1 Ž 15, 1 Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill? 2 Ž 15, 2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. 3 Ž 15, 3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbour. 4 Ž 15, 4 "In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not. " 5 Ž 15, 5 He that puts not out his money to interest, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.

He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
Ž 24:4 - "He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. "
Iz 33:15 - "He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil; "
Z 15 - Ako svedčí titul žalmu, žalm je od Dávida. Aj zmienka o stánku svedčí, že žalm je starý. Pre podobnosť so žalmom 24, ktorý bol napísaný pri príležitosti prenesenia archy zmluvy na Sion, mohol byť žalm napísaný v tých istých okolnostiach (2 Sam 12,6 a n.). Je zbierkou mravných príkazov; porov. Desatoro Ex 20,1-17.
Z 15,4 - "Bohabojní" - častý výraz v žalmoch a znamená ľudí veriacich, oddaných Bohu; neskôr aj pohanov, ktorí sympatizovali so Židmi, porov. Sk 2,11; 10,2.
