. Karavána tiahla od severovýchodu k Damasku a odtiaľ popri Genezaretskom jazere na juh k Sichemu. Terebint Moreho – dub vidiaceho alebo veštca. Pravdepodobne pod týmto košatým terebintom bolo nejaké bohoslužobné miesto kanaánskych modloslužobníkov. Vari z pohybu listov a ich šumotu vyvodzoval budúce príbehy. Je známe, že v Kanaáne bolo veľa posvätných stromov, celé háje. Izraeliti ich pálili, ale zavše aj oni odpadli k modloslužbe a uctievali v týchto hájoch Bála a Aštartu.

Gn 12,8-9 - Od Sichemu tiahol Abram na juh. Betel sa v časoch Abramových volal Luza; tu sa uvádza pod známejším menom z časov Jakubových (Gn 28,19). Negeb, južný kraj alebo juh, je vlastným pomenovaním najjužnejšej čiastky Palestíny.

Gn 12,13 - Abram zamlčal, že Sára je jeho ženou. Hovoril však aj pravdu, keď vravel, že je jeho sestrou (20,12), a konal podľa stupňa morálky svojho veku, keď svedomie neodsudzovalo každú lož a keď sa život muža hodnotil viac ako česť ženy. Svä topiscovi tu záleží hlavne na tom, aby ukázal, ako Boh uchránil čistotu matky budúceho vyvoleného národa.
