Iz 12, 1-6

1 And you will say in that day: “I will confess to you, O Lord, because you have been angry with me; but your fury has been turned away, and you have consoled me. 2 Behold, God is my savior, I will act faithfully, and I will not be afraid. For the Lord is my strength and my praise, and he has become my salvation.” 3 You will draw water with gladness from the fountains of the Savior. 4 And you will say in that day: “Confess the Lord, and invoke his name! Make his plans known among the peoples! Remember that his name is exalted! 5 Sing to the Lord, for he has acted magnificently! Announce it to the whole world! 403 6 Exult and give praise, O habitation of Zion! For the Great One, the Holy One of Israel, is in your midst!”

You will draw water with gladness from the fountains of the Savior.

And you will say in that day: “Confess the Lord, and invoke his name! Make his plans known among the peoples! Remember that his name is exalted!
Jn 17:1 - Jesus said these things, and then, lifting up his eyes toward heaven, he said: “Father, the hour has arrived: glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you,
Jn 17:4 - I have glorified you on earth. I have completed the work that you gave me to accomplish.
Jn 17:6 - I have manifested your name to the men whom you have given to me from the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me. And they have kept your word.
Jn 17:26 - And I have made known your name to them, and I will make it known, so that the love in which you have loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them.”

Iz 12,1 - Hl. 12 je chválospev vykúpených, ktorým sa zakončuje rad veľkolepých mesiášskych proroctiev, uložených v knihe o Emanuelovi.

Iz 12,3 - Pramene vôd, v Palestíne veľmi vzácne, sú tu obrazom mesiášskych darov (porov. Jn 4,13; 7,37).
