Biblia - Sväté písmo

(UKJV - Anglický - Updated King James)

Ž 60, 1-12

1 "O God, you have cast us off, you have scattered us, you have been displeased; O turn yourself to us again. " 2 "You have made the earth to tremble; you have broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shakes. " 3 You have showed your people hard things: you have made us to drink the wine of astonishment. 4 You have given a banner to them that fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. 5 "That your beloved may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me. " 6 "God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. " 7 "Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver; " 8 "Moab is my pot for washing; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph you because of me. " 9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom? 10 Will not you, O God, which had cast us off? and you, O God, which did not go out with our armies? 11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Ž 60, 1-12

Verš 1
"O God, you have cast us off, you have scattered us, you have been displeased; O turn yourself to us again. "
2Sam 8:3 - David stroke also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.
2Sam 8:13 - And David got him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.
1Krn 18:3 - And David stroke Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to establish his dominion by the river Euphrates.
1Krn 18:12 - Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.
Ž 144:10 - It is he that gives salvation unto kings: who delivers David his servant from the hurtful sword.

Verš 5
"That your beloved may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me. "
Ž 108:6 - That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.

Z 60,2 - Porov. 2 Sam 8,3-8; 10,6-19; 1 Krn 18 n.

Z 60,8 - Sichem (dnešný Nablús) je v strede Palestíny predjordánskej (Gn 33,18) a Sukot ("stany" - mesto stanov) zasa v strede zajordánskej Palestíny, neďaleko rieky Jaboka, v kraji kmeňa Gadovho (Gn 33,17 a Joz 13,27). Tieto dve mestá tu zastupujú celú zasľúbenú zem, východnú i západnú časť. Celú túto zem dal Boh do vlastníctva Izraelu.

Izrael si ich podmaní a budú mu posluhovať.
